Time: A month later

Location: Michelle's Abode

(They all applauded...!!!)

''Oh my godd!!!! Really girls? Thank you ladies. Thank y'all for coming, I really appreciate the kind gesture. And for the fact that y'all ditches your various classes so you could celebrate my big day with me, I'm so flabbergasted and honored. I appreciate y'all.

I love you Melissa, I love you Cassandra, I love you Katerina, I love you Abigail. You guys are the best, I am so fortunate to have you all in my life. And thank you all for gracing me with your presence''

I said with teary eyes and they all hugged me warmly.

Today is my birthday. After talking to my Dad, Mom, Mickey (Micheal) and Gabby on phone, i decided to come downstairs and grab a cookies from the kitchen with the thoughts that my friends already left for school but what I saw really stunned and struck dumb me with astonishment and surprise. My friends organized a surprise get together party in the living room for me with few of our course mates present.

I was unaware of the whole thing guess that is why it's called a 'surprise'. The living was well decorated with delicacy. A cake and lots of wrap gifts were placed on and down the table.

This is so beautiful, thanks babes. 'I added.'

Nah Michy, you don't have to thank us. What have we done. You deserve much better than this compare to all you had done for us. 'Melissa stated'

Yeah babe, this is nothing compare with all the loves and supports you've shown us. You're a good person, and you deserve more good things. So stop thanking us and grab the fuvkin knife. it's time to cut the cake.

'Abby added and they all nodded in agreement'

Cassie quickly reach for a cake knife and passed it to me.

Okay guys, let's sing a birthday song for her and say 'Happy Birthday Michelle, We LOVE YOU' altogether before she cut the cake.

'Kate said and led the birthday song and they all sang along and Melissa started recording and perhaps take pictures with her phone.'

We all ate from the cake and started playing some games. Everyone presented their gifts and we take some pictures. We're still in the living room partying and dancing and the door bell rings.

(ding dong....)

Did you ladies prepared a second surprise for me? 'I asked curiously and they had a dazed expression on their faces'

'They said looking confused' No oo!

I'll get it. 'Kate said and walk to the door, signed a paper and brought in a package and said'

Michelle, someone sent you a package.

Really!! What is the name of the sender? 'I asked and she handed the package to me while grinning. I collected it and check the sender's name and a smile appears on my face'

'Both Cassie and Abby asked eagerly'

It's from my boo, Blaze. 'I replied and they boom with excitement'

Headache for who has no boyfriend...

I ignore there teases and unwrap the gift. There's a set of jewelry, chocolates and a camera in the box. I feel so dawn and disappointed. On a norms, am always contented with whatever Blaze gave me not that I was expecting any gift from him though but things has been changing dramatically lately ever since I met Jefferson I don't understand myself anymore.

Talk of the devil, I didn't go to bed early last night because i was on phone with Jeff, we always talk on phone every night and it became an addiction. He has apologized to me severally for what he did the day at the restaurant and I had forgiven him. He called minutes before midnight my birthday and when it was midnight sharp he wished me a happy birthday. We talked for some minutes more before we said our goodbyes. I notice my friends are now looking at me and I decided to fake a smile.

'Wow! This is beautiful.'

Yeah! The jewelry looks so nice and beautiful. 'Abby added'

But babe, what the hell. Why would he gifted you a camera? Camera for what exactly! Are you into photography because I'm confused. 'Melissa complained'

Why are you so worked up with what doesn't concern you after all, did she complain to you ah! 'Cassie sneered at Lisa'

Whatever bingo! 'Melissa shrugged'

Real men do gifted their girlfriends feminine things on their birthday. My thought though. 'Kate opined'

Okay, is jewelry not feminine enough? What of the chocolate packs! Huh! Why are you girls so pathetic. 'Abby said'

Ladies that's enough. Blaze is my boyfriend and the gifts is for me. Did I ever complain to you guys? I'm contented with whatever my boo gifted me. In addition to that, I talked about camera with him the last time we went out. So here it is TADA! 'I cautioned and they heaved a deep sigh'

(Ding dong..)!!! 'Door bell rings'

I will get that. 'Melissa said and walks to the door'

Oh my goddddd!!! Babes!! 'Melissa screams and comes in with some people in corporate dresses carrying flowers, lots of gift boxes in their hands and musical instruments like drum sets, musical keyboard, trumpet, piano, classical guitar and saxophone. They started playing the instruments and we are all in a complete awe.

Even without saying, I already knew who did all these to surprise me. It's none other than Jefferson. That sly Smirker, he really knows how to make a woman blush. ''I said mutely and blushed. The sounds of the their giggles brought me out of my thoughts. That's when I realize the music has stopped''
