Chapter 5 I Could Never Be Loved

Kiara POV

I was at the hotel lounge bar, chilling with myself. Though, few men had wanted to seat with me but I had politely declined. I can't take in a man today, I'm out of contraceptive pills. But hopefully, I would get it tomorrow.

After I had lunch and a nap in my room earlier, I decided to come out for a while. And believe me, it's really enticing. The speaker was blaring a soft rock music. I was moving my body along with the music on my seat, while chatting with an old man on Skype. Funny man, he was begging me to become his mistress.

"Hi" I heard a husky voice. I fumed inwardly, can't I enjoy myself in peace?

I lifted my head from my phone to look at the person, but to my surprise, he was already sitting down.

Eyes were on us as we headed towards the entrance, but none of us seemed bother about it.

"You don't need to book a room" I told him immediately we got to the reception.

"Why?" He turned to me and asked.

I just smiled and began to walk towards the elevator. I glanced back to confirm if he was following me.

In the elevator, it took all the power within me not to take in his lips into my mouth. He kept shooting me some seductive looks, I avoided them in the best way I could as my toes curled. But it was not enough, this damn thing should just stop already.

And it was just like an answered prayer, the elevator stopped and we both came down from it. Thank goodness my room was close. I unlocked the door with my key card and walked in, I quickly glanced at the bed, it was still neatly spread- Good.

He hauled me into his arms immediately he stepped in,and my heart beat skipped. He was bringing his lips closer to mine but stopped halfway and looked into my eyes, yeah, he might be thinking I may not want it. I covered my lips on his which he reciprocated immediately... And with one more look, he waved at me and walked out the door.
