Chapter 4 SHE CAN WALK!

They continued to follow her until she parked her Cayenne beside the nanny van at the underground parking. Lucas instructed his driver to park behind where they have a good view of her every movement.

The sliding door of the nanny van opened, and a woman who's wearing a gray sweater with a purple flower with a big word on top that says FreeSIA got off. She is wearing eyeglasses that made her look older, though, in his observation, she must be only in her early thirties.

She looked around and gave Sarah a thumbs up.

She then opened her door and got off of her vehicle without the need to use a wheelchair. The driver looks at the rearview mirror wide-eyed.

"S-s-sir," he stuttered. He can't believe what he just saw. Earlier, that woman was sitting in a wheelchair, but now, she was perfectly standing beside her car.

"Keep your mouth shut," with a stern voice, Lucas warned his driver not to say anything.

It was beyond his expectation that she could walk, though he had doubts. But seeing it first hand shocked him.

'You're full of surprises, woman!' He smirked playfully. He feels like awarding himself for following her tonight. Lucas was glad that he followed his instincts to do so. He almost missed this chance to know her other secret aside from being able to speak.

The nanny van left, and they continue to follow Sarah to know her actual destination.

To his surprise, the nanny van stops at the main entrance of the departure area. He checked the time, and it is precisely midnight. They parked one car behind the truck this time. He noticed people quickly gathered in front of the vehicle carrying colorful signboards.

He opened the door of his car, got off, and closed the door. He then leaned on the closed door with his hands inside his pants pockets. The airport security split the people waiting with their signboards into two groups to make way.

The woman wearing eyeglasses came out first, followed by three women wearing an above-the-knee skirt in black color and a black jacket.

Each jacket has a word free written on it in capital letters. But each of them has different initials below. The tallest woman has an initial I, while the two women, about the same height, have S and A's initials on their jackets.

He is guessing that the one with an initial S on her jacket should be Sarah. They are wearing purple masks and wigs, so he can't tell who's who.

The fans are screaming the word Freesia, so he guessed that it should be their group's name.

When they finally entered the departure area, Lucas entered his car and searched for FreeSIA on the internet. He then found that FreeSIA is currently the most popular girl-group band in the country. They started singing at the hotel bars five years ago and were discovered by chance when their current manager/agent visited the bar the following year.

He clicked on their recent music video and watched it intently. In the video, Sarah was playing the drums while singing. The masks' shapes are according to their initials, and it only covers their eyes. So, it's not complicated to know who's who.

He searched further, and he noticed that they were switching from one instrument to the other. Lucas was astounded to discover that she knows how to play a lot of musical instruments. He grinned, "let's go home."

He looked at their agency and discovered that FreeSIA is under U & R Talent Agency, owned by Eric Guzman.

City A's Airport

The plane finally landed after four hours of flight at the airport in City A. They will first meet and greet their City A fan-based at the mall, then a mini-concert at its open stage. Since it is summer, an outdoor concert is a perfect idea.

They head straight to their hotel to rest. Sarah was so exhausted that she instantly fell asleep as soon as she lay down on her bed. The knocks in her room awakened her. She stretched and reached for her phone to check the time. It is at half-past eleven. She remembered that their agent, Charlie reminded them to set their alarm at eleven and be ready before noon. She hurriedly opened the door and saw her friends and bandmates, Inah, Andrea, and of course, Charlie.

"Hello, sleeping beauty!" Inah said while grinning at her. She knows that she's in trouble for being late again, and Inah has the nerve to mock her.

Andrea pushed her gently and entered her room. Inah and Charlie followed.

Charlie was about to nag her, but Andrea interrupted her.

"Hey, Charlie! leave it to us," she winked at Inah, and Inah motioned to Sarah.

"Yes! Charlie with their help, I'll be ready in five minutes," Sarah said, almost begging her not to be mad at her.

Charlie looked at the trio and shook her head. These girls were always covering each others' butts. Which is good, but sometimes it puts her in a dilemma, especially with their big boss.

She can only nod in agreement. She turned around and was about to open the door to wait for them in the lobby when she thought of something.

"Sarah, as for punishment, you will be on the first chair," she said with a smirk on her face. She then turned the knob and left.

"What?!" She was surprised to hear her punishment for waking up late. They all know that she hates writing the most, and sitting in the first chair means she will be writing more than a signature!

Inah and Andrea cannot do anything but tap her shoulder and pity her. Sarah can only pout while her two best friends started helping her with her hair and make-up.

Inah's specialty is make-up. She can transform a zombie into a fairy. At the same time, Andrea can make a lot of hairstyles. She felt guilty sometimes because she can't help them in those aspects, but the two love taking care of her. They once said that she is their human barbie doll.

"Perfect!" Inah said excitedly. Andrea gave her a high five and nudged Sarah, "You're beautiful as always, darling," she said, teasing her.

"You ladies are gorgeous," she replied with a big smile.

"I know," Inah replied with a pout. "But we can only show half of it," she said bitterly. Each of them has its dilemma.

Inah's brother is the big boss of their talent agency. Andrea and Sarah are the only ones who knew it. They did not dare to reveal that secret to Charlie. They haven't met her brother, Eric Guzman, simply because he doesn't deal with them, and Charlie is very hands-on when it comes to their needs.

Andrea is the only child in the family. Her parents are overprotective and want her to take over their restaurant business when she turns twenty-five. When she turned eighteen and her friends decided to take their band seriously, she begged her mom and dad to accomplish her dream before taking over the company.

At first, her dad was against it, but because of her determination, her dad finally agrees with one condition: they have to know everything. She hesitated to tell them, but her mom encouraged her and told her that they would support her no matter what it is. And she was glad that she did. They became their biggest supporters.
