Chapter 4 Bachelor party

Ryder's pov.

It was the weekend again and I was working on my laptop when my phone rang.

Bella was calling me. I smiled when I saw her number.

Running a multi-million company kept me busy even on weekends. I managed to build my own company at such a young age all because of my hard work and dedication. But I did manage to hang out with friends on weekends, going out in clubs and fucking some chicks. I loved enjoying my life to the fullest.

But this weekend I had to work on an important deal. So I was at home.

"What happened Bella ? " I asked curtly while working on my laptop.

"You were supposed to pick me up. I am still waiting for you for half an hour." Bella yelled through the phone speaker.

Oh shit. I forgot because of this important deal. I had to attend Alex's bachelor party this weekend. And ofcourse it was a bachelor party but I was taking my baby girl with me. I wasn't going to attend that without her and Alex invited her as he was also fond of her. She wasn't a typical girl but a tomboy. She enjoyed hanging out with my friends.

"Stay there, I'm coming." I quickly changed into jeans and blazer and grabbed my car keys without wasting a second and ran out of the front door.

I was not able to focus on work as it became a ritual to see her on weekends. I waited eagerly for the weekend. So I could see her bubbly smile. She was such a vibrant person. She used to brighten my house with her laughter and her sweet voice .

When she filled me in about her entire week in her sweet voice, I loved that. I had never met a girl like her who never threw any tantrums or wanted anything from me. Our friendship was so pure and selfless.

I missed her bright eyes that shone when she talked with her childish excitement . She was such a kid. A smile formed on my lips as I thought about her. There was no way I was going to attend Alex's party without her.

I sped up my car. As soon as I reached her dorm, I hurried to step out of my car and ran inside the building. She was waiting outside her dorm room.

"Finally, you get the time to come." She rolled her eyes and said sarcastically.

"Alright , now if you're done taunting me, can we leave?" I was annoyed at her being a brat.

She didn't say anything but walked past me towards the parking lot.

We both drove towards the venue. After some time, we reached the club where Alex had thrown the party.

"Hey ,thanks for coming."Alex said, grinning.

"Nice party dude." I shook hands with him and hugged him to congratulate him.

"Congratulations Alex!" Bella said.

Alex pulled her into a hug. " Thanks Bella for coming."

I pulled Bella back possessively and wrapped an arm around her shoulder. Alex shook his head.

"Okay, let's come inside and enjoy the party." Alex invited us.

As soon as they headed towards a table, a hot girl came and jumped on me.

"Hey baby. Remember me?" She chirped.

"Yeah?" I said in confusion, but I actually didn't remember her.

"Looking forward to having fun tonight?" She said and pulled me to a corner. I looked at Bella. Bella gestured to me to go ahead.

Anonymous pov.

Bella sat alone at a table and ordered a soft drink for herself.

"Hey gorgeous. " A handsome stranger came over and sat across from her.

"Hey!" She smiled.

"Let me buy you a drink." He grinned and Bella nodded.

After some time, Ryder managed to get rid of that girl who was pestering him to take her home. But he came with Bella and couldn't leave her alone. When he returned to the table where he left Bella to sit, he couldn't find her there. He panicked to see she wasn't anywhere around the party.

He searched for her everywhere but couldn't find her. He was about to leave to search for her outside , he saw her sitting on the floor in a lobby near the washroom.

Her body was shaking. She was sobbing and wiping her tears every time they came down on her cheeks. His heart hurt seeing her like that.
