Uggh....

Here i am standing in front of mr ugly's mansion with my bags ''i took in a deep breath''

Ok Isabelle! You can do this "i muttered to myself"

I have to do this for my family, they deserve all the happiness in the world and they are going to get it

Mum didn't take my decision well neither did Linda or ivy they all felt I was putting myself at great risk in the hands of a stranger who hates me already

But my mind is made up already!

I knocked, and the gate man from yesterday opened the gate

Good afternoon mr ......

Philip, you can call me phillip miss isabelle 'he said'

Ok is mr ugly... i mean mr alexandro inside

''Gosh i need to stop calling him mr ugly if i want to keep this job''

Sorry phillip, it was a slip of tongue ''i said apologetically''

No problem miss isabelle the boss is waiting for you ''he said and i nodded''

And miss Isabelle ''he called out before i could go''

''Yes mr phillip''

Don't let him here you calling him ugly or it won't be funny ''he said grinning''

''i just nodded with my face totally red from embarassment''

I got into the house and i met mr andrew vacuuming the living room

Good afternoon mr andrew ''i said cheerfully''

Good afternoon miss isabelle Mr alex is in his office waiting ''he answered''

Thanks ''i said'' making my way to his office.......

I knocked softly on the door.....

Come in isabelle ''he said from inside'' and i opened the door to meet a handsome alexandro busy on his work desk

He lifted his head up and our eyes met and for a moment there i was lost staring at him

But i was quick to compose myself

Good morning mr alexandro ''i said trying hard not to sound nervous''

''No need for the formalities Isabelle let's get down to business''

Your work is to prepare the meals around here and to make sure the kitchen is always clean i don't like a messy kitchen

My mom would be here very soon so i want you to prepare a nice meal for her ''he said''

What should i prepare ''i asked''

Suprise me ''he answered''and i nodded making my way to the kitchen when i remembered that i don't even know the way

Ehrmm mr ale......

Alexandro just call me alexandro ''he corrected before i could finish''

What do you need ''he asked coldly''

I don't know the way to the kitchen ''i answered lowly''

Follow me ''he said walking ahead of me''

We got to the kitchen and a wow escaped my lips.... gosh this place is beautiful

I know ''he said smirking''

''Oops did i say that out loud''

You should get to work my mom would be here soon'' he said and i nodded as he left the kitchen

Okay!! What am i gonna cook, i don't know what his mom prefers

Ahrrgh..... i should have asked him what she likes

Oh well i think i'll prepare my favourite, basmatic rice and grilled chicken

Mom taught me how to prepare it even though we are poor, she always makes sure i have it on my birthdays

I really miss her, i remember how she cried when i told her i was leaving

I'll have to work hard and make her proud ''i muttered''

I'm sure dad is in heaven watching me and he'll surely take care of me and protect me from any danger lurking around(and by danger I mean the likes of Mr ugly)

Perfect i said as i added the finishing touches to the food

I hope she likes it, i can't afford to lose this job.......

I dropped the food on the dinning table

i haven't seen alexandro since he left me in the kitchen ''where could he be''?

The sound of the doorbell snapped me out of my thoughts.........

I opened the door to see a very beautiful lady dressed in fancy clothes

She looked in her late fifties but she had no wrinkles on her face and she looked soo much like alexandro

Oh my God!! Could she be alexandro's mum

Good evening ma'am i said trying hard to hide my nervousness, geez i hope i don't get fired

Good evening dear, i haven't seen you here before

Did my son get a girlfriend without letting me know huh? ''She said grinning''

Whatttt!!

Did she just say girlfriend ... .for mr ugly, that's never gonna happen!

No ma'am am the new maid ''i said''

Ohh ok sorry, you're really pretty ''she said somewhat disappointed''

Why would she be disappointed because am not her son's girlfriend

I shrugged the thought off when i heard mr ugly enter the leaving room

Mum ''he said smilling as he hugged her''

So he knows how to smile, ''it looks good on him though''

Lets go to the dinning mum am sure your hungry ''he said smilling''

Ok son, Isabelle come with us lets go eat ''she said''

What ma'am! ''i asked''

Come eat with us ''she said more seriously'' all this while alexandro just stood there staring blankly at me

(He was clearly warning me to reject the offer with his eyes)

''Why isn't he saying anything''

Did you here me Isabelle, ''she asked''

Uh.m..m.. ok ma'am ''i stuttered''

Good let's go she said walking to the dinning area with mr ugly while i tailed behind .......

I dished the food and made my way to my sit when i tripped on the tiles

I closed my eyes waiting for the impact of the fall when i felt a strong arm wrap around my waist

I opened my eyes to stare right into a pair of eyes soo beautiful that i got lost staring at them.
