Chapter 5 My compensation!!

"welcome to diva's restaurant sir, can I take your orders?" Ryan heard a familiar voice.

He raised up his head to see Paige smirking at him in a evil manner.

"Y...you?" He stuttered.

"Your orders sir," she said again.

"Menu?"

She gave him the menu with smirks on her face.

He took a look at the menu and widened his eyes in shock.

The menu was listed:

Money 100$

Repair my phone 70$

Compensations 50$

Or death!! 100 billion$ non-stop

He looked at her and she smiled at him.

She snatched the menu from him and smirked at him.

"So, your orders?"

Ryan opened his mouth in shock. This witch wanna kill him before his time. She was already scaring him.

"Please give me normal menus, I will compensate later for the phone with money, please spear me for once," he begged and she smiled at him.

"Okay, I will be waiting for you,"

She gave him the normal menu and he made an order.

[Oh Lord please save me from the witch,] he prayed on his mind

The other waiter served his meal to him...

While eating, he saw someone familiar by the other side.

"Isn't that Nancy?!"

He itched his eyes and looked clearly at the person. It was really Nancy Salvador, but she wasn't concentrating on the food she was eating.

"I thought Nancy doesn't like to go to petty restaurants like this? What's she doing here?"

Nancy hates going to petty restaurants, she loves it when it is maybe a hotel or maybe a big restaurant, not some street restaurant like diva. But she had no other choice but to come cause of a deal with a company.

She was wondering why the company chooses diva's restaurant instead of a big hotel.

She hates petty restaurants and especially the one almost every community were popular with.

She wanted to cut the deal with the company but her father won't allow. Instead he scolded her that all because of a restaurant she wanted to cut the deal with a company.

She stared at her phone with no patience. She then began to look around for them.

Ryan saw her looking around and he quickly lowered his head.

"Why is she looking around now," he muttered to himself and stood up.

He went to the counter to pay up before running out again.

Paige saw him running out and scoffed. Thinking he ran out cause of her, she started to rain curses on the poor man.

"What a big bastard-fool is this guy, he thinks he can get away from the problem he got himself into.

"I won't leave my work for a fool like him, but I will find him and then"

"So he ran out without compensating?"

"Yeah and he damn assured me he would compensate for my phone but surprisingly, he didn't, instead he ran out by lowering his head.

"At least he felt shameless of himself,"

"He never did, he knew that I would go for him and kill him, that's why he lowered his head and walked out like nothing happened,"

"Okay, let's not talk about that anymore,"

"Why shouldn't we?"

"I need to show you something,"

"What is that," Paige asked folding her hands in anger.

"You just chill first. The thing is outside waiting,"

"Sure, common,"

The two friends went out of the house. Paige saw something familiar to her covered with a big polythene. She widened her eyes and then looked at Shelby.

"Isn't that..."

"Yep."

She opened it and it revealed a pink scooter. The scooter was for Paige's. The scooter spoilt last year which made Paige cry her eyes out. Shelby took it away to get it repaired at the mechanic.

The scooter was Paige's best vehicle and she would do anything to get it, that was one of the reasons she had no choice but to work as a waitress.

"Pink Floyd," she called it's name and Shelby chuckled. The name was funny to her. She decided to name the scooter Floyd because Floyd was her own birth place which was Oneida New York, A town.

She loved the place so dearly that she decided to name her scooter after the town.

"Shelby thank you,"

"It was nothing. You are my bestie and as my bestie, you needed the best of best gift, this is just for you to not look for cabs and to find that man.

"Yes and I will also do my best,"

"Good,"

The two of them did the best friend handshake and then phoww!!! To blow it up, like they used to.

Ryan took his brother (Aaron's) work and began to help him with it.

Aaron was out to get his ingredients while Ryan do his thing. He read everything before signing and filling.

He loved his brother dearly and he would do anything for him, but in a hard way though, he would try to decline him first and punish him before helping him, which was his thing.

After helping him in all of it, he put them aside and into his wardrobe.

"Ryan!!" He heard his mother's voice from downstairs.

"Great,"he muttered.

He walked downstairs to see the woman sitting on the couch while the maids served him with their knees down.

"Mum, what are you doing here?"

"What do you mean what am I doing here? This is my son's house and I am free to come here anytime I want,"

"Okay, I am sorry Mom. I was just surprised of your sudden visit. That's why I questioned you, am sorry,"

"Okay, I forgive you. I am just here to ask something from you,"

"If it's about marriage, please quit it Mom,"

"Common Ryan. You are not getting younger, you are getting older everyday, your brother Aaron is already getting closer to your height,"

"I know mom but I am not ready to settle down yet,"

"You are not?"

"Yes Mom, I am not ready to settle down,"

"Okay, tell me the reason you don't want to?"
