Chapter 3 Escape plan gone wrong

Gabriella walked to and fro, she didn't what Lisa would be discussing with him.

A notification popped in her phone, when she opened the message, she was shocked to the teeth.

"Oh, no!" She ran to his room. When she opened the door, she saw them.

Lisa wasn't putting a top on, she was coughing so hard.

What could be wrong.

"Ella, what have you done?" His cold voice penetrated into her ear.

She knew he was talking to her, and the reason was because she didn't knock.

"I...i... Am sorry"

Lisa was forced by him to take a drag from the cigarette, it made her coughing to increase.

He was about forcing her to take another drag when Gabriella barged in.

"What was so important that you have to take those unattractive leg of yours into my room, without knocking?" His voice becoming more cold as he walked to Ella.

"It's... It's...."She stuttered as she moved back.

He stopped walking and turned his back.

Lisa watched the drama happening live in front of her.

She didn't have a proof, but she noticed something was definitely wrong with the master and Ella - it wasn't because she didn't knock, there was something else.

"What happened?" He asked, softly now.

"It's Amelia" The fear in her voice made him know that something was wrong.

"What happened to her? Did she get the package? What happened?" He rushed his words.

Lisa chuckled softly, so Mr 'master' can also be afraid. Where are his boldness and courage?

"She didn't get the package, she was outsmarted. Some other men took the package from her" She informed, gaining a scoff from him.

"Amelia can never be outsmarted, never! In this game.... Put her on the line" He picked his Bluetooth and wore it on his ear and went to sit on his bed.

For the few minutes she had been with him, she had never seen him so angry.

Ella also wore her Bluetooth, she walked to a table in the room, and typed something on the laptop placed there.

"Amelia, what happened?" Ella asked. "Come back home! I repeat, come back home!..... Amelia, do you copy?".

"Amelia, fall back home! Take the next flight. Do you copy?" He said.

The 'Amelia' could hear them, she could communicate with them.

Lisa watched as they spoke in military language.

Her supposed master removed the Bluetooth from his ear and threw it away.

"The Bluetooth isn't the cause of your problem, okay" Lisa didn't make the mistake of saying it out.

"The money, was it in euro or in dollar?" He asked Ella.

"Dollar. Sir" Ella quickly replied.

He walked to a drawer, opened it, and brought out a gun.

Lisa didn't know what to call the gun, it was a short one. She wasn't familiar with guns.

"Oliver, please calm...." Ella stopped talking when she noticed she just called his name without any formalities "So - Sorry. Boss" She corrected herself.

"Get the boys ready, Ella. We are going to hunt" His voice sounding so deadly.

"I think we should wait for Amelia.... Or, do you know the people that took the money from her?" Ella asked, trying not to sound offensive.

"Just. Inform the others" He was near the door, but the he stopped and turned to his shoulders. "Lisa, you will be coming along".

Ella brows squeezed.

What?

"Mais monsieur, elle vient d'arriver. Et en plus, elle n'en sait rien (But sir, she just arrived. And besides, she knows nothing about it" Ella said, speaking French. She didn't want Lisa to hear what they were discussing.

"Laissez-moi m'inquiéter à ce sujet. Je viens de lui payer une énorme somme d'argent, je m'en fous qu'elle meure là-bas ! (Let me worry about that. I just paid her a huge amount of money, I don't fucking care if she dies out there!) His French wasn't fluent, it obvious that he borrowed the language.

"Je ne peux pas croire ce que vous faites. J'aurais juste souhaité qu'Amelia soit là, elle n'aurait pas accepté ces bêtises ! (I can't believe what you are doing. I just wished Amelia was here, she wouldn't have agreed to this nonsense!)" Ella loss her cool.

The next thing she received was a slap.

Lisa's eyes widened. She couldn't understand what they were talking about, so she didn't know why he slapped her.

"Ne pense pas parce que je... je me suis trompé avec toi, tu peux me parler comme tu veux. Amelia ne devrait pas être au courant de cette erreur. Le jour où tu ouvriras la bouche, ce jour serait le jour de ta mort, compris! (Don't think because I ... I made a mistake with you, you can talk to me the way you want. Amelia shouldn't know about that mistake. The day you open your mouth, that day would be your death day, got it!)" He glared at her, while Ella held her cheek.

" Yes sir" She replied and nodded her head.

He was about to leave when his phone rang.

He answered the call and after talking to the caller, he hung up and walked back - to sit on his bed.

"Lisa. Leave us" He said, his anger calming down, as his voice was soft this time around.

Lisa nodded gently, she walked out of the room.

'The lion is pushing me out of his den' She thought to herself, and smiled.

The atmosphere of the room became tensed, as no one spoke to each other.

The sound of the wind could be heard blowing leaves.

Oliver sighed, he stood up and walked to meet Ella.

Gabriella was just staring at the floor, when she felt someone present in front of her, without being told she already knew who it was.

"I am sorry" She heard him mumbled.

That wasn't the first time he was laying his hands on her and apologizing, she didn't have a choice than to always accept his apologies.

"I have heard those words lots of times. I was just trying to help. Taking that girl into the field without training would be dangerous, she might get killed, and..." Slowly she lifted her gaze up to stared at his blue eyes.

"And the money you said you paid her will be to waste. We can't just trust her like that, you haven't even done the needed...."

Getting bored of Amelia preaching, Oliver quickly cuts in. "Everything will be fine. I know what to do, now go and do what you have to do....Just as you predicted, Amelia told me not to take any drastic step till she returns. So for now, we should focus on another big mission".

She understood every of his words, and after nodding her head, she walked out of his room.

Lisa stared around the big house, not knowing how to escape, she hissed in frustration.

Two men walked passed her, they were strict looking.

Suddenly they stopped walking and turned to her.

"Looking for something?" one of them asked her.

Since she was inside the house already, they needed not to worry about who she was, because only people that are part of them are allowed into the house.

"Um... I... The boss sent me on an errand, he wants me to tell the men outside the gate to be alert, something is wrong. And that was where I was going before I met you guys" She instantly cooked a story.

If the men believes her story, then she would finally escape.

"The boss doesn't send such errands. If he wanted to speak to those men, he would had used the intercom" The man raised his brow. "I want the truth, where were you looking for ?".
