Chapter 4 Escape

Flash Back.

"mom, please, mom am sorry" I said when she rough fully pushed me, making me land in a wooden chair.

"I am not your mother" shouted while lighting a candle. She came closer with the candle sited on her right hand. She placed the candle on my lap making the hot oily substance drop on my lap. It was burning my skin.

Why did I wear shorts today?.

"I'm really sorry, I didn't know Alice will do that" I bit my lips to stop more tears from dropping. Mom only rolled her eyes every time I spoke.

Alice is my best friend or should I say was my best friend. Alice is the only one that knew what I was going through, she has been there for me all the time. Today Alice made a huge decision without asking me.

She reported to the police, she told them about what I was going through, how my foster parent abused me. When the officers came, mom was very furious, she tried to convince them that notting was happening.

Dad and mom made it look like Alice was mentally unstable, she needed help, I was forced to testify in court, I lied about Alice.

Believe me I wish I could help her, I wish I could stop everything from happening, But that day Dad gave me two options.

Alice's death

Or

Alice to be taken to the asylum.

After some days Alice was taken to the mental asylum for treatment, I go there everyday to beg for her fDedicateds, I can never forgive myself for what happened to Alice, she only wished good for me.

"I'm really sorry Alice, I really am". I tried visting Alice in the asylum but she refused to meet me.

End of Flash Back.

I woke up with someone softly shaking me.

"Wake up, wake up" I heard a faint voice. I slowly opened my eyes to be welcomed with darkness, I was having a nightmare again.

"are you up" I heard the voice again. It seemed like a girl's voice.

"who are you?." I said to the voice that woke me up.

"your new friend".

I was confused that when realization drawn to me, the new friend he was talking about, the girl that saved me from almost being raped. But what if she is like him?, what if she will do bad things to me?. My body hurt from last night events, I tried moving but it hurt more.

"Will... you... hurt.. Me" I said while stammering.

I heard a short laugh "no".

She seems nice, maybe she will let me.

"Will you let me go" I said already knowing the answer.

She didn't say anything for almost two minutes, I thought she won't speak but she did.

"No, he will kill me if I do" she said.

I turned my attention to the noise my stomach was making, I am starving, I was about asking her food when she spoke.

"I can take off your blind fold if you want".

Yay do it.

"Yes".

My blind fold was immediately taken off, My vision was a little bit blur, I tried blinking my eyes so that I could see properly, The room is small, very small, It was almost like we we're in a box, it was painted brown

Who paints a room brown, that's odd.

There was lights all around the room making it so bright, there was this hammer and other tools scattered on the floor. There are no windows but there was one wooden door.

I was right I was sited on a hard concrete floor.

I turned to the left to look at my savior. She isn't what I expected, she looked crazy, she is fair, her hair was scattered and messy, she bit her lips and she was playing with her dress. She kept scratching her hair and talking to herself occasionally.

She seems mentally unstable

If she is what I think she is, I will be able to trick her easily.

"Hi" I said making her look at me.

"Hello".

How do you make a crazy person obey you.

I don't know what to do?, or how to talk to her?. That when I got an idea.

"I'm Sara, what's your name".

"Evelyn".

"That is a good name".

"Really?".

"Yes, you know I have a sister named Evelyn, she loves to cook and explore food.

Lie, I don't even have a sister my inner voice said.

"Wow! That's amazing, I love food a lot, your sister seems like fun".

" yes she is, what do you like doing" I suddenly ask her.

'hmmm.. I like dressing up" she said.

That gave me an idea.

"I love dressing up too, would you like me to dress you up".

She nodded a "yes".

"but for that you will have to untie me".

"no, you will run".

"I won't, I promise" I gave her my best puppy eyes.

"ok".

She stood up and turned me around, she began untying my hands then my legs once she was done.

"ok let dress up, I love pink it like the best colour ever." She said.

I nodded and smiled when I got

I pushed her roughly on the floor but not so hard to hurt her I used that opportunity to grab the ropes and tie her. She was trying to say something but her voice hardly came out.

I took the hammer to advance to the door, There was a huge lock on the door, it was locked from inside, I used the hammer to break the lock.

It not as easy as they show it on TV my inner voice said.

A slow creepy sound came along as I opened the door, I was welcomed by trees, I was about stepping out when I heard a voice.

"where do you think you are going?" The voice was loud.

I didn't dare look behind to see who it was, I decided to do what Alice will always say.

"Run, Run fast and don't look back".
