Chapter 5 Pain of a maid, heartbreak of a prince.

The lead guard had returned back his room and to his surprise saw the girl still on his bed but this time asleep. His intentions for her were still there but this time it wasn't as intense as it used to bed. Getting undress and sitting on his bed he pondered on how to do his suggested plan which the King had approved of as well as the

then lead Maid. He remembered the exact command the King had said "we have a period of 5 years to get this battle done and over with , I need you to get started with training an army of thousands all over Forshan and all it's sub kingdoms from now to the very day we set out towards Harshan." But the lead guard's authority wasn't enough to get all the guards and army forces to unite within this period so he suggested to the king to have the princes and crown prince help him mobilize the army forces since they were the prince and royal their authority would be more effective in reaching out easily to the citizen men and women who wishes to join the army. Within this period the princes who were still being trained had to move to their army zone areas and receive strong training of every army leader. This was the part the King had objected slightly. He wanted his crown prince closer to him and not the army, he wanted his prince raised for the entire Kingdom and not just army so he excluded him from that training grounds. He needed his crown prince trained far much more than that of his brothers and so he had other plans for him. On that said the preparation for the great battle was set and planned. They almost left when the king spoke again drawing the attention to a matter they almost didn't touch. "Leader of all the Maids, what is your plan?". At that moment, the elderly woman who thought she was off the hook got a hard time breathing out since she had no plans for gathering maids especially from the slaves since most mothers refuse to bring their daughters. " Your Majesty , I request for a day to come out with a plan, the mothers refuse to give out their daughters and I have sent people to convince them but they still refuse so please give me a...."

The king had cut her off and spoke very terrifying to her which made her almost cry to beg the king for her life although it wasn't demanded for. "You seem to have lost your brains to old age huh? " Get out and call me your second lead , you are disposed and retired from now on"...the soothing environment became too illegal for anyone to breathe out freely except for the king of course who was fuming with anger while seated on his throne of Majesty with a terrifying aura emanating from his body.

The older woman who almost got off from being killed still looked like she had been sentenced to death, walked out shamefully yet in a respectful manner and called for her former second in command. Once she came in and greeted the king, there was no response which made her understand the cold atmosphere which held a lot of silence yet rage. She just bowed until she heard the King speak " I want you to enlarge the number of maids across all the Kingdoms of Forshan, prepare them for Harshan and all it's sub kingdoms as well because Harshan will soon be subdued!... As his deep cold voice was done he rose up and all his guards arranged themselves in a professional manner for him to leave as they walked behind him securing him as always. With his presence gone the meeting was over. And now here the guard was back to his room with his desire not so strong as it was, he knew that she might change her mind the next day so he got up and tried to continue from where he finished only to stop at the thought of something else. If that new lead Maid was in charge, it meant he might get in trouble for what he's about to do with this girl or what he has been doing. The king had no idea about the dark invents that goes on in this part of his kingdom; the guards and maids' affairs. He had done so many evil with some other guards towards the maids who have been killed, executed and transfered. Most of the wronged maids were all from the slaves backgrounds but it seems some kind of changes might settle since the King is getting involved in this part. He witnessed how the lead Maid who have been in charge for all these years got disposed just within a matter of seconds, if what he has been doing comes out to the open he was ruined. He quickly thought of the evil means of escaping the worse, he could either push the blame on some involved and innocent guards or just form a good relationship with the new maids leader to have her put fear in the maids not to voice out what ever goes on here. He kept on thinking when the young girl woke up looking at him in a confused yet scared manner. " I want to do this quickly and see my parents, I am ready". After she said this, the guard just looked back at her and said the words he never dreamt or expected of saying to such an opportunity in his entire life. " I have a wife to be faithful to so leave and never mention of this to anyone". As shocked and confused as the maid was, she just stood up and went on her knees, please *sob* I want to see my parents* sob * please I beg of you to at least give me an exact to leave I am already passed as a Forshan and ..He interrupted her and all of a sudden dragged her by the hair and turned her to his table undressing her. He was out of control as to how to let her go without touching her."you are the one begging me to sex you so don't think of telling on me because only you will go down". On that said, he tore her underwear as the poor girl was confused yet thought he is only doing it to give her an approval. She had the painful experience of her life after the bastard after having a rough sex with her sent her away to never show herself to him , ever again. She lost her virginity to that beast thinking her ill mother was going to be seen again only for her efforts to be wasted. Her mother's condition was very critical and she had promised to bring them some healthy meal from the palace once she passes the test to become a Forshan. For some reason she was denied by the guards not to go out only for them to direct her to that bastard who kept on demanding for sex. She didn't know what to do now, her virginity was gone and her request wasn't granted. She was only slave turned maid turned Forshaian, who had no control over these cruel people. While she limped back to her room, she met one of her slave turned maid friends who helped her go back to the maid's room. One of the maid's who has been through this kind of misfortune looked at her sadly and didn't know what to do than to ask her of what happened. She was so dumbfounded after hearing everything her colleague told her. " How could that bastard do this to you?" she said and the another also spoke" we were allowed to go but you weren't?" Upon hearing that, her face turned pale as she didn't know of this at all. She would have gone far to the King's right hand men just to get away to see her poor mother and father. she had tried to see the prince before but couldn't get access to him since the King requested his presence and here she was feeling like a fool, used and deceived . The only hope Her broken heart had was the thought of seeing her parents one-day .

