Maia pov.

I woke up with my phone on my pillow, I smiled as I got up and went out to see Nu Yan. I looked at him and said what happened now? "I found out why he hates you, but I want to hear you say it's not true. I'll believe it." Nu Yan it's... It's an adult thing, I said to him. "You were ten, ten God damn it, Maia you were ten. He's a fucking monster."

I couldn't say anything, Craig came in from his morning run looking at me and Nu Yan. "What is going on?" He asks and Nu Yan gets upset. "Did you know?" He asked and Craig looked up at him! "Nu Yan" He said! "I'm asking you if you knew?" He asked angrily. Craig looked at me and I nodded in confirmation.

"Nu Yan, you can't butt in where adults are concerned." Craig said to him! "So you knew what he would've have done if she hadn't ran away, and you fucking did nothing but you consider yourself a friend." He said angrily, pointing at Craig. "I was only twelve then and what was I supposed to do? Kill him?" Craig asked.

"Yes, that would've been great. I can't believe I'm carrying his DNA, how could they?" Nu Yan!!! I called out to him as he ran past Craig and through the door. "I bet they told him on purpose, are you sure that woman is your mom."

I was adopted. My real mom died giving birth to me, I think though my father is my father, I don't understand why she does the things she does? I said. "Really?" Craig asked! Really what? I requested it! "You're adopted!" He said and I asked him. Did you read the files I sent you last summer?

"No, I thought those were photos of Kaleb so I burned it, they were no address or who it was sent from." He said. I slapped myself on the forehead as I did, I remember Nu Yan ran out. Let's about this later. I said as I grabbed a pair of shoes and ran out looking for him. He would go to places I once took him when he's upset.

But for the past three hours running around half naked at that, I couldn't find him. In a thin silk nightwear, I'm on the street looking for him and not finding him. How could they? I cried out. He's just a fourteen years old kid, how could they? I ask myself as I remember the river I took him once three years ago before leaving.

However, I heard no one goes there anymore. I will just look first. I got there after running for quite some time I looked around and there was nothing, fear slowly takes over me as I wonder if he'd do something stupid like hurting himself. I look over at the place where one would jump from if they were going to take a swim.

I walked over there and started looking out when I saw his hoodie floating around in the water, without a second thought I immediately dived off in the water searching for him, still nothing. I couldn't find him no matter how hard I tried, I continued to swim around looking for him until I was starting to get tired. I came up with his hoodie. I was looking around for a sign or something else for him but nothing.

Liam pov.

I was in the shower when my phone rings suddenly, I looked at it and it was Maia immediately I grabbed the phone up and answered it. Hello. "This is your chance, I think. She's going to need someone if she lasts him" Craig, are you on drugs? I asked him and he said,

"Nu Yan found out something he shouldn't and ran out then she followed him shortly, I can name a few places they might go find her." I hung up and stepped out of the shower hurried into some clothes and left, I was looking for her for quite some time though all the places I went to she wasn't there.

What could have caused them to go like that. I remember Craig said she wasn't in proper clothing before I hung up, so I brought my coat with me. I looked everywhere for her and then I reached for my phone to call her when I remember that she left her phone behind. The lake house, I remember him saying something about water.

She wouldn't go that far would she? Of course not, though it's only a thought but it killed me to think if something happens to her. I got in the car and drove off from my last stop. Soon I arrived at the place with a sign that said lake house, private property. Like anyone actually pays attention to that shit.

I walked around and entered the empty space of land. I walked around looking for her. I couldn't find her but then I saw her coming out of the water with a multi coloured hoodie in her hand, I texted Craig that I found her at the river and he said he was on his way. I walked over to her. She looked pale, tired and hot at the same time.

Wear a thin pink silk nightwear, water running down on her body as we walk to each other. "He's gone, how could they? How could they?" She asked, crying. It's okay, we will find him I promise you we'll find him. I said, putting the coat on her. "He's gone, what am I going to do. The only person I consider family is no more."

I just stood there holding her in my arms. Craig arrived and ran over to us asking, "What happened?" She asks, "How could they?" Craig rubs her back and says,"It's not your fault." Have you tried calling him? I asked. "Call the cops and report it, report all of it from the beginning, I'm going to sue them if anything happens to him."

She said in anger. Craig took out his phone and I asked him for Nuyan number While I called Nuyan phone, Craig called the cops and then Nuyan phone started ringing and she let go of me immediately. I didn't want her to let go sigh. We follow the sound of the phone. This kid was sleeping peacefully in the fucking tree, like what the fuck?

"BAI NU YAN." She yelled at him and he woke up suddenly, almost fell from the tree. 你这个小混蛋,我要杀了你.(Nǐ zhège xiǎo húndàn, wǒ yào shāle nǐ.You little bastard, I am going to kill you.) She yelled at him, he looked at me and smiled, I'm not sure what that was but if it gets me in trouble.

I won't let him go for it, I'm not trying to get kicked where grass grows without sunshine. I backed up away from her slowly. She turned around, looked at me, then looked back at him and said, "Come down here, let me kill you at this moment. Do you know how worried I was? (Nǐ.You.) I thought something happened to you, come here right now."

He kept looking at her until tears started running down his face and I got concerned and walked up to the tree. I told him. It was okay, and that he should come from there. He got down after a minute. He walks over to her and she hugs him and starts smacking him softly.

"Do you know how scared I was, I thought I lost you. You rude full child I thought you left me." She said crying! "对不起." He apologized and she hugged him tighter. I saw her cry for the first time although I wish to make it her lost. It's a promise I might not be able to keep. She let him go and asked me how I knew where she was?

"I called him and told him." Craig said to her. She asked Nuyan why was his hoodie in the water? He told her he didn't like it because it was bought by their mother. She looked away and said. "Right! Let's go, I have work to go." They left me standing with Craig. I will slap that look off your face for you it will never happen, again, not even in your next life.

I said as I stood there just looking. "I mean you came looking like that for her and she's not even your girl." He said and I looked at him and said not yet! But you and I? Never. I said to him as I walked away and he followed. "Admit it, you want all this. Stop lying to yourself it will only hurt you more."

He said confidently.o stopped and turned around to him. Oh yeah, cause if so I was, I would be on top at all times. I said to him as I looked up at him with his mouth wide open looking at me in shock. If you can't handle my words, how are you going to handle this?

I asked him as I put my hands in my packet and his eyes followed my hands then he ran past me to the car. See if I was gay you couldn't handle me but you always trying to flirt with me. I said as I smiled and walked to the car, I got in and he was seated behind me. I look back at him and he screams. "Ahh ''

Red red ask him what is it? "My body is being violated." She rolled her eyes and said, "Ain't nobody wants to see your body." She covered Nuyan's face. I started the car and drove away. After an hour I let them off and leave. It was almost noon, I texted her and told her to rest. I got home and mom scared the shit out of me.

I closed the door and turned around face to face inches apart. "What happened? Is it Maia? Is she okay?" Omg. It's not the question but the fact that she was there waiting for me like a ghost getting ready to scare the living life out of someone. I held my heart and tried to tell her red is fine but I couldn't get the words.

Oh man, why are you trying to kill me? I asked and she looked at me and said, "You're a man you should have a strong heart. Poor my Maia she found a weak hearted one." She said and I raised an eyebrow. You don't even know her! I said to her and she replied. "I'll soon."
