There he was my one-year high school crush standing handsome as always, who I have been afraid to tell I have feelings for "veronica go tell him you like him" my best friend Silver whispers in my left ear

"I can't he has a girlfriend" Silver let out a sign of frustration before speaking

"And so you don't know if he like's you maybe more than his girlfriend you may never know" silver said, I let out a sign

"Silver you know am afraid of getting hurt and besides you know he has a girlfriend, speaking of the devil here she comes " Ummm Veronica I will get going now I don't feel like seeing are face she's the root of your unhappiness I might just beat her up

Getting to class I sat on my seat with mixed up emotions, fear of rejection, hate and love and wanted to cry I signed out of frustration.

"Here you go, "silver said stretching out her hand with a juice box

"Thanks," I said taking the juice box "You know V I don't understand you, you are the one that has a crush but doesn't want to admit your feeling, you are angry when he is with other girls I don't understand you I seriously don't.

"I am scared of being hurt" I finally said after a few minutes of being silent.

"Scared, I was until I admitted mine and guess what I am happy with Daniel yh I will admit I was scared of being hurt too at first but girl if you don't take up the responsibility of doing so who will or should I do it for you," Silver said.

"No" I shouted and drew myself attention from my other classmates before they continued with their business
