Chapter 5 Happy Birthday

The view in front of him blow out his head and a sharp pain engulfed his heart. Subconsciously his hand reached to his heart.

Dustin witnessed his Angel standing beside her car and a little far a young handsome man standing with a bunch of roses. The immense love that sparkled in the man's eyes is evident to Dustin.

Soon the sky started to shimmer with fireworks. In between those fireworks some letters caught up his attention " HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRINCESS ".

At that moment he noticed his Angel running towards the man and hugging him.

Dustin immediately left from there. He can't even tolerate the scene of his Angel in another men embrace. Returning he instructed the driver to drive away.

Kelly failed to acknowledge the emotions that reflect in Dustin's eyes because Dustin always hides his emotions from others.

The person who was left out is not the person who returned, Kelly was sure that something is not right. During the entire journey, there's pin-drop silence in the car.

Reaching the mansion, Dustin went out without even glancing at Kelly. Kelly tries to stop him to say something but then thought not to disturb his boss now.

Dustin directly headed towards his bedroom. Stripped out his clothes and stood under the shower. Dustin felt as his soul separated from him. He can't figure out the reason for his pain.

Just a glance at her made him fall for her deeply. Is this love or just an attraction. No, it's not just attraction because he never felt this pain before for anyone. Dustin's head exploded with lots of thoughts.

What if she is in love with that man, what if she is already married...., thinking about all these he feels so jealous towards that man. soon he came out of the shower and dressed up.

Even the thoughts of his Angel never left him for a second. To divert his mind he went to his wine cabinet and drank a whole bottle of whiskey.

After sometime still, there is not any change in his thoughts. That's when he realized that even alcohol wouldn't help to control his feelings and thoughts about his Angel. So he just closed his eyes imagining his Angel's face and slept off.

On the other side~

Zara pursued grandma drop her at her house. On the way, she texted Zaid about her delay. As per grandma's instruction, Zara reached in front of an old shabby house. Zooming the surrounding Zara asked," Grandma do you live here..?".

"Yes, dear....am living here for the past 2 years...".

" Grandma where is your children, " Zara asked her eagerly.

Grandma passed a pain-filled smile to Zara.

"I have 2 sons and 1 daughter. My husband died in an accident 4 years back. After his death, I was living with my sons. But soon their wives started to make unnecessary allegations against me to my sons. Later on, my daughter to join them. After that, I was unable to live in their house. So 2 years back I shifted here with the help of my friend. Now am doing small household chores in nearby neighbourhoods, they used to pay me some cash. I am living with that ."

Grandma left out a deep sigh after reminiscing about her past. Zara felt pain by hearing grandma's life.

" What about your sons.?Did they try to contact you after your departure..? ".

"No...I know that they don't want to piss off their wives...so I never tried to contact them".

Zara felt sad for the grandma. She can't able to control her anger toward grandma's sons who abandoned their old mother. Zara started her car drive off immediately without letting the old lady get out of the car.

"Where are you taking me, my child. Drop me here itself" grandma said in a panic.

"Relax grandma...I will take you somewhere... You will love it. come with me...please..." Zara whined.

Grandma gives her a helpless look. Grandma is confused about where Zara is taking her.

After an hour Zara directly went towards Bridget's Square. She's late due to a sudden encounter with granny. Zara parked her car and texted Zaid that she reached the spot.

A few minutes later Zaid called her to get off the car. Soon after she went out of the car, the sparkling fireworks began. At last, it showed "Happy Birthday Princess".

Just then she remembered that today is her birthday, she has forgotten it. Zara couldn't control her tears. she ran towards Zaid and hugged him.

After some time she asked, "Do you still remember it..?"

" Yes, princess. How can I forget my one and only sister's Birthday?" Zaid smiled and pecked her forehead "Happy Birthday Princess".

"Thank you brother ".Zara replied with a big hug. Zaid felt heavenly by sensing Zara's happiness.

"Thank God ....so how can I have lots of chocolates as my birthday gift...right..?"

Zaid laughed out aloud. "Despite anything you only need some chocolates as your birthday gift? Ask something else, my dear...I would love to give you anything."Zaid added.

Zara hurriedly denied it and said, "No need of any other things...For me you are precious..But now, at this moment chocolates are more precious to me...".

Hearing her playful words Zaid made a fake angry face and pretend to run behind her to hit "You...."

Sensing Zaid's action, Zara started to run around the car. Soon Zaid surrendered to Zara. Then he leads her towards his car. There's a cake waiting for them.

"Now...My dear sister... can you please do honour for this cake?"

Zara laughed, then she cut the cake and feed her brother. Zaid too feeds her back.

" Now be ready for your next surprise princess".

Then Zaid took out a box from his pocket. It is a bicoloured box. "Open it dear...".

Zara opened the box, a beautiful round-shaped pendant with loads of small tiny diamond stones is in it. "It's beautiful brother...Thank you.." Zara gave a bear hug to Zaid.

"Hmmm...Now be ready for your next and final surprise..."

Zara stunned then replied"Still you have another one...hmmm.Let's see whether it will satisfy me or not.."

Zaid made a phone call soon a man approached Zaid and give a key to Zara.

Seeing the key Zara shouted, " What the hell....".
