Avery P.O.V.

Thirty Minutes Later...

I am down off the flagpole; I am glad to be down...

"I can't believe them assholes!" My friend Ashely said looking towards the guys seeing Jayson high fiving Elijah down the hallway by the lockers surrounded them with the guys and girls worship them like their kings. "They will never grow the fuck up!" She said with a growl and she is breathing fast and hard I can tell she is getting pissed because of what happened this morning. She needs to calm down or something will- "Hey! Dickheads! Oh no too late. I thought in my head.

Elijah P.O.V.

After this morning's show, I left her up there and walked into the school with my friends, and went to our new locker. I was feeling awful for what I did to her. But I need to show them all I am going to be a strong Alpha and I can't let them see a weakness that even in Avery aka my little wallflower nerd. After about a couple of minutes I see Avery and her friends walk in the door, when we locked eyes, I see the red of her eyes. I made her cry. Then my heart somehow felt it was breaking.

But why? I don't feel anything for a nerd, she beneath me. That when my cousin Jayson come up to me. He high-fived me. I smiled and we started laughing and talking, but my eyes didn't move from hers. I see the sadness and hurt in her beautiful blue eyes. That when her cousin Ashely her name started pointing at us and yelling across the hallway. I heard "Hey! Dickheads!" That when Jayson's smile drops and he turned toward her. He had a look in his eyes. Now, you want to talk about dick's huh baby" He said and grabbed his crotch and winked at her. I started shaking my head and laughing. Oh, man my cousin is a character sometimes. But it becomes of Ashely William he brings the big bad wolf. I grin over and saw Avery blushing. But she wasn't looking at Jayson but at me with her big beautiful- I mean huge eyes. What is wrong with me. I shook my head and went back laughing with Jayson and the rest of the guys.

Avery P.O.V.

"Grr... I can't believe that asshole! Ashley yelled out. Everyone surrounds us is staring but she didn't care. When Jayson told her about a dick, he showed her by grabbing his crotch again like outside before school started. I hate Jayson Woods!" She said out loud and people are staring at her. So, she yells, and they all run from a mad crazy she-wolf going to bite someone's head off, and that person on her shit list is Jayson Woods!

"What the fuck you are looking at!!" Ashely then turned and looked at the people in the hallway walking and staring at us. They all ran away when she yelled at them. "Ashely? Calm down, he's not worth it." I tell her. But she is folding up her fist and staring over at him laughing and pointing at her to his buddies. "Oh, I want to punch his face out!" She tells me and Natalie. She is blushing because Eli Wallace their friend is staring over at her.

Natalie? We are staring at her, she blinked and looked back at us.

Huh?" She said with red cheeks. Ashely rolls her eyes and speaks.

"Come on lover girl." Ashely looked one more time over at Jayson and he still staring at her with a big smile on his face. But she flips him off his smile drops. Ashely's face lights up with her badass grin on her beautiful face.

She starts walking away blowing him a kiss and smiling.

I walked behind her, I can see the heat of his eyes on her. He was watching her every move. But I stop in my tracks when I saw Elijah's dark blue eyes giving me chills and I can feel my body heating up. What? in the world I thought. Why I am feeling that way. I heard Angelstar in my head.

"Because you going to be in heat. Once that happens your mate is near. So, calm it down hot pants!" She said laughing. I can hear her in the back of my mind.

" Stop it, or I won't let nice wolfie come out for our nightly run," I told her with so much sass. I laughed when she growled and huffed and bulled in the back of my mind. I chuckled in my mind and shook my head and started walking down the hall towards my first class with my best friends. I felt heat on the back of my neck. I know he staring at me again. If I look back. He still be there staring at me. So, I try not to look. But I turn my head a little bit. I gasp and there he was staring at me as I said. I turned back around and kept walking with my friends with my cheeks red.
