"But the room next to yours is very small, it can only fit 2 medium size beds and it doesn't have enough space to play around." Her mother complaint, it will be her first time to do something for her grandbabies and she want to give them the best.
"I can sleep with mommy." Andrei said while raising his right hand
"No, I can sleep with mommy." Devin said
"I'm the youngest so I can sleep with mommy." Eddy said and went to Eunice to hug her
"We can squeeze in tonight in my room, then tomorrow we will get you three small beds." Compromise always works for them.
Living independently in Boston and raising three kids is quite expensive and she tried not to ask her parents for financial assistance. She had to learn, how to be more practical with her purchases. She mostly spend her salary on the house rent, food, school tuition and her kids need. She barely spend for herself, except for the surgery on her face.
Since she's the only one working, her kids are very considerate, they are not asking her for more expensive toys. But they ask his Uncle Mark and Aunt Lindsey whenever they visit her.
"Yehey! Love you mommy! The triplet said at the same time.
"Euni, it is our happiness to spoil the kids and it is the parents responsibility to discipline them." Aunt Sol said to her "Looking at them, they are well rounded, you made a good job in raising them.
"Let us help you, I know its not an easy job being the only parent, but were here now. You don't need to be alone." Her mother said
"Yes, please also bring them to the party next weekend. Its my mother in law 70th birthday party."
No, her minds scream, grandma Mila, is very smart and she's afraid that she can see beyond their appearance.
She used to be close to grandma Mila and after 5 years of not visiting her, she is not sure if their relationship will be the same.
"The party is at night, it wont be good for them to stay out longer, they will be tyrant in the morning.
"No worries, I'll prepare a room for them and one hour extension from their sleeping schedule is not bad. There will other kids at the party since it is a private party and mostly attendees are family and close friends.
She just smile. How can I say no, it is always hard for her to say no to Aunt Sol even before.
Even with all her reminder not to spoil the kids, her mother and Aunt are all out in decorating the kids rooms. Her mother decided to extend the kids room by combining two rooms. Aside from that, there is also the old playroom that she renovate to suit the triplets, with all the modern gadgets and expensive toys.
"Okay you can enjoy all those gadgets and toys here but when we go back to america, don't ask mommy to buy you guys all those expensive toys.
"Cant we bring it back." Eddy pouted
"Sweetie our house is not big and mommy is not rich, remember."
"Why cant we stay here forever, grandpa insist that we live here so we can play with our toys." Devin ask his mother, hopeful that his mother will decide to live in A City.
"Because, we have our house in america and minnie (their cat) is with Lala remember. You mean you no longer want minnie because of all the toys that you have here.
Her son's think seriously, like weighing what he like the most. "Oh, minnie is in good hand, Lala love her very much. I can get another minnie. Grandmama asked if we want a dog."
"Can we get a dog mommy." Andrei ask with a puppy eyes.
"Still no. We can't bring the dog back home. Plus it will be a big responsibility to take care of the dog. We cant ask the helper to do it for you guys. Probably in 3 years time, if you guys can take care of it. You guys will do all the work from feeding, bathing and cleaning their poop.
"Eeww mommy! the triplets said
"See, big responsibility unless you want our house to smell poop all day or I'll put the dog in your room guys so your room will smell poop all day." She joke with them. Her kids doesn't like dirty places or getting dirty. Another behavior that they got from their father, being neat freak.
"Wow, mommy you look very beautiful." Eddy hug her mother
"Mommy don't wear your eye glass, it doesn't match your outfit." Andrei told her mother, he wants his daddy to see how beautiful her is.
"But I have a poor eyesight." She complaint. though she is close to the Miller family, they are her sister's family officially. She doesn't want to get attention to herself. Her kids will surely attentions so she doesn't want to add more, less Sheldon will think that she is getting the limelight from his wife.
"Mommy, this is just a reading glass, remember, you have 20/20 vision." Andrei stated. "I will keep for the meantime." He put the eye glass in the drawer.
