DON'T WAKE LUCKY

Tyler POV

my parents are back , am in the dinning room having breakfast ,at the same pressing my room ,I broke up with that yesterday idiot , am chatting with another girl ,Tinsley ,we haven't meet just online friends ,and am starting to like her .

"Tyler focus on your breakfast ,stop pressing phone, you can't do both at the same time "my mom nagged

"yes mum "I said but still chatting .

my mum went to the sitting room attends to dad then she came back to the dinning room

"oh what a disobedient child you are ,drop that phone right now "my mom ordered

"dear let him be , don't put pressure on him "my dad said from the sitting room.

"you are pampering him and he is getting so spoilt ,he doesn't listen to anyone again "my mum complained

Tired of the drama I stood up to leave for school but my mum stopped me "where do you think you are going ? "

"to school "I answered barely audible

Brielle came down stairs "Dad ,mom morning "she greeted

my mum ignored her greetings still focus on me .

"mum Brielle greeted you "I told her

"are you saying am deaf ,that I can't hear properly or what ?"my mum said angryly

"no mum, I was just trying to....." I was cut short by a hot slap from my mum .

"What was that? "Brielle shouted and ran to the dinning room .

"I won't accept such nonsense from my own kid "my mum yelled

Brielle came to me , saw the slap effect on my face "you are so wicked ,you have no right to slap him ,that's child abuse "Brielle yelled at my mum ,I took Brielle away from my mum ,she continued yelling ,saying things at her, I have to carry her outside .

Mum and Brielle aren't on the same boat , to choose between me and Brielle ,my mum will gladly choose me , though I might be rude, stubborn but she dislike Brielle ,note dislike not hate .

Brielle thinks of Mum as a lady just like her , so she always savage mum whenever mum crosses the line ,while my dad and I arent close , rather than school, home talks I don't discuss other things with him ,I love my mum more .

that's why whenever I need something ,I always go to her, I kinda dislike my dad but dad and Brielle are like couples , she loves Dad more.

I took Brielle to the car ,"big brother are you okay ?"

"yeah "

Brielle rubbed her hand on the slapped part "she is so cruel "

"don't say that Brielle "

we heard our parents yelling at each other ,my dad wasnt be happy with what my mum did ,after sometime dad came out also ,he entered his car and drove out.

"serves her right "Brielle said

"that's enough , focus on your new boyfriend and stop thinking about the slap incident "

Brielle blushed when I mentioned your new boyfriend but seriously is she okay? why is she blushing? .

I drove out to school.

Brielle POV

Big brother dropped me at my school and drove off to his school .

I feel so strange like am new to the school ,I feel so uneasy .I went to the classroom ,am 30minutes late, the geography teacher is in class teaching ,I walked in "morning sir "I greeted

The teacher turned to me "Miss Shane why are you late ?"he asked

"am sorry sir "I apologize ,I can't tell him about what happened at home ,that's family business

" No reasonable excuse? , you will be punished ,write an essay , giving reasons for your lateness, apologizing and promise not to repeat it again "

"yes sir"I bowed

"3,000 words"

"sir?,three thousand words?"

"yes, now to your seat "

I went to my seat ,I sit with Carina

"hi Cari "I tapped her

" shush ,you gonna wake lucky "Carina whispered

"lucky? who is lucky ?"

"my lucky pen, she is tired ,she has been writing since ,let her rest " Carina showed me the blue lucky pen on her book .

Really ? lucky was her pen ,but seriously how did I met this weird girl , where did she come from ,perhaps she fell directly from the sky .

"oh I see ,rest well lucky "I told Carina

"thanks ,shush no more noise ,she might wake up "

The geography teacher taught and left , the bell rang for morning break .

Mia and Mandy came to me ,the class became noisy .

"Brielle ,what happened? why were you late ?"

"yes Brielle ,are you okay ?"

"shshsh no noise ,don't wake lucky "Carina told them .

we all looked at her ,"stop starring at me "she whispered

"Something came up at home "I said

"okay, but you should have told the geography teacher ,he might consider you and not punish you "Mia said

"no its about my home, my personal life ,I can't tell him "

"please stop the noise , let Lucky rest "Carina yelled aloud to everyone in the classroom .

The noise paused ,the whole class stared at Carina ,then resume their noises .

"great ,they won't allow poor lucky to sleep "Carina lamented .

"come on girls ,let's go have fun "Mia said

we all packed our books in our lockers ,Carina wrapped her pen with an handkerchief and placed it in her lock saying "sleep well lucky "

We walked round the school gisting ,Mandy is having a party in her house, she invited all of us but I don't think I will go ,my parents don't like parties .

my friends convince me to come , they suggested I should talk to my dad , they don't want me to miss out .

we also talked about Liam ,"what reply are you giving Liam" Mia asked

"did you think deeply about it ?"Mandy asked

"girls relax , I spoke with my brother ,he advised me ,he even approved it "

"he did ? wow ! "Carina said

"my brother won't allow such a thing , he will scold me instead "Mandy said

"why won't he allow it, its my life , beside my brother loves me he won't push me into doing something bad "

"so you are saying yes?"Mia asked

"of course"

"yay "Mia and Mandy jumped

"how are you gonna tell him ?" Mia asked

"I don't know?"

"you don't ?"Carina was surprise

"don't worry ,we are here for you ,now start with hi ,well with what you told me yesterday, about being your girlfriend, I thought deeply about it then you pause, swing your hair to the left "Mandy said demonstrating , I repeated what Mandy said following her moves

"then you continue , you aren't that bad and I found out that I like you ,so I want to be your girlfriend, that's all" Mia added

"really ,are you sure its gonna work like this ?"I asked

" also maintain eye contact "Carina said

I practised the steps ,memorizing the words .

Carina turned back "speaking of the devil "

"what ?"I turned and behold I saw Liam at my back

"OMG ! was he here the whole time !"

hahaha imagine Brielle reaction ,practicing the words meanwhile the person she is practicing for was at her back all along .
