Chapter 2 Drunk and Lost

A sound came from the door.

The door opened, and a beautiful figure walked in. Isabel was home.

Over 1.7 meters in height, she was tall and attractive. With her dark, soft, and curly hair, she looked fit and gentle. As her reputation stated, she had the prettiest face in City J.

Her long legs were wrapped in silk stockings. Standing on her high heels, she was a captivating young lady.

"Why is there such a stink of alcohol?"

Isabel knitted her eyebrows tightly at the smell of alcohol. She changed into slippers, walked in, and founded her husband smoking and drinking. The room was in a mess.

The line etched between her brows got deeper. She hurried to open the door and windows of the balcony and let the fresh air in.

Then she complained, displeased, "What's wrong with you today, Albert? You didn't pick up the phone, nor did you answer my message. I called your office, and they said you've left. Now you're drinking alone here and smoking so many cigarettes. What do you want?"

Three bottles of hard liquor in front of her were emptied, and a dozen cigarette butts had crowded the ashtray. The view was so disturbing.

She tried to take the glass away from Albert, but the man grabbed her wrist. He had put so much force in his hand that Isabel let out a cry in pain.

"Hey, why are you grabbing like that? It hurts. Let go of me! You are drunk. Lie down and have a rest."

"No! I'm not drunk! I can drink more!"

"Alright, alright. You can drink more. Let go of me first, okay?"

Frustrated, Isabel rolled her eyes at her husband. 'You've finished three bottles, yet you're telling me you're not drunk? Drunks always denied they're drunk!'

"Isabel, do you love me?"

"I'll answer you only after you let go of me."

"No, I want you to tell me now. Do you love me?"

Isabel let out a cry when she was yanked forward into Albert's arms and landed on his thigh.

"I love you. Can you let me go now? I can kiss you again, and you will let me go."

Defeated, Isabel leaned over to kiss Albert. If she acted like a bashful little woman in front of him and kissed him as a reward, the man would do as she pleased.

The trick had never failed in the past years!

But she was stopped this time by Albert. And she heard the word "disgusting" coming out of the man's mouth.

She didn't pay much attention to it, deciding that the man was referring to the stink of alcohol in his mouth.

"You are lying. You don't love me. You don't love me at all!"

Albert said loudly.

Isabel did a double-take at the man's yell. She watched her husband's widened eyes and handsome face. Then she narrowed her eyes and arched her eyebrows as she said, "Silly, I am your wife. How can I not love you? If I don't love you, who should I love?"

"You love another guy, and you take me like a fool! You never love me when you're with me."

Albert pointed out in an equally loud voice.

Oh... Isabel was caught off guard again. Judging from the color on the man's neck, he was just doing the drunk talk under the effect of alcohol.

So Isabel held Albert's handsome face with her other hand and stroked him as if she was touching a piece of art. She was a very good-looking lady, but sometimes she felt that her husband was no less good-looking than her. His face was masculine and radiant.

She talked to him gently, "Silly, I am your wife. How can I love another guy? The one I love is you! I have married you already and even gave birth to your kids. Tell me, if I don't love you, how could we be together? Right?"

She tried to kiss Albert, but he pushed her away. Strong enough, she leaned herself closer to him and pressed against the man with the help of her weight. When Albert turned his head, she kissed the side of his face, ears, and neck.

Albert was aroused. He shoved her rudely on the table and rode on her roughly.

"Whore! You are a whore!"

...

When Albert opened his eyes again, he founded himself lying on the bed. His mouth was dry, and he was assaulted by a splitting headache.

The alcohol was too strong. He could never get used to it!

Albert knew he had a hangover. After resting on the bed for a while, he felt better and walked to the living room. His wife was kneeling on the floor and cleaning it. Her alluring figure seized his gaze and made his mouth even drier.

Isabel was humming to herself in a great mood. Sensing the gaze on her, she looked over her shoulder and met the wood between the naked man's legs.

Her face turned red immediately. She got to her feet and said, "Morning, honey. You drank a lot last night. You must be feeling terrible now. I've prepared coffee to sober you up. Now drink it."

She turned around, fetched the coffee from the table, and handed it to Albert. Seeing that Albert didn't take it, she brought it to his mouth and fed him.

When she looked down again and caught the sight of the wood still standing, she let out a sweet smile and said, "Honey, didn't we have it last night? Go take a cold shower, and you will cool down."

She pushed Albert into the bathroom and turned on the faucet for him.

Touched by the cold water, Albert was much more clear-headed.

"You should go out. I can clean myself up."

Albert sent his wife away and stood under the shower. He could think straight now, but he was sadder.

Because last night, he had sex with the woman who cheated on him again.

He should be disgusted by her.

But he was unable to hold himself back from her! What exactly was wrong with him?

How could he divorce her if he kept being attracted by her?

And Isabel had cleaned the floor, washed their clothes, and made coffee for him. She was completely different from her usual self. What was wrong with her?

Was she guilty?

Albert snorted. 'You think you can remove the fact that you've cheated on me by doing those things?'

Irritated again, Albert clenched his fists tightly. A voice was sounding in his mind, "I'm going to dig out that bastard. And then I'm divorcing Isabel!"

"Bastard, were you proud of yourself when you humiliated me at my wedding? You can hide it from me for four years, but you cannot hide forever! I will find you, and I will return the humiliation tenfold! I swear you'll regret what you've done!"

Washed by the cold water, Albert calmed himself down and planned for his next move!

"Honey, what happened? Don't stay there for too long. You will catch a cold."

The bathroom door was pushed open, and Isabel came in. Seeing the man standing still under the water, she thought Albert still had a hangover. So she came up to turn off the water and dry him.

"I can do it by myself!"

Albert didn't want to be touched by Isabel now. The hands that had run over another man didn't deserve to touch him again. He felt dirty and disgusted when they were on him!

"You have a hangover. You can't even move. How can you do it by yourself? I'm your wife. Let me help you. What's the matter? Don't act like a baby!"
