Brie's pov

I can't believe I won the contest to be the new TA. I have always loved English class, so this is amazing for me. I just hope the teacher is easy to get along with. It will make everything so much easier. This was both our first year his being a professor, and mine being a student so maybe we can learn all this together.

I just knew I was lucky to win this major opportunity. I got up and put on my new outfit I bought that looked cute but professional. I packed everything I needed for my English class and hurried out the door. I wanted to get there early so I could meet with the professor before class started.

That way I could see exactly what he expected of me this year. When I got to the room there was a very tall guy with his back to the door. My heart started to race, and I got nervous. What if he hated me, and didn't want me to be his T.a. then what would I do? What if I failed?

I knocked in on the door to let the professor know someone was here. When he turned around, I about lost it. It was the hot guy that walked out on me yesterday. He was a professor? No wonder he left me like he did.

How was I going to work with him now? I was attracted to this man, and now he's, my teacher. I walked further into the classroom wondering what was going to happen next.

"Hello Brie please come in."

"I didn't know you were a professor when we met yesterday. I will back out of the contest."

"I think we can both put that behind us and work together."

"Professor are you sure?"

"Please call me Reese and yes, I am sure. Let's go over the syllabus I have, and you can let me know if you have any questions."

"Ok sounds good."

I sat at a desk next to his that would be where I would sit in his class for the semester. I still wasn't sure this was the best idea. I just had a feeling this year wasn't going to go like I thought it would. Already I was working with the first guy I have wanted in a long time. How could I be this close to him, and not want him?
