Chapter 3 The big event

The big event was going great there was a lot to eat and drink and of course, there was someone i had to hide "Yasmin". We were waiting for our guest to arrive.

I was in my chambers getting dressed for the event and my bethrothed.

It is a tradition that when two people are bethrothed they are not permitted to meet each other until they get married and their courting and that's what has been happening , i haven't meet him before and the same applies to him .

Baangge ...Baangge...Baangge, there goes the sound of the bell insulation a foreign visitor or official.

Everybody immediately started hastening up, including me and my maids .

I was looking so beautiful with my yellow and striped white ball gown. I wasn't comfortable for so many reasons. I wasn't used to wearing gown because i only wore trousers and the hair tied to my hair was poking my skull, the necklace was so heavy that i couldn't feel my neck , which made it difficult for me to breathe . My hair was usually tied so as to avoid distraction but here it was falling down my back.

I just stood at the front of the mirror admiring how beautiful i was but then the feeling of nervousness that surrounded me was so intensed.

"Are you okay my princess?" Berenice asked.

"No, i am so worried"i tried to hide my feelings but it wasn't working. I don't like being emotion in front of my family or the servants because they're people who were looking up to me.

"I will soon be a married woman , i don't want that" i was now in tears.

"SShh..hh..Everything will be alright"

She reassured me with a gentle smile

A knock interrupted our moment together , the chief court lady Charlene walked in .

"My lady , Everyone's waiting , His makes the kids g hassent for you "she informed me.

"I will be there shortly" i said while staring at my self once again..

I tried walking with my shoulder , high up and steadily on the ground like a princess would.

I walked into the hall still walking majestically and then the royal court head announced my presence since was the reason behind the occasion.

"Ladies and gentlemen , welcome princess Eloise Archie , daughter of king vaidemor Louis Archie and let the party begin.

The music started and turned the ball room much lively .

My father called out to me to introduce me to our main quest.

Meet my beautiful daughter , princess Eloise he said gesturing at me .

I bowed in greetings .

Greetings your majesty , Greetings your highness.

"Rise up" king Nicholas ordered .

I just went to sit together with my siblings .

"What a beauty you have here"king Nicholas commented me to my father with a smirk.

"Yes she really is, she takes after her mother"my father said pointing at me my mother.

"I think they ... , king Nicholas couldn't continue his sentence before Hudson cut him short.

"Father , your majesty ,May i have this dance with princess Eloise" , he asked my father and his father.

"And he walked up to me , My lady may i have a dance with you" he asked politely with a bold smile.

"Yes you may"i now blushing , my heart fluttered a little .

Our moves and the music was going with one rhythm , his looks , eyes, lips , facial expression was everything, it was just so perfect but the most intriguing part was his voice and the warmth of his body . we just kept on dancing and after some moments i broke the silence.

"I heard you area twin"i asked with a staged Smile .

"Yes i am, he is the emperor of my kingdom, and he is handling business matters , but will be here shortly" He replied back with a smile.

"Okay great, so how many siblings do you have " i asked another question now with curiosity because no one ever talks about him having a sibling.

"I have the other siblings" he replied .

"Ummm ...step siblings from my father other wives , a boy and girl for the second wife and a girl for the third wife " said Adir.

"Okay that's hmm"was the only thing i was able to say . i felt so sorry for him , having to bear with that much burden but wasn't able to show emotions to him .

"what about you?", he threw a question at me back .

"Four siblings, one elder brother , a younger brother and two younger sisters", i replied.

Woo..ow, that's wonderful " he was amazed .

"Yeah thanks " i smiled.

"Can you please excuse me for a minute ¹"i asked as politely as ever.

"Yes ,sure" he smiled.