"Andrei, we talked last night, no more tricks on your dad. The less interaction with him, the less he will find out." She used her mother tone to show them how serious she it.
"When you all grow up, when you can decide on your own guys, I will let you tell him, but not at this time." Eunice added
"On our next birthday, mommy we grow this big, so can we tell him." Eddy ask innocently
"When you all turn 18th."
"We're four mommy." Devin compute in his fingers. "Ha! 13th more."
"That is a long time." Andrei exhale
"But it means that you will stay with mommy for a long long time." Eunice spread her arms wide "Like this and until you guys grow tall like this, much taller than mommy."
"Taller like daddy" Andrei said, she looked at her three sons that are seating on her bed. They are growing up and she knew that they are longing for their father's love and she felt sad that no matter what she do, she can't provide them a whole family.
Maybe I can start dating, so they can have stepfather
"Mommy, can we tell kids in school that we daddy so they will stop bullying us that we don't have a father. Maybe i'll have picture with daddy to show them" Eddy ask her mother
Again her sadness, she pity her kids that they need to fight in school for something that they didn't ask for. She felt a failure that she cant protect her children from those malicious person.
She is aware of that incident since every week, she needs to go to her kids school to pick up her kids at the principal's office because of fighting.
"I'm sorry sweetie. Mommy can't protect you."
"Mommy don't be sad, we can take care of ourselves, even if daddy is not with us." Andrei hugged his mother
"Yes, mommy those bullies are weak, we can fight them." Devin also hug his mother
"Mommy, hug hug." Eddy also join the group hug
" Maybe I can start dating so I can find you guys a father." She suddenly said
"NO." The triplets said
"We don't need new daddy, we have one." Eddy said
"Oh maybe you can date, just to have fun but don't take them seriously." Andrei said, maybe their dad will feel jealous if he can see his mother with another guy just like on those drama in TV. Hmmm that can be a plan. They will need to find a pretend date for mommy. Maybe Aunt Lindsey can help them.
"I'll think about it later but for the meantime, let's go to party. Be sure to behave and be polite to the elder, okay.
"Let's go, let's party." Eddy jump, this will be their first time to attend a party. All the children parties that they attended was held in their school room. It's boring though the food is nice.

She drive her car going to the Miller residence, her plan is to leave before the kids bed time. Though Aunt Sol recommended that the kids can stay overnight, she didn't like to stay.
"Okay, we're here! Kids don't roam around and always stay with mommy.
"Wow mommy, their house is gigantic." Amazement is evident on Eddy's voice, he is always fascinated by beautiful and expensive things.
"Yes, make sure to always keep me in your sight, you might get lost and mommy wont be able to find you. Mommy will miss little Eddy a lot and will not sleep until I find you. Okay, promise me." Eddy has the tendency to be fascinated with all the things inside the house.
"Yes, mommy promise." Eddy said
"Don't touch their things, if any of you broke anything, we cant afford to pay it. Their furnitures is imported and expensive." She talked like she can't afford to pay anything expensive. With her salary, she can pay it but they need to cut off on some expenses. Like no eating out and minimize their electricity use. Her mother, gave her a black card to use and she knows that it has no limit but she don't plan on using it.
She wants to provide for her kids on her own hard work. Maybe she got used to a simple life with her kids. She felt more accomplish, being able to be their sole provider.
She works as a jewelry designer in Boston, it is not a big company but they are slowly making a name in the industry. Her boss is happy with her works, since it is always a hit and if their success continue, she will be one of the partner. It means an extra income for her.
She close her own shop since she want to cut her tie in A City. Bennison Co. is her last client. She only submitted her design via email and she make an excuse not attend the product launched.
"Devin promised."
"Scout promise mommy." They both salute to her mother to her amazement.
"Eunice, I got worried that you will change your mind." Aunt Sol said when they enter the house. She leave Uncle Ed and went to welcome them.
"Hello, grandmama." The kids greeted and kiss Aunt Sol one by one.
