Chapter 5 Twilight

16 February, 11:17pm

Dylan is wandering in the deep dark forest,like a lost little puppy.It was full moon,and the cool silvery moon fascinated him.The glorious moon was shining in the sky,accompanied by twinkling stars that looked like little fairies.He stared at his own shadow in the moon light like a lone lost soul .He then jumped on an old oak branch.Jumping upward from one branch to the other,like a wild cat.He was now at the top..it's very high..He's sitting up there,staring at the moon as if he's being attracted by a sort of mythical magnet.

He suddenly hear dry leaves were rustling and cracking downward,but he wasn't surprised at all.The rustling sounds came closer and closer,and he can clearly hear someone climbing the trees lighning fast.Dylan scratched his forehead and smiled to himself.

"Haha..am i supposed to be afraid? I know you're here! Show yourself!"

As soon as he said this,a huge silhouette appeared behind him.It came closed and the moonlit could clearly reveal his creepy appearance.Its claws are too pointed, blood dripping from his sharp canines..his body was covered with grey fur,and he had scary golden-yellow eyes..he's like a man trapped in a wolf's body,and twice bigger than this later.He was holding an animal's leg; like a rabbit's leg, in his hand.

"Was the hunt good?Aatto..Aatto..why did you just Vlycan?(Vlycan is when werewolves metamorphose into human phase or vice versa) It's not yet midnight..!"

Aatto vlycaned quickly,his head spinning as if he was pocessed by a demonic spirit.The vlycan phase took only two seconds.He turned into a hanadsome healthy young man; long blond hair,deep green eyes and soft baby lips. He dropped the rabbit's leg and cracked his neck,smiled at Dylan and punched him slightly on his right shoulder.

"I wanted to scare the shit out of you haha..damn! I failed again! Well i was looking for you,i knew you'd be here..where were you?"he said in a loud growly voice.

Dylan then remembered about the nice moment with Hayley.Although it was short,it was indeed a nice time.He knew that unfortunately he can't be too friendly with her,but it's somehow weird that even though he knew he can't be closed to her,he still can't hold himself when he see her.It's as if there's some kind of connection between them.But this kind of connection is impossible.He knew it.But how can he explain this? He thinks about her soft lips,the way that she submits herself,the way she looked at him.Shy.Loving.Bad tempered .Modest. Submissive. The way she looked terrified actually excites him as if he's feeding himself through her fears.He smiled to himself.Aatto watched him,with his lips pursed,wondering what Dylan is thinking about.

Dylan then thought about the consequences if it happens that Gundulf; the Alpha King of the pack,learned about him and Hayley,as if he's calculating the pros and cons.He knew that he should never have any contact with any human as its too dangerous.And it's of course strictly prohibited to have any intercourse with a human.Dylan remembered about the day the Shaman talked to the boys of the pack.He was still young and he has just started to learn how to hint preys.The Shaman is known as the "great witch" of the pack.That day,his speech went like this : During coupling,the male becomes dominant and aggressive,he'll not be able to control himself,it changes its metabolism completely.You see,it's like a lion and a deer..Lions and deers can't mate each other..Lions should mate with it's own species,so does the deers..And you all know how it ends right..?The lion will eventually eat the poor deer..So lets go back to my explanations.. All those known doing this have killed their victims during coupling..They are then considered to be unworthy for having dissobeyed to the king,and the Alpha orders the others to kill him and eat his flesh in front of others to serve as a lesson..

One day you'll all have families..you'll find a she-wolf,and you'll empótisi with her.Do you all know what it means?Well when you empótisi,it means you imbue,like love at first sight,and finding your soulmate.It happens only once in a lifetime.But guys..let me tell you a secret...

In the scriptures of our ancestors,it is said that one wesen(creature) will fall for another creature of a forbidden species,and this wesen is meant to be the strongest of all wesens throughout the entire universe..and from that day,there'll be peace throughout each others..

Dylan knew clearly that what the Shaman said was just a minor issue.He knew that he only said this for them not to have any contact with humans.He knew that the real issue why werewolves have so much hatred for human is because of something else..

"Has a werewolf ever had empótisi ..with a human?" He asked curiously.

Aatto's eyes widened kn horror,as if he's seen a ghost,and as if those words Dylan just pronnounced,were not real.

"What the..Wwhat did i just hear?Dylan,should i remind you how those words you just said can lead to your destruction?" He was horrified,he clenched his fist and his canines appeared slowly.

Dylan was numb,he watched him ,with his arms crossed.He rolled his eyes at him and said " Relax,it's just a simple question"

" Well that's totally,completely impossible!Fortunately it never happened and it won't ever happen! Humans belong to humans.Werewolves belong to werewolves.Should i remind you what our goal really is..? We're not going to that school to have fun,right,we're waiting for the right moment to make them pay for all the bad things they did to us..to our ancestors..when they knew our ancestors were werewolves they burned down their sanctuaries,tortured them,killed them without any pity,chased them from their home and shoot them with silver bullets..Their time is running out! We'lk have no pity for those jerks! We're here for justice,and we'll have justice! Ha! If my father just heard what you said,i can't imagine his reaction..he'd be so furious..haha..

You know what's good being the Alpha kings son best friend?Loyalty.I'll never betray you,you're like a brother to me! Come'on let's go running till the river bank...i heard that you were as slow as a snail! Prove me wrong!" He laughed out loud.

They both Vlycan and raced to the river bank.

It's almost midnight and it's howling-growling time.They went to join the pack.
