Chapter 4 Shameless

Chloe was at a loss and looked at Freddy blankly. She wanted to explain, but she did not know how to explain it. Even she did not know how it happened.

"Dad, I..."

A loud and clear slap was followed by Freddy's angry roar, "I don't have a shameless daughter like you. From today, get the hell out of the Chadwick family! Don't appear in front of me again!"

Chloe's mouth was bleeding. Looking into Freddy's resentful and disgusted eyes, she couldn't say a word.

Freddy was so angry that his body trembled. He fiercely kicked the man on the ground and left with big strides.

Kyleigh looked at Chloe with a sinister smile and followed after Freddy. "Freddy, you just came back. Don't be so angry at such a shameless daughter..."

The room suddenly became quiet, and Jaxson stood there awkwardly. After all, Chloe was a girl and wore nothing. He scratched his head and felt that it was better to leave for the time being. Although he was sorry for her, he could do nothing now.

There were only four people left in the huge presidential suite. Jared was calm, and no one knew what he was thinking. He just stood there indifferently and his gaze stopped on that fat man.

He had a lot of romance. He knew what a man would look like after he had sex. He was sure that the man on the ground did not touch Chloe. However, the problem was that Chloe was indeed touched by someone. Who could that person be?

"Chloe, did you hear what Dad said? From now on, you'd better go far away. If you make Dad angry again, I won't forgive you!" Mariyah looked down at Chloe who was in a mess now.

Even though she was in such a state, Chloe was still so beautiful that Mariyah was jealous. Mariyah gritted her teeth, "I'm talking to you. Do you hear me? Bitch!"

Chloe sat on the bed in a daze, like a doll that had lost its soul. Her eyes were unfocused. There was only one voice in her mind.

Dad didn't want her anymore. She had been driven out of the family!

Her mother had passed away. She only had Freddy to rely on. She endured all the bullying of Kyleigh and Mariyah in order to make Freddy happy, but in the end...

Her heart ached. She felt aggrieved and wanted to cry.

She was raped, and no one cared about her. There was only abuse and criticism. She might as well die.

Her gaze fell on Jared...

"Brother Jared, let's go. It's so disgusting here." Mariyah realized Chloe's intention and quickly said.

She went to pull Jared and did not forget to glare at Chloe. Chloe was so dirty but still wanted to seduce Jared. How shameless she was!

Jared withdrew his gaze, nodded lightly, and turned to leave.

Chloe looked at his back in despair. She wanted him to hug and comfort her, but he didn't. Maybe he would never do it again. She was tainted and no longer worthy of him.

Suddenly, Jared stopped. He turned around and looked at Chloe with a calm gaze.

Chloe's heart tightened. She thought she had seen hope. She spoke with a trembling voice. Her voice was hoarse and powerless. "Jared..."

Without waiting for her to finish, Jared walked back to her side and said in a gentle voice, "Chloe, let's break up."

Since Chloe had been driven out of the Chadwick family, she had no value.

The most desperate thing was not being rejected, but after she thought there was hope, she was ruthlessly rejected.

Break up...

"Alright." She suddenly smiled and opened her cracked lips. She hoarsely spat out this word. Even her father did not want her. Who else could she hope for?

Mariyah was surprised. The worry she had just now was gone all of a sudden. She was in a good mood. Jared finally broke up with Chloe, and he would be Mariyah's.

However, Jared did not seem to be happy because of Chloe's agreement. He could not help but frown. He turned his face away, unwilling to look at her current appearance. Since he did not stop the matter from happening just now, he had prepared to break up.

He took a deep breath, turned around, and left the room.

This time, the room was so quiet that even a falling needle could be heard.

Then came a knock on the door, and Jaxson stood outside apologetically. "Are you alright?"

The waitress brought her clothes and looked at her with concern, "Chloe, are you hurt? Why is so much blood here? Did this bastard hit you?"

Chloe shook her head. "It was not him." Of course, this blood was not hers.

Seeing that she did not want to say more, the waitress did not ask anymore. Suddenly, her eyes lit up and she found a bracelet, "Chloe, is this yours?"

What a beautiful bracelet! It was lifelike as a dragon and a phoenix intertwining.

Chloe stared blankly at the bracelet. It was not hers. Was it left behind by that man?

After five years.

In a small restaurant, Chloe tidied up the dining table after the customers left. Because it was summer, her forehead was dripping with sweat outdoors.

"Chloe, you don't need to wipe it so carefully. Whether you disinfect it or not, no one will know it." Nathan was sitting under the sun umbrella, holding a bottle of mineral water and waiting for the waiter to deliver the meal.

He had never seen a girl who was better looking than Chloe, so he often came here to eat in order to talk more to her.

Hearing his words, the lady boss laughed and teased, "Nathan, you come to my place three times a day only to eat cold noodles. If you go like this again, I'm going to chase you away."

"What are you saying? I'm here to help bring business." Nathan continued to laugh. His eyesight did not leave Chloe at all. "Chloe, how old are you? Do you have a boyfriend?"

"Much older than you are. Go back to work quickly. If you are late, your boss will deduct your salary again." Chloe went to clean up another table.

"Fine. I don't care." Nathan was not mean at all. He followed behind Chloe and said, "You haven't answered me yet. Do you have a boyfriend?"

Most of the time, Chloe did not speak and only occasionally replied. The boss lady had gotten used to it. Anyway, most of the men who came to eat were here for Chloe.

Just as Nathan was chattering, a luxury sports car drove over and steadily stopped at the entrance of the small restaurant. Seeing someone came, the lady boss quickly went over.

Chloe quickly cleaned up the dining table and prepared to welcome the guests.

"What kind of lousy place is this? It is small and unhygienic. Brother Jared, why do you insist on coming to this kind of place? What if you have diarrhea?" Mariyah got out of the car in high-heeled shoes. She looked around in disdain. She was going to attend an upper-class party later but her shoes became dirty in this crappy restaurant.

"This noodle here is not bad. It is better than a hotel." Jared said lightly.

"Alright, I'll eat noodles with you. You accompany me to the mall later." Mariyah pouted and held Jared's arm intimately.

Jared pulled out his arm. "I have something to do later. I will arrange a secretary to accompany you."

"No, I want you to accompany me," Mariyah asked unhappily.

"I don't have time." Jared refused, and his voice was full of impatience.
