Chapter 5 What is this feeling

KIRA P.O.V

I invited Lena to come over to my place so we can do our assignment together.

I decided to order for pizza, so i called the Dan's pizza shop and place an order, I kept arranging my room when i heard Eric screaming my name.

Kira, go get the door,Eric yelled.

Please help me get it,am busy here, I think it the pizza I orders for,I said.

Okay, where is the money, He asked. Just pay for it, I will give you back, I said.

When i was done arranging my room, I went downstairs to get the pizza, I enter the kitchen but the pizza was not there.

Where did Eric keep it, Eric, Eric, I called him but he wasn't answering, so I decided to check the sitting room when i saw him leaning on the door.

I went closer to him, Eric where is the pizza, I asked.

What! He asked startled.

Where is the pizza, I asked again.

Oh here, he said giving me the pizza.

What is wrong with you and why is your face so red, I asked.

Nothing just take your pizza and leave,he groaned.

Fine,if you say so, I said collecting the pizza from him.

I went back to the kitchen to prepare orange juice, when i was done, I called Lena to know where she is, she picked on the second ring.

Hey bestie, where are you, I asked.

Am on my way, Lena replied.

Okay be fast about that and drive safe, I told her.

Okay besties,she said and I hang up.

I took the pizza and the jug containing the orange juice to my room and set it on the table and went to the bathroom to have a quick shower.

**ONE HOUR**

I was lying on the bed when Lena came in.

Hey bestie, she said hugging me.

I thought you said you were on your way so what keep you so long. I asked.

Am sorry, I had a flat tire, so I have to look for someone to fix it for me. she said.

Okay,so can we start now, I told her.

Not so fast, am hungry, I can't study with a empty stomach, she pouted her lips.

Silly, I know you will always ask for something to eat,so i bought pizza and orange juice, so can will start now, I asked.

Sure bestie, she said hugging me again.

I just shook my head.

ETHAN P.O.V.

I was busy with my phone when Eric came and sat beside me.

Ethan, can i ask you something, He said.

Okay, what it is, I asked.

Have you ever fallen in love before, Eric asked which makes me to laugh.

Seriously Eric, you know i don't do love things, I told him.

But can you advice me on love, he asked which makes me look at him surprisedly.

Wait,are you in love with someone, I asked.

I don't know Ethan, but as i saw her today, I felt something different inside of me he said.

Eric, My advised to you, don't fall in love because all girls are the same, I told him.

You sucked seriously, I will just ask Kira, for help he said and left the room.

What is wrong with him, Why he's so interested in love of a sudden. Well what ever i don't do love.

ERIC P.O.V

I went straight to Kira room, only for me to hear a loud laugh, what is going on here, I ignored it and knocked on the door. the door open revealing Lily.

Hi Eric, she said.

Hi Lily, where is Kira, I asked.

She is in the bathroom, she said smiling.

OKay, when she is out tell her to meet me in my room, I told her.

I will, before she could complete her statement, I left.

I went back to my room, and lie down on the bed. After five minutes Kira enter without even knocking.

What is wrong with you, can't you knock what if am naked, Ethan yelled.

And you are not, so why are you complaining, Kira said.

You're sick, Ethan blurted out and left the room.

Anyway why did you call me, Kira asked.

Sit down first, I told her.

Okay am sitted so what is it.she muttered.

What is it like to be in love, I asked her.

Why are you asking or wait, "Are you in love with someone" she asked gasping.

Can you be serious please, just tell me. I said.

Well,if you are in love with someone,there is the feeling you feel, from what you feel for other, you will feel different. Kira explained.

It that all, I asked.

What do you want me to tell you again, she replied.

Nothing, thanks you i said and kiss her cheek. So can I leave now, she asked.

Yes you can go, I told her.

I think Kira must be right, this is my first time feeling this way for a girl, I have never for once have this kind of feeling before.

** FRIDAY **

Ever since i saw Gabriella, at my place, I can't sleep without thinking about her each day.

