"NEXT!" i heard again

"Go in" she said pushing me.

I entered the office it was so quiet. The air here was so cold.

"Sit!" he ordered. His voice was so hoarse, still echoing in my ear.

The boss closed his eyes and his head was lifted up, I thought he was meditating.

"What is your name?" he asked me still closing his eyes.

"Ashlyn shor sir"

"Your voice seems familiar, do i know" he said, before opening his eyes to look at me. I was still admiring the beauty of the room when he said.

" You?!"

Hey I was shocked ,it was that reckless driver from yesterday morning. "Hehe..." I smile with my teeth in full view.

"You little imp, what are you doing here, you had this guts to appear in front of this building?" He asked. He was looking directly into my eyes, making me feel awkward, I think of begging him for mercy, won't that make me a begger?

"Who gave you this job?" He asked, I'm about to answer when he says, " You can't work as an assistant to the accounting manager, you're not fit for the job. Leave before i ask the security to throw you out!"

The most painful word 'you're not fit for the job' who told him that? He hasn't let me show my talent. As much as i wanted to pull his hair right now, i had to beg, or my aunt will laugh at me. she always find a way to make mockery of me.

"Bu... But sir you haven't interviewed me ,yet you say am not fit for the job. Won't you-" he interrupted for the, I dunno know. I lost count for how many times he has interrupted me.

" I said GO OUT SIDE!" he said word by word.

I picked up my file and stood up. Anyway, who wants to work here? He's a fool and I won't work in a company owned by a fool. (Sneer)

As i approached the door, he spoke aloud. "who's paying for my car's damage? Told you I'll get youand look here, I didn't have to find you, you came back like a little rabbit.

"I don't have any money. Im broke" I answered "if i can get a job, I'll try to pay back. And dont complain if i pay you in change." i answered blowing my nose, I felt like crying, he blew up my dream or should I say my stupidity?

He gave a quick glance at the already blown me. I look so pitiful now. Hope my tears isn't seen by him "You're not fired." He said. I watched as He got up to the shelve and took in a bunch of files

"I'm removing you from the accounting manager assistant to be my assistant, I want to keep an eye on you."

I wiped my face with my hand. "Really? Thank you sir."

"dont thank me, half of what you earn every month will go for my car's repair, after you've paid the full money ,I'll fire you".

"Do I still have to pay you? Then I won't work." I say. I can only pay him when I'm married, my future husband will be paying all the debt his lovely wife owes. 'Me'

"Keep quiet, you Don't have a choice".

I walked out of the office grumbling. am not sure he's rich ,acting like a poor man, he's asking me to pay for a cheap car glass. Hope he hears what I say and feels guilty to ask me yo pay.

A bunch of people where waiting for me to get out.

"what did he say? what did he say?" two girls rushed to me and ask.

"He said ,I should start working as his assistant from now on".

"You're Dead" someone said.

"why? how?" i asked.

"He is a nagging boss, and his complains would frustrate you".

"Not really!" I smirked while saying aloud... I'm sure he would let me go after I'm done with him. I will make him tired of me.

I packed my bag and went to his office, i stood at the door, waiting for him to let me come in.

After standing for a long while i asked "sir may I come in?" He's ignoring me, I wonder what sort of person he is.

"I thought you were going to stand there the whole day, you know, i would also love that you know?"

I grumbled "people with bad character".

"miss shor, what did you say?"

"Nothing, i asked what do I call you?" I lied. I'm a little liar.

"Am your boss so think of what you call your boss?" He answered rudely.

I thought of a way for him to get tired of me.I may fire him from his own office come to think of it, i can keep him bed ridden.

'Serious Ashlyn, you're at work" my subconscious scold.

He went to the shelf and brought out a lot of file.

"Take, review all this before 4pm and write a report to me as soon as you're done"

"All these work before 4? this is too much for me!"

"you don't have any right to complain or question me. I'm boss " he said and walked out of the office.

this is too much, am not doing any of it, I'll just leave it ,He'll really be mad at me then he can just say "miss shor get out of my office" then I'll go back to being the account manager's assistant. That would Be the greatest for me.

I was in the office alone throughout no sign of him, I had in fact a lit of questions to ask about these files but he is not here. After turning round the office, I feel dizzy plus in so hungry and I don't have a dime In me to buy any lunch.

The couch looks pretty good and soft. I arranged myself in the couch and dosed off... My main bad habit.
