Chapter 2 He's gone mom!

ARIANA

"He killed him mum, right there in my front and I couldn't do anything, I couldn't help him and I watched him stab him and I still couldn't do anything"

I cried as my mum consoled me patting my back.

"It's all my fault mum, I caused all these, I killed him I killed Dave"

I cried heavily

"It's not your fault honey , stop blaming yourself for it"

"But he died because of me" I protested as tears kept washing down my face.

The image of Dave floated through my head making me cry more.

I didn't love him at the beginning of our relationship but now am already loving him, I love him now but what happened?

He's gone

Gone forever

He promised hes gonna stay alive for me

He promised he will always be there to protect me from Charles

He promised he's gonna make sure he bring Charles at my feet

But what happened to all those promises

Those are all fake promises

He's dead now and all the promises are gone

Gone with him.

No one to hold me tight and sing into my ears any more

No one to assure me everything's gonna be okay anymore

No one to stand up for me anymore

No one to encourage me anymore

No one to strengthen me when am down anymore

I cried as these and many other thoughts flow through my mind.

I felt bitter for dating him.

I wish I could reversed everything to the beginning, I would have turned him down for his own safety.

For him to be alive.

I would have reject him and stay away from him.

I hated myself.

"Everything's going to be fine Ariana" Dad promised

Those fake promises

He has been saying that since the death of Martins but still nothing happen.

Things just got worse once he said that.

I hate those promises

I hate them .

The door flung open and two police officers, a man and a woman walked into the sitting room.

Dad stood up as he shooked their hand offering them a seat.

"How's the case going officer" Dad asked as he also took his seat opposite them.

"We are still investigating, we haven't been able to get his location, but he's gonna be arrested and prosecuted very soon sure" The female cop said as she glanced at me.

"You don't have to cry all day, you may end up hurting yourself, and besides we need you to help find him because we can only get him through you"

I stared at her for seconds

"How" I managed to ask as my voice was shaking

"It's obvious he wants you that's why he kept killing all your boyfriends... Had it been you are the one he wanted to kill then he would have done that long time ago but he didn't because you are the one he want and he couldn't dare hurt you" She said

Yeah! She's right, he wanted me.

Had it been he wanted to kill me then I would have been dead by now.

"All we need right now is to wait for him to call you so we can track down his location and then he's gone" She said

I laughed inwardly

Seems they don't know who they are dealing with

SOPHIA

I walked into the school restaurant with Hannah beside me gossiping as usual.

Didn't hear a thing from what she has been saying since .

"Isn't that funny" She said as she laughed.

I faked a laughter so as to avoid war.

Immediately we entered the restaurant then all eyes fell on us as people stared at us from different angles with their phone in their hands.

Some stared back into their phone and stared back at us with a shock written on their face.

Why's everyone acting weird

Why are they all staring at us that way

This is strange

We walked to our normal seat as their gaze follows us.

I started feeling uneasy as the stares are becoming too much to handle.

Hannah stopped talking

She has just noticed it too

"Sophy, don't you think something is wrong, I mean the stares" She said as she looked around.

"I don't really understand what's going on right now" I said confusedly.

"Hi girls" Xavier said as he walked over to us with Jackson beside him.

Jackson is his best friend

The look on Xavier face also says something his wrong

He always has this smile on his face but this time he has a confused look on his face.

"Xavier what's wwrong, why are they staring at us" I managed to ask

"They are not staring at Hannah, they are staring at you" He said

"Me? Why? I mean I didn't do anything wrong.... Or did I? " I asked confusedly

"Here" He handed over his phone to me and I collected it checking what's going on.

"OMG!!!!!!!! " I screamed as I stared at the screen unbelievably.
