Chapter 5 Visitor

In this chapter, I'm going to write Charlie's brother's POV for you to know how he feels about his father dying and him losing his twin sister at the same time. Enjoy!!!!

Carter's(Charlie's twin brother) POV.

I was devastated when my father died plus losing my twin sister Charlie at the same time. I know it's wrong for me to blame charlie for William's death but what would you do in a situation like mine, I mean she's the one that made William left the house.

There's a part of me that wants to ignore her and there's that part of me that just wants to comfort her but instead of doing the second option, I went for the first one.

On the day William died my mom insisted that Charlie go live with her sister the night she fell unconscious.

I was against it because I knew it would tear her apart since she was closer to our father than I was, and I know that she would blame herself for his death, and for losing the rest of her family all at the same time.

She might hide her emotions well but I know she won't be able to hide this one, it's just too much for her to handle.

What breaks my heart the most is that when I woke up the other morning the day after my father died I went into Charlie's room but was surprised when she wasn't in bed, which was strange because she isn't a morning person so she wouldn't wake up so early and especially since its a weekend.

When I went downstairs for an explanation from my mom, it's like she knew what I was about to say because only a smirk was plastered on her face.

I then asked her where Charlie was, I was dumbstruck when I heard her say she packed her clothes in a suitcase and wrote her a letter saying she isn't her mom and I wasn't her twin anymore, and that she must get out of her house as soon as she read the letter.

I mean what kind of mother blames a 16-year-old girl for her husband's death and not only that kicks her out after such accusations.

I felt unbearable pain in my chest from all of this family drama and it was sad that I couldn't do anything about it. All I have to do is just watch as the family simply breaks apart.

I couldn't call or text Charlie because it's not like she would respond, no one in her position would so am gonna just give her space.

And I won't be seeing her either because I suppose my aunt Rebecca will make her switch school to avoid questions and most importantly to avoid me.

But that's not stopping me from watching her from a distance and take pictures of her and watch her sleep most times.

( lol u might think am creepy but am not ).

I want her to be safe at all times, she might think I forget about her but she's wrong.

End of Carter's POV

I was surprised when I opened the door to see that the person who knocked on the door was no one else but Vicky.

"I see you couldn't wait to see if inside my home is beautiful as well, Charlie smirked."

"I couldn't wait and my house is empty so I decided why not come see what chef Brown is up to, Vicky said with a giggle."

"Lock the door please I'm going to go check on my cookies and dinner, please make yourself at home, Charlie spoke up saying softly."

"That won't be a problem, Vicky quickly responded before shutting the door shut."

I was just in time to take the cookies out of the stove because if they baked more they would eventually get burnt. As I took the cookies out the tasty smell made my mouth watered that I had to wipe my mouth with a napkin.

Seconds later Vicky walked in drooling am guessing because of the smell of my cookies.

"I see my cooking has caused you to drool, Charlie smirked."

"It smells really good and I can't help it, Vicky said with a smile as she wiped a handful of water from her mouth with a napkin."

"Don't give me the credit yet, you haven't tasted it as yet, Charlie spoke up slowly."

After Vicky ate some of my cookies I offered her some of the spaghetti I made for my aunt... She was impressed by my cooking because she squealed.

I didn't eat any dinner because I normally wait until my aunt came home from work.

I didn't get any homework so I just give Vicky a tour around the house.

Am so sorry I was too busy to upload a chapter and my internet is giving a little problem here and there so I couldn't get to upload this chapter.
