Trisha felt cold. She could feel a breeze whipping through her body. Her hair danced and it felt heavier on her head like it was hanging loosely, it's weight casting a pain on her neck.
She felt strained. She could feel herself moving, her arm fell limply on her side swinging while her body was bobbing up and down.
She tried to open her eyes, but was met with darkness. She moved her lashes in an attempt to clear her sight. It was then that she realised that she was blind folded.
Her body kept its bobbing and shaking rythm as she tried to shift her shoulders, and there she felt it, an arm which coiled tightly around her body, like a snake, it circled her entire form.
She understood that she was being carried.
"Where am I, where are you taking me?" She asked with a soft tone.
"To paradise," answered the man with a breathy tone.
She tried to free herself by trashing as much as she could within the man's embrace, but it was futile. He held on to her tighter.
"Please let me go" she pleaded, but this time, the man did not give a reply.
She had no idea how long he carried her in his arms. All that is clear to her, was the fear that had settled inside her chest. What the man did to the other woman, would she suffer the same?
Trisha prayed and called out to all the saints and angels she could name. She never offended anyone, never in her life did she hurt anyone. She is a good person and she is about to devote her life to God. But why? Why is this happening to her now. What devil had she crossed to find herself in this nightmare?
Trisha kept her mind free of anything else, other than prayers. She begged the divine, she vowed, she made promises.
The man carrying her must have heard her pray and plead.
He laughed, there was an undertone in his voice that sent shivers down Trisha's spine.
"No one can save you now, no one will take you from me. Your devotion to them had taken your youth and now, it's my turn." The man said as he threw her body on what felt like a soft mattress.
Trisha didn't know what to do. She can't see, she can't think, all she had the power of, was words of prayer.
She felt the mattress dip and before she knew it, the man yanked her towards himself where she ended up straddling him. Her body collided with his and Trisha felt how hard and sturdy it was. She squealed when he cupped her breast with one hand.
"Would it break you if I take your purity while wearing this dress?" he asked while his hands fisted on the hem of her scapular.
"God condemn you" Trisha yelled as she felt him raise her dress, exposing her legs..
"Stockings?" the man asked amused.
"Let me go" Trisha yelled as she tried to crawl away from him.
"I'm glad you kept yourself pure Trish, I would have lost it if someone got to you before me." the man whispered as his tongue trailed down her neck.
He pushed her on the bed where she found herself completely laying down, facing him and utterly hopeless.
"Don't do this to me." she begged, trying her best to remain calm despite the knowledge of how weightless her pleads sounded to the man.
He slowly traced her legs with his fingers in a feathery touch, he started from her upper right leg as he hooked his pointer finger on her stockings, pulling it down in a slow sensual motion.
Trisha could only close her eyes. She wanted to kick him, slap him, yell at him, but everything seemed futile. The man has an imposing aura around himself that muted any move she may have had.
She gave up, she closed her eyes while. Chanting every prayer she could remember.
She was awakened by a loud noise. She stirred on the bed and tried to get up, but she found herself bound. Both her wrist are tied to either side of the bed's upper post and one of her leg is bound on the lower. She gasped when she realised that she was naked.
Tears began to pool on the side of her eyes. Her lips quivering from the amount of emotion running through her body. It's over, her life is over.
The loud noise came again. She tried to focus on her surroundings and found that she is inside a room. She is laying on a queen size bed, a wooden drawer is on her right. The walls are painted with white without a single frame or ornament hanging on it.
Bare, the room is bare just like her.
The sound came again and that's when Trisha realized that it was the sound of someone drilling. She tried to pull her arms free but the more she tugged, the more her bounds tightened on her wrist.
Feeling hopeless and drained, Trisha closed her eyes and fell asleep.
Mom, will God answer all my prayers if I'm a good girl?
I can't answer that for you Trisha, but one thing you must keep in you're heart is God answers our prayers with two things. It's either yes or wait, but never a no. So all you have to do is keep your faith. He will always guide you and protect you from harm.
Will he always watch over me? Even if you and dad are not here?
Of course he will honey. He is everywhere and he will always, always keep you safe.
That means I have nothing to be scared of, God will always be with me?
Yes honey, always...
Trisha woke up with tears streaming down her cheeks. The dream left her faith wavering.
"Then why, why?" she said bitterly.
Her mother, are they searching for her? Her father, is he okay? Did he not have a heart attack when they found out she was missing? Do they even know she is missing?
Her musing was interrupted by the sudden creaking of the door in her room. She tried to focus on it and slowly, a hand emerged pushing the door open.
Trisha.... The man said with a malicious grin.
Her eyes widened at the sight. Familiarity came crashing down on her as she soaked on the visage.
"You?"
"Why..."
"Why..."
The man laughed loudly as a response. You broke my heart, choosing a man who is only known by words and stone figures. You're such a hypocrite.
He strolled towards her in a gait she knew so well.
Please, please don't do this" she begged as he came closer to her.
"Do what? Whatever I plan to do to you is something you promised a decade ago."
Trisha felt her tears fall non stop. Her chest constricted, her breathing became shallow.
"That was a mistake.. It was a mistake" she yelled as he finally sat beside her on the bed.
