Walking into the class, all the girls and some boys screamed. It scared me at first but I controlled myself when I saw they were the ones.
"Gloria, how did you meet him? I have met different guys driving cars but not a wheel as expensive as that," Sophia said. I laughed confused about what she was talking about.
Slowly, as they were discussing, they elaborated what the car was by searching on it and other top cars in the world.
I was shocked to have entered one of the trendiest cars, not once but twice and hopefully thrice.
God, I was damn proud of myself. I even told everyone that asked me about him that he is my boyfriend.
The whole day, I didn't know what I was listening to, the teacher, or my thought which made my face consistently flush.
School hours were over and it was time to finally go home, I looked outside the window to see if his car had arrived at the gate but I didn't see it.
I and Amara came out finally to walk our way home but I was disappointed he didn't come.
"Why am I, maybe he did but not for me maybe for classy Sophia who was all over him," my mind battled.
"Hey princess," I heard his voice calling from behind as much as I wanted to turn, I also had to stop myself. I didn't want him thinking I was a cheap girl or a gold digger.
He drove closer but the sound of his car this time was different from how it was in the morning.
He drove his wheels routing, halting us.
Amara's mouth went wide open in surprise well I reserved mine.
He drove in a Lamborghini. It looks like a dream right in front of me. "Why should I say no to such a ride," I thought to myself waving at him as he lifted the door for me and Amara to enter.
Without hesitation, Amara rushed into the back site and I sat in front with him as he drove off.
"How was your day babe," he asked.
"It went well thanks for asking and thanks for the ride,' I greeted.
Amara giggles from the backseat calling Our attention.
"Hey Amara, how are you doing?" He asked.
"Am fine so you wouldn't have noticed me if not because I giggled," Amara responded.
"Gloria, you're very wired, I mean you and your boyfriend. The way you react when you're with him doesn't portray you love him. And you too, you look like a suitor to me and not a boyfriend," Amara said.
My heart skipped a bit when I remembered I told them he was my boyfriend, "what if he tells her the truth, I will be broadcast by the morrow," I muttered sweating from head to toe, the AC in the car, unable to stop me from sweating.
"Who told you she is my girlfriend?" Mac asked.
At this point, I felt cut, I felt stupid, and also felt like fainting.
"Gloria", who else would?" She replied."
"Wait a minute, what kind of trauma is that?" Amanda said as everyone on the table laughed.
"I feel your pain Gloria," I said.
"Can I continue or aren't you all interested in hearing anymore," Gloria said.
"Wait!" Everyone except Paul shouted.
"Please can you continue am getting a heart attack here," mom said.
"Subscribe to my channel then, I can't be telling you," she said trying to make keep us in suspense.
"Okay, I'll wash the plate tomorrow," I said as she smiles.
"Let me continue then but I'll skip time," she continues.
"He turned to me and noticed the way I stared at him.
"Ya, we are in a relationship but I asked her to keep it a secret, right babe," he said turning towards me.
"Right, am sorry," I said.
The 'am sorry' was understood differently by them, Amara thought I apologized for telling but rather, Mac knew it was because of what I told my friends about him.
"Don't be, it perfect," he replied smiling. This smile of his was annoying to me at the moment but I just hard to smile back.
"Aww, you guys are lovely, no girl would accept to keep her relationship a secret especially from her friends, why did you want her to keep it a secret? Is it that you have another woman out there?" Amara said trying to prove a point to me but I didn't see the point with her because we were not dating.
"Gloria knows I can't cheat on her, we are soulmates," he said.
I turned to look at him and how flamboyant he was.
"You can lie," I whispered as we both smiled.
"Today is a family get-together party, Babe can you make time and come?" He asked knowing I will not be able to say no In front of my friends.
I knew I wouldn't be allowed to go out at night then, so shake my head in refusal.
"I'll come, I really would like to meet your family," Amara said. He turns to me trying his best to convince me with his disappointed face.
"Alright, stop looking at me that way, I agree to come," I said as he smiled.
I didn't agree to go because of his face, it was because Amara had agreed to go even without a personal invitation.
I need to monitor my man well, oh sorry 'crush'.
The only problem I have now is how to go there in the evening with or without a permit.
We finally reached the house, he stops for us to step down, and came down with us too.
"Bye," I said waving at him as Amara went behind, pushing me towards him as I fell on his chest. My heartbeat was very fast as our body touched.
It's not his fault dough, it's Amara's.
I pulled myself out of his grip as he handed the paper to me.
"Do we still write letters in this age?" Amara asked.
"Do you know where I live?" Mac asked annoyed with the way Amara talked.
"It is the description of where he lives," I said trying to stop him from getting angry.
He smiled and went back to his car driving off.
