Chapter 4 encounter

Caira's POV

I was about snatching the dress from his hands when my mum interfered

" caira!! What do you think you are doing!!" Mum said as she ran to me and dragged me away from mikel's presence

"Caira what do you think you are doing!, do you have any idea who that was?" she said almost in a whisper

"yes mum, that was Mikel camford, Soo fucking what?? Because his dad is a billionaire doesn't actually mean he should go about oppressing everyone, his dad is the CEO of the camford high scholars academy and many other companies abroad but not this mall" I responded angrily.

"caira, listen to me, just let that dress go, there are many other dresses in the mall that you can choose from!" Mum said picking up another dress, but I wasn't buying her idea, I was already in love with that dress and I must have it by all means.

"NO, I am going back there to collect my Dress" i said walking away. I got to Mikel and saw him with another guy walking towards the exit door, wait!, Was he trying to leave with my dress??, Hell NO!!, I won't just stand and do nothing, I rushed to him and blocked the exit door.

"Mikel or whatever you call your self, you better hand over my dress right now or else you are not going anywhere!!" I said blocking the exit door

"young lady please just let this dress go, you would surely find a better dress" Mikel's friend said

"I'm not finding any other dress!! ( I cut in). I want my dress back" i said at the top of my voice.

Mikel slowly walked away to the cashier, while I smirked in victory, he was probably going to return the dress and get a refund of his money.

few minutes later, a security woman came and started asking me some weird questions

"Miss, what's your full name?" The security woman asked.

"caira Hudson" I answered, while the security woman scribbled something in a notebook

"so, you said that young man over there collected your dress, right?" She asked pointing her index finger at mikel.

" yes ma'am!" I answered feeling Soo relieved.

"okay Miss, I am from the customers complaint department and I would like you to fill this complaint form" she said handing over a form to me.

"uhmm, ...ma'am, my complain isn't really serious, I just want him to return my dress, that's all, i don't really want trouble for anyone. You can just tell him to return my dress." I said a little regretful, I really don't want to get Mikel into any trouble because of a dress.

"that is the point my dear!! We've already told him to return your dress, but he still insisted on taking it, So, that's why you need to fill this form" she said with a smile.

"okay ma'am" I said collecting the form.

I finished filling the form and submitted the form to her.

there was a lot of crazy questions in the form, particularly on my personal information, after I submitted the form, the woman took a photograph of me and I was asked to sign, I really hoped that this doesn't spoil mikel's image.....

Few minutes later, I saw the security woman coming with a document

Security woman: miss caira Hudson, am Soo sorry to say this, but I just want to inform you that" your patronage are no longer needed here..."YOU HAVE BEEN BANND FROM BUYING ANYTHING IN THIS MALL" Meaning that; NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY FOR A DRESS AT THIS MALL, YOU WOULD NOT BE ALLOWED IN" therefore, you shouldn't be seen around this mall.

I was Soo shocked when she said those words, Soo all this while, it had never been a complaint form but an expulsion form.

...me and mum were asked to leave the mall,..

this Mikel Guy was really Soo heartless, I couldn't believe that he Banned me from shopping at this mall.

"darling let's just check out another shopping mall." Mum said, dragging me out gently.

"No mum, I think we've had enough embarrassment for a day" I said walking away.

Zack and mikel drove out of the shopping mall, for a while they weren't saying anything to each other.

" Mikel, don't you think you went too far, I mean, you could have done anything but not banning her from shopping, that was completely outrageous" Zack said while driving.

"so, what did you expect me to do to her" Mikel asked with his eyes glued on his phone.

" probably throw her out or something, or you would have just hand over her dress back to her because it's obvious that she was the first to pick that dress" Zack answered with a shrug.

"As far as I am concerned Zack, this is just the a lesser punishment compared to the nature of my punishment,

normally, if it was for any other days, she would have been probably cooling her @ss in jail by now, but I don't know why I spared her" Mikel answered perfunctorily.

" probably because she's cute and hot" Zack said with a smirk.

"do you really think I care about how pretty she is before putting her in her place, I have delt with a lot of girls, way more prettier than her, Soo she shouldn't be an exemption, I guess I was just in a good mood today" Mikel said as he scoffed.

"Mikel, i don't really.....

"zack would you please change that topic already!!" Mikel cut in rudely While zack laughed out loud.