Today is Friday and am thinking of making the first move to talk to her.

I brushed my teeth and took my bath, after that, I worn my uniform and shoe. I decided not to put on my tie, I want to be like others student today, I style my hair, when i look at the mirror, I smiled at what am seeing I did a good job on my hair, I took my bag and left the room.

I went to the dinning room every one was seated already even Ethan.

Good morning Dad, good morning mum, I greeted.

Good morning son they both answered.

I hope you slept well,dad asked.

Yes i did, I said trying to leave the dinning room.

Where are you going, won't you eat your breakfast,mum asked.

Am not hungry yet, I have to be in school now, there's something i want to do,I told her.

Eric, what is wrong with you, you barely eat this days,mum asked.

Nothing is wrong with me mum,I'm fine,so there is nothing to be worry about, I will see you later. I said kissing her cheek and left for school.

I got to school and saw few students were around, I went to the class and saw Gabriella seated alone no one was in class yet. I decided to approach her.

Hi, I said scratching the back of my head.

Hi, she said surprisedly.

I wanted to say something to her, but i couldn't.

Hi, Gabriella, I said that was not what, I wanted to say.

Eric,are you okay, she asked me.

I.. I.. am sorry for disturbing you, I said and left the class.

What's wrong with me,why can't i talk to her, anytime am around her, I feel nervous. What am I supposed to do now. I need to cool my brain. I thought and went to the garden.

When i reach the garden, I sat down on the bench there, thinking on what to do, when someone tap my shoulder. I turned only for me to see Mabel smiling at me.

What are you doing here, I asked.

I saw when you were coming here, I decided to follow you to keep you company,she blurted out.

As what, I asked.

Let say as your girlfriend she said grinning.

My what, I asked confusedly.

Your girlfriend, can't you see what am feeling for you, I really love you, Eric, please just give me a chance. Mabel said.

Are you done talking i asked.

Yes my love, before she could complete the statement, I dragged her out of the garden, I as drag her students started gathering to see what happening.

Listen to me, the next time, I see you close to me again, what i will do to you, you won't like it, I said and pushed her on the floor making her landed on her bum.

As I was about to leave i heard Mabel said,

I will never stop until I have you all to myself.

I just looked at her and left without saying a word.

This girl is really pathetic,who does she think she is, she better not cross my path or else I will make sure she regret ever knowing me.

I went back to the class to get my bag, when i saw Gabriella smiling at someone. Who could she be smiling with, when she bend down a little, I noticed a familiar face smiling at her too.

Wait is that not Ethan, what is he telling her that is making her smile like that. I wanted to interrupt them, when Kira, shouted my name.

Eric, she called.

Why are you screaming my name like that, I asked.

Please come with me,Lily just fainted,I need you to help me take her to the school clinic,Kira said panicking.

Where is she, I asked.

She is in the music room, she replied.

Let go, I told her.

we quickly went to the music room and saw many students surrounds Lily, I carried out immediately to the school clinic.

Nurse Jasmine saw us and came closer.

What wrong with her, Nurse Jasmine asked.

I don't know,we were both in the music room singing, when she started coughing and the next thing i knew she fainted. Kira muttered.

Eric put her down here Nurse Jasmine said pointing at the bed in the room.

I put her on the bed carefully and Nurse Jasmine started checking her.

After about fifteen minutes nurse Jasmine scribbling something on the file then she turned to me.

Eric, please can you call Lily parent there is something they need to know, nurse Jasmine told me.

okay,I will do that now, I dialed her dad number but it was not going through, I decided to call her mum and she picked up on the second ring.

Good morning Mrs Heather, I greeted.

Good morning Eric, I hope all is well. She asked.

Ma, it Lily, I replied.

What happens to Lily,she asked disturb.

She fainted and she is in the school clinic now,so i was asked to call you. I told her.

Okay I will be there in a jiffy, she said and hang up.

Her mum is on her way, so can i leave now, I asked.

Yeah you are free to go nurse Jasmine said.

Alright i told and left the clinic.
