"Okay" She muttered lusciously while Skylar sighed and tried focusing on her meal.
The dining has always been that way - just Skylar and her kid. It actually wasn't easy tho as her kid could be really troublesome during meals. Despite the varieties on the table, she still needed something that wasn't available.
Well, Skylar was thankful it was weekend and she could have the whole day to get some rest. Although, she still had some leftover work to do, but it wouldn't be as tedious as it would've been at the office.
Just then, the doorbell was heard and noting Emilia was nowhere in sight, Skylar decided to check it out herself.
"I'll be back, honey" she said to Tasha before standing up and walking to the door.
Her designers slippers which complimented her red pastel pajamas didn't make any disturbing sound as Skylar got to the door and on opening it, her eyes counted two men standing in front of her.
Oh! One was familiar as she knew him to be Emilia's brother, but the other young man was someone she'd never met before.
"Leo" she moved her ruffled hair backwards as she stepped away from the opened the door.
"Good morning, Ma'am Skylar" Leo greeted immediately with a slight bow which was more chummy than orthodox.
"Good morning Ma'am" Jayceon emulated his friend, having an affable expression on. He had some garden tools with him - tools he was able to lend.
"Yeah.... Good morning" Skylar gave a head-to-toe glance at him before returning her gaze to Leo.
"How're you doing, Leo? You here to see Emilia?"
"Uhm... Not really. Emilia actually called me last night and told me you needed a gardener. So, I brought my friend" Leo replied beamfully and Jayceon increased his brightness.
"Oh,I see. You know him, right? Cause I wouldn't want anyone ruining my garden" Skylar asked Leo, although her eyes were pinned on Jayceon like she was talking to him.
"Yes, yes, I trust him real good" Leo bobbed his head in confidence and just then, Emilia showed up at the door.
"Oh, ma'am! He's here already" she boggled.
"You didn't tell me you were here, Leo...."
"It's fine... it's fine. I think he should just get to work immediately" Skylar cut in and left afterwards, walking back in.
Jayceon had a light smile on his face as he watched the young boss walk away.
Wow! The house was so beautiful and impressive - a two storey building, german-floored, parking lot containing some really flashy cars, a resting shade... How was such a young lady able to own all these?
Well, according to Leo, she was running one of her father's companies in the city. And it was a good thing he'd be working for her as he was sure of getting a good pay at the end of the day.
"What's your name, please?" The short lady in front of him asked.
That was Leo's sister, but Jayceon didn't really know her.
"Jayceon". He replied, inserting his both hands in his trouser pockets. And for a second, he could swear he saw some sparkles in her eyes.
"Uhm....Okay, Jayceon" she itched the back of her neck, mousily.
"Please, come with me. I'll show you to the garden".
She took the lead while Jayceon followed after bidding goodbye to his friend.
Jayceon's eyes wouldn't stop going round the house even as he walked behinds the short lady dressed in a nanny uniform. What a mansion - he thought. Hopefully someday, he'd have so much money and build such house for Mila and his son.
They finally got to the sparkling garden and Jayceon was bedazzled at it's beauty - wow.
The small space was filled with colorful flowers that wavered and produced an airy floral perfume; it looked really heavenly.
The boss really loved flowers, huh?
"This is it" Emilia turned to him and said.
"Please make sure you do a good job so you can get a bonus from my Madame". She was smiling sheepishly and itching her nape.
"Sure, thanks" Jayceon bobbed.
"You're welcome, handsome" She answered with a grin that made him see her fangs and walked away.
Okay.... What the heck was that? Jayceon scoffed as he watched her leave.
He shook his head and turned back to the garden. And taking a deep breath, he set out to work.