Few days later

The morning clock rang out loudly awaking me from my sleep, I rested up sluggishly, then lay back on my bed to rest,

few minutes later I heard my door flung open, it was my mum

"good morning mum" i said tiredly

"caira are you still sleeping?, today is your first day at high school and this is 6:30 am!!!" She said walking into my room.

"oh my God!!" I said and flung up to my feet immediately, I stripped naked regardless of my mum's presence and ran to the bathroom. In no time I was done with bathing, I brushed my teeth, my hair and put on a casual dress. I didn't bother putting on makeup because I was not the makeup type, I wore my new sneakers, took my backpack and left for the sitting room. When I got to the sitting room, breakfast was already served.

" darling, you are done so fast?" She asked looking surprised

"Yes mum, sorry I won't be able to sit for breakfast, I am running late, I'll just eat when I'm back" I said having a final look at the mirror.

"why the rush dear, I made your favourite, bacon and egg, and this is just 7 a.m. so, you still got extra 30 minutes" mum said placing the breakfast on the table.

"bye mum" I said and gave her a peck, ignoring what she said.

" Alright dear, can I at least give you a ride?" Mum said picking up her car key.

"okay mum, I'll be waiting outside" I said going out

mum dropped me off at school and I proceeded to the school management office to obtain my text books, school ID card, uniform and other necessary material that they offered to give me for Free.

It was not an easy process to get pass the school gate, I was asked a lot of scrutinizing questions and also had to provide my scholarship letter, when I got into the school I was Soo amazed by the sight in front of me, the school was Soo beautiful, there was carved sculpture of Dr. Camford (Mikel's Dad) the school was beyond beautiful, there was a lot of student, looking Soo classy and richly dressed, "gosh!! I don't think this is a place for someone like me" I said inside me.

I was was led to the school management office by a junior student, when I got to the school management office, I knocked gently and was ushered in by a feminine voice, I walked in and saw a beautiful young lady who was probably in her late 30's seating behind a desk which contained Soo many papers and folder, I guessed that she must be the appointee in charge of enrolling newly admitted students.

there was a name tag on her jacket with an inscription "Dany Flora"So I guessed that must be her name.

She welcomed me with a very friendly smile.

"good morning ma'am" I said also smiling.

"Good morning dear, please have a seat" she said gesturing me where to sit.

"thank you ma'am" i said taking my sit.

"what's your name young lady and how may I help you?" she said, her eyes fixed on what she was typing.

"I am one of the beneficiary of this month's scholarship, and I was asked to resume school today" I replied.

"okay dear Soo what's your name dear" miss dany asked picking up an empty file.

In no time I was done with the school management office,I was given a laptop, school uniform, ID card, admission number, seat number and other necessary documents And was led to grade 12 which Miss Dany said was my supposed grade. As I walked along the hall way I kept admiring everything within the school, until I got to grade 12.

When I got to grade 12, I stood at the door for some seconds, I was so nervous to enter, I prayed silently within me and finally decided to enter, when I got inside the class room, all eyes were on me, some were whispering among them selves, some guys were winking, while some just stared on, it wasn't easy walking among an entire class of about 100 with their hard stare boring deep into me, I felt like I was going to trip but good thing I didn't, My seat number was 025, so I walked timidly to my seat, and sat down gently.

After few minutes of waiting, a teacher finally walked into the classroom, we all stood up and greeted in unison, she introduced her self as Mrs. Jenny and also made my presence known to everyone.

"good morning class, I would like to inform you all that there is a new student in our midst, Soo I

would like her to introduce her self in front of everyone, please try to be nice for once" she said as she opened a small folder containing the list of newly admitted students and my name was the first on the list.

"miss caira Hudson, please come out and introduce yourself" she said reading through the folder.

I walked out timidly, all eyes were on me, I just pray I don't trip while walking. I got in front of the class and was about speaking when everyone suddenly got distracted.

"oh my gosh! Mikel is in school today" a student said while the entire class got distracted and noisy.

"everyone please settle down!!" The teacher in front of the class said, but no one was listening to her as everyone was busy murmuring about mikel's presence in school, they all seemed excited, most especially the girls.

for a while, I was Soo confused when I saw Mikel walking towards our classroom, could it be possible that we were in the same grade? "God please let it not be what i am thinking" i prayed silently within me.
