Chapter 4 Persistence

LUCA'S POV

I sat on my seat looking hopelessly as Jayden kissed my girlfriend.

While I do nothing, not like I didn't want to retaliate but they held me down and my strength is no match for them.

I watched as Rhoda struggled trying to pull herself away from the beast but all her efforts proved abortive.

Lucious, my wolf growled moving around furiously inside me, growling and threatening to burst out but he knows better to as not to get killed.

The pack members of Darkmoon pack are the most powerful and dangerous wolves and Jaden and his friends are from the Royal bloodline.

I couldn't stand against ordinary blood what more of royal bloods.

Their wolves would devour mine at a snap of the finger. I am not ready to lose Rhoda to this son of a b**** so I would fight back when the time comes.

Two months from now, she would turn 18 and all of these would be over after I mark her.

He disengaged from her, after kissing her for a while. he smirked and left the cafeteria with his friends.

I looked up at Rhoda who was crying profusely as Rose consoled her.

I hate myself for not doing anything,

For not fighting for her.

For allowing Jayden kiss her in my presence and I did nothing.

I hate myself for seeing her tears. she had to loose her first kiss to someone who she hates and I; her acclaimed boyfriend couldn't do nothing.

I stared at her and not been able to bear seeing her tears, I stood up leaving the cafeteria.

I walked towards the garden, my favourite place with Rhoda and sat on the bench. I picked up a purple orchid, Rhoda's favourite flower and gazed at it.

"Luca" I heard her voice call from behind my back and I close my eyes not wanting to look her in the face. I felt so stupid and weak.

"look at me Luca" she said crying more and I looked up avoiding her gaze.

"Luca" she called and hugged me tightly whimpering in my arms and I held her and patting her back.

"I hate him Luca, I hate him so much" she cried hugging me more tightly.

"He torments me, Humiliates me, make me do all sorts of punishments, Accuses me and now he stole my first kiss Luca" she wept and I could feel her heart was shattered.

Taking a deep breath, I gently lifted her up and my heart sanked when I saw how dejected and broken she looked.

I held her face and wiped her tears. It's taking a whole lot of strength and control from me not to break down in tears.

I stroked her face and pecked her forehead rubbing her hair.

Slowly she calmed down. "I love you Rhoda. I love you and I'm going to love you despite whatever happens but promise me you would never let him have you" I said to her and she looked up hitting my arms lightly.

"You know I would never do that I hate him so much; His steps, annoys me, his smell and his face, I hate him so much that I feel like strangling him" she said and I smiled.

What of me? I grinned and her lips stretched into a huge smile.

"Of course you know I love everything about you" she said and I smiled.

"What and what do you love about me" I asked.

"Your cute face,your kindness the way you care about me and most especially the way you loved me" she said and I smiled holding her close to myself.

"oh how I love this lady" I muttered and she giggled and placed her head on my chest.

JAYDEN'S POV

"Mehn that was fire" Jack exclaimed as we entered our private room.

"Yeah I love the guts" Jordan chirped in.

"I smiled feeling happy as I finally got to kiss her sweet lips in front of her boyfriend.

Her lips tasted like strawberry, making me want more.

"Did you see her boyfriend's look" Jordan asked and we laughed.

"He looked like he would devour a lion when he can't even raise a finger" Jake said.

"Too bad his strength are no match for us"Jordan said.

"Weak Alpha to be" I said and we all laughed.

I couldn't deny it though, I felt a spark as I locked lip with Rhoda which was new.

Throughout my years of escapades with women, I had never for once felt any sort of electric spark as I kissed but Rhoda was different.

Kissing her made me feel as though I had never tasted it before and the urge to have her right there and then was much.

I had to control myself and pull away before I would do anything stupid.

"I felt a spark when I kissed her" I said to the boys and their eyes widened.

"Do you think she might be your mate? Jake asked.

"yes remember you have not found your mate since you turned 18 a year ago, she might be the one" Jordan uttered and looked at me.

"Naah! I don't think so, that only happened because I had been rejected by her countless times which didn't happen with other girls so I guess that sparked up the excitement in me for having to have kissed her" I said and they both shrugged.

Once I get her into my bed, I would kick her and go after another I concluded.

"I heard Lisa is coming back" Jordan said and I scoffed.

Lisa was my ex-girlfriend. well I didn't consider her as one though. she just happen to follow me around sticking her face everywhere I go so people considered her as my girlfriend.

I got tired of f****** her and told her off.

"I don't care about her; whether she comes back or not it's none of my business I said and Jake laughed.

But dude you damaged her real well" Jordan said and we all laughed.

"She was loose, what do you expect from a loose bitch" I retorted.

"I don't think she would be letting you go sooner now that she would be coming back, who knows if you are the main reason she was coming back for"Jordan said and I scoffed.

"She's past tense and if she worries me too much I will just continue to f*** her till I find my mate I said and they both laughed.