"I heard the evil leader of Maids has been changed, you can report this to the new one, am sure she will help you" . One of the maid's suggested. After thinking about it she also wanted to do so.

**Next morning**

The maid had caused a lot of commotion in the kingdom last night after reporting the events to the new lead Maid. After hearing the poor girl's story she forwarded everything to the Queen who later summoned all the people involved in this case. The leader of the guards had left with her Son at dawn to somewhere the king instructed so she allowed the girl involved to go see her parents. Upon arrival she felt so happy but was at the urge of passing out when she found out her mother had died and her father had committed suicide right beside her. She now understood why her heart was never at ease throughout yesterday and even went ahead to give out her virginity. The poor girl walked to the graves of her parents after the villagers helped her bury them and after crying she moved towards the river without anyone going with her. Once she reached, she cried for the last time and uttered the words" forgive me my Prince but our story will only be possible in another life." After saying this, she let herself fall into the river.

*Afternoon***

"Sheyah" "Sheyah"...Mother! Mother! she dead, she's dead, she's dead, sheyah kept on crying and pointing to the dead girl floating on the river. Her mother finally reaching screamed and pulled her daughter away from the sight. She saw her daughter moving to the river but feared something bad might happen to her only for her to follow her to find a floating dead body close to her daughter's direction. "Sheyah let's move from here" ...she hastily held her daughter and moved to call the villagers to withdraw the dead girl from the river. After the villagers arrived and found out who she was they had the worst heartbreak of their lives to know of who she really is. They wished they didn't know because the pain in their hearts was too much. She was the daughter of the poor family who went through a tragic dead end. They knew she had no one but they were ready to accept her, if only they knew she was going to end her life at the river, they would have sent her back to the palace.

The state of the maids in the palace wasn't any different and so was the Queen's state. Her heart was broken as to how such a sad event can befall an individual. The girl was the same age as her son but what she didn't know was known to her when her son came in to look at the rumored suicide maid and what led to her death. Walking close to the dead body he became stiff and didn't move. Seeing his very first love lying down without smiling or moving. The Queen was a little confused but didn't know that this was the girl his son spoke to her about she was none other than cordelia the first love of his son. Hearing her son call out her name, her heart shattered."Cordelia" *tears* *tears*tears*. No no no!!! Cordelia why?"!!!as he kept on mourning his beloveth's death he looked at everyone around and dismissed all of them. The guards and the maids who knew about the secret love affair of the kindhearted girl and the prince all understood why he was very much affected. "Mother" he said" she's gone" he broke down in a heart wrenching tearful state and all the Queen could do was to hug him at the back and mourn with her son. "She's in a better place now my son*tears ".the Queen said in tears.
