Chapter 5 DINNA PROMISING CHIRA

Dolo POV

It's a brand new day. I walk into my office quickly. I can still remember what took place this morning.

How Chira fed me with her two lovely hand.

I am really happy to have Chira as my daughter.

How would my innocent little daughter change to when she gets to the outside world.

She would be starting school in the next two years.

I look at my wrist watch. I still have time to rest.

I lay my head on my table to rest before going to the production room.

Minutes later, My phone rings.

I yawned keeping my head up.

I picked my phone up to see who is calling.

It was a strange number. I picked it up.

"Hello." I said.

"Hello Dolo, this is your Boss. Kindly save my number because I would be calling you time to time with this number." The person on the other line said.

"Okay sir." I said.

I quickly opened my contact list to save the number.

I looked at my wrist watch again.

I still had about five minutes to myself.

I stood up and started preparing to go to the production room. I arranged my table carrying all the piles of paper on my table away.

I left for the production room some minutes later.

On my way going to the production room, The head of my department rushed to me.

"Dolo you are giving orders today." He said.

"Okay sir." I answered.

He gave me a piece of paper where the orders to be given were listed and tipped something into my pocket.

I looked at him and he smiled.

"Give it to little Chira." He said and I nodded my head smiling back.

I am already his friend so he doesn't act like a Boss to me but as a friend and also my creativity and productivity makes him happy with me.

I went into the production room to give the different orders listed in the paper given to me.

I went around checking what they were doing.

At the end of the day, I went to see the head of my department.

I knocked immediately I got to his office door.

"Who is there?" My department head asked from inside.

"Dolo" I replied.

He told me to come in and I entered his office.

"Good afternoon Dolo." He greeted looking at his computer.

"Good afternoon sir." I said before having my sit on a chair in the office.

We discussed at random about some issues.

After discussing for some minutes, I left his office and walked out of the industry.

Dinna POV

I sat outside the house being tired of Chira noise. It was good hearing her make noise but it was also disturbing.

I had a novel in my hand which I was reading before dozing off.

Chira wakes me up with her being excited.

"Mama, are you tired?" She asked and I nodded my head.

"Why can't you play with me as Papa does?" She asked and I smiled.

I didn't know what to tell her as I needed more rest so I touched her soft hair.

Chira opened her mouth smiling and ran.

I looked up to see who she ran to meet. It was my husband.

I walked over to my husband and wrapped my hands around his waist.

Chira clapped her hands calling out, "Mama, Papa."

"Come here my little Chira." My husband said stretching out his hands for Chira after I pulled back.

Chira ran into her father's arm giggling.

Her father carried her up.

"Papa let's play." Chira kept saying.

"Don't you want Papa to take a nap." Dolo said.

"Um." Chira said thinking.

I look at Chira and laughed.

"Okay Papa, I would give you thirty minutes." Chira said to her father giving him a warning look.

"Okay I agree." Her father said dropping her.

He went into the house and I carried Chira with me into the house.

I went into the kitchen to put my husband food on his favorite plate.

I turn to Chira.

"Go, give this to your Papa." I said placing the hot plate containing food on her hand.

"No Mama, you know I am a small girl." Chira said to me.

I laughed and bend to her level.

"Okay I will take it to him myself." I said then Chira happily nod.

I took the food to Dolo with Chira by my side.

I did what I did to see if Chira had power to lift things but I guess her supernatural strength wasn't up to that level.

I gave the food which I had made to Dolo then yawned.

I was extremely tired.

Chira watched her father eat his porridge.

Dolo looked up at Chira and smiled.

He finished eating the porridge and called Chira to his side giving her the soup.

Chira sipped the soup looking at me.

She withdrew from the soup when she felt full.

Dolo point the remaining soup to me and I shake my head. He later drink the remaining soup.

"My little Chira, should we play now?" Dolo asked Chira.

"No, we shouldn't play just after eating." She said.

Dolo and I look at each other being amazed by Chira's speech.

"Okay Chira, I would play with you tomorrow." I said.

Chira clapped her hands with joy.

"Wow, Mama is going to play with me tomorrow." She said giggling.

Dolo looked at Chira and put his left hand across her back.

"My Chira is going to become a student before she starts school." Dolo said and I laugh.

Chira looked at the both of us not understanding why we are laughing and joins us laughing.

"Papa when I have my siblings, I would make them laugh." She said amidst laughter.

Dolo and I look at her again.

"Is the angel still teaching you?" I ask Chira.

Chira understanding what I meant nod her head.

Dolo looked at me.

"Angel, What Angel?" He asked with seriousness.

Chira faced him and turned his face to her.

"Papa." She called folding her legs together.

She starts explaining all about the angel with her father giving her his full attention.

After explaining everything to him, Dolo pulled her to himself.

"I don't want you to die as my mother died." He said.

"No Papa, I am not going to die but win every battle I fight." Chira said.
