Chapter 5 Right Hand

"Hello everyone."

"She is Debby gold's right hand girl."

"What!! Get out of here now before I call the cops!!" Mom threatened.

"No, that was then long before she was arrested, we are no longer buddies anymore."

"Why? what happened?"

"I found out something unbelievable about her."

"You can only see it to believe it go to Debby gold's house, stalk around the house you'll see what will shock you to the core."

"Just tell us what it is."

"Like I said you can only see it to believe it, I advice you go this evening, her parents won't be home."

"So you want me to go search the house."

"Yes but don't go alone and search the rooms, the upstairs everything and make sure you leave before her parents get back."

"How will I get into the house?"

"The front door is not going to be locked."

"Are you seriously listening to her, its probably a set up, my daughter will not go anywhere."

"I'm only playing my part, the information you'll find will help you greatly on your quest and will give you a leverage and also a chance to defeat Dario, go by 6:00 pm, have a nice day." She said that and left. Quest? Leverage? Playing her part, i don't understand her words.

"You will not go Debby gold's house!! And that's final." She said in a small but stern voice and gave me the "I'm dead serious look"

"Mom Debby gold is still in jail, she can't do much from there, just let me go and check out what Happiness was talking about."

"Okay, can I make a phone call?"

"Why are you asking me? Anyways sure." I went outside and made I conference call with Dinela and Alero.

"Hey ladies."

"You won't be able to guess who came to the hospital."

"Happiness, Debby gold's right hand girl back in secondary school."

"How did she know you are in the hospital? Why are you in the hospital?"

"Yeah babe, what happened?"

"Come to my house now, I'll meet you there, Dario attacked my mom and my biological mom came to my office today."

"What!! Is your biological mom not supposed to be dead?" Dinela yelled into the phone.

"Why and how did Dario attacked your foster mom?"

"Apparently he wanted to kill her unborn baby."

"Your foster mom is pregnant at her age!!! And you didn't care to inform us."

"Meet me back at my place, my mom, dad and I will be there soon."

"Later." I have a whole lot of explaining to do. I went back into the room and saw my foster dad next to mom's bed then I realised he didn't say a word when Happiness was here, that's odd.

"When did the doctor say she will be discharged?"

"I am just coming from the doctor's office, he said you can go home now but you need to stay away from enclosed space."

"Dad?"

"Yeah."

"When did you go to the doctor's office, you have been in the room since, I was outside, I didn't see you come in or go out."

"What are you saying dear, he went out right before that Happiness girl walked in."

"What!! How come I d-" I was interrupted by a sharp pain beneath my left breast, the huge long marks there began to hurt.

I screamed out in pain as I struggled to unbutton my shirt exposing my bra and the huge marks that are like claw marks beneath my bra, it was like the mark was getting deeper tearing my skin, the marks were getting larger too.

This started two years ago, the pain will come and go but each time the pain comes the scar of the mark gets deeper and larger. There is a reason its called a scar, the mark already healed, the mark it leaves after it healed is called a scar which is never supposed to hurt.

"Honey, its happening again." My mom said shaking.

"Take deep breathes it will go, it always does." Dad said encouragingly.

"But it hurts more each time." I grunted out as the pain relieved me, I let out a sigh and stood up straight.

"Why has the scars become deeper?" My mom asked curious.

"I have no idea." Come on let's go home.

"Okay."

We left the hospital and went home, we met Dinela and Alero standing outside the house.

"What took you so long? We have been waiting for quite a while now."

"Sorry about that." I apologized as I unlocked the door and we all entered the house.

"How are you feeling Mrs Amira? Azyma briefed us what happened and also told us that you are pregnant, congratulations."

"Thank you so much."

"I told them when I went outside to make a call." I clarified so mom won't think I lied to Mr Akhila.

"Let's go to my room, I'll tell you guys everything."

"I'm mentally and physically exhausted."

"Come on already, tell us everything especially the part were you said you saw your biological mother."

"Yeah spill girl." Alero encouraged.

"Alright alright, pipe down."

Flashback.

A knock on my office door sounded, its probably the CEO of Mathias inc.

"Come in."

The CEO entered but my head was buried in what I was doing that I didn't see her face.

"Good day Miss Axymah." He greeted.

"Good day to..." I said as I rose my head up, when I saw who it was I couldn't finish my sentence, shock was written all over my face, I was beyond stunned. Mom.

My biological mother, the one who birthed me, the one that was known to be dead for over 9 years, standing right in front of me, able and healthy, not a single bruise or scar, how is that possible?

All these years she has been alive, she never bothered to come see me, to save me from the evil clutches of my stepfather, she left me to suffer despite being alive all these years.

"My daughter, I have missed you," she said with a weak smile "how have you been my child?"

"No... No, stay away from me, get away."

"We will talk about this outside the office now its time to do business, please, my company needs this contract."

Still shocked, I knew I need to assign the contract to one of the companies, I regained my composure and offered her a seat with watery eyes, I cannot let my emotions get the better of me.

"So why do you want the contract?"

"Its crucial my company gets the contract, we need it..."

"That's all, you may leave." I interrupted her rudely.

"What! But I'm not done."

"I said you may leave, I've heard all I need to."

"Please do not drag our personal matters to this."

"So your biological mother is still alive, and all she wanted to talk about was business, she never came to see you not even once, she didn't even try to hug you or anything, she is a bitch."