"Oh, how lovely! They are so cute in tux. Come i'll introduce you to another lovely lady. You can call her great grandmama." She hold the two kids on each hands and guide them in front. "Andrei, hold hand with Devin." Andrei obediently hold Devin's hand though he felt, its not needed, since he is holding his mother's hand.
"She will be surprised Euni to see you. She's asking you every get together." Aunt Sol inform her while walking to the front. She is a regular visitor before and granny Mila like her very much probably because then, she only has grandsons. Now she has a lot.
She look around to see familiar faces. Mostly the Miller's clan and few executives from the Miller companies. It is truly a private party for family and selected people only.
"Mother, look who I got here to greet you a happy birthday." Aunt Sol told her mother when they are at the presidential table.
Grandma Mila, turn to look at her daughter in law. When she see Eunice, she smile immediately but it also disappear as fast as it happens. "Its great news that you can still remember me Euni, I thought you will only visit me on my funeral." Granny Mila said angrily but she knows that it is because she miss her.
"Granny, you are still strong like a bull. I miss you." She hug Granny Mila, despite her displeasure. "Your angry and it seem that you never miss me. Maybe I can go home and wait till you forgive me." she pouted and tried to use reverse psychology, it is always effective with granny Mila. She has soft spot for her, always.
"I have gift for you. I designed it specially for you." she continue to coax Granny Mila
"Hmmmp"
"If you don't want it, I'll give it to Aunt Sol." She said teasing the old lady.
"Ma forgive Euni, she has more surprise for you. You wont be able to meet them, if you keep on pouting."
"I don't pout, hmmmp, Make sure that I will like your gift otherwise, I'll make you attend a retreat in a mountainous area."
"Yes, you are a very special lady and deserves nothing but special gift." Eunice present her a customize hair comb hairpin, with lots of mini blue diamond design. She made it prior to going back in A City. She gave Aunt Sol a brooch pin and her mother a bracelet with charms. First letter of her son's name. Mother love it very much and she started wearing it as soon as gave it to her.
"This is nice but not enough to pacify me." Granny Mila said but small is evident in her eyes.
"How about I introduce you to my three adorable kids. They are cuter than me."
"Euni, what are you doing for the last 5 years, we didn't even know that you are married. If I didn't know that you only have eyes on Sheldon, I will have married you to my other grandson." Now shocks was evident on granny Mila's face, she didn't how to explain her situation.
"Its a long story granny for another day. Today is your party so you ought to just have fun. I'm sorry for stressing you. I shouldn't be here and just visit you another day." Eunice apologize , granny love her like her own grandchild and she shouldn't make her unhappy on her birthday.
"Yes, you should be, your stressing grandma." Sheldon arrive with Bernice on his arm.
"Non-sense, I am happy that you're back. I am not happy that you keep something from us. When did you marry.
"That's the thing grandma, she went abroad and still unsuccessful. She's unmarried with kids." Sheldon is unhappy with Eunice and cant stop criticizing her decision in life.
Inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale. Eunice tried to calm herself so she wont retaliate and embarrass herself.
"Sheldon, that's enough." Aunt Sol reprimand Sheldon before it went bad. Those two are always cat and mouse. It is not good that the children can witness their disagreement.
"Grandma, Sheldon is right, I'm still unmarried, still unsuccessful but I didn't regret it since I have three adorable little kids."
"That is wrong, my mommy has a stable job in Boston. Uncle Steve will make my mommy partner, if the company continue to grow." Andrei interrupt the elder to depend her mommy. He glared at his daddy for bullying his mommy. He is now having a second thought in making them together. If their daddy continue to bully mommy, she will not be happy.
"And who are you?" granny Mila ask the kid in a softer voice.
"I am sorry, great grandmama, I am not supposed to intrude on the elder conversation but da-- I mean Uncle Sheldon is bullying my mommy. I need to protect mommy. I am Andrei Robinson by the way and these are my brother." He prompted his brother to introduce themselves.
"Hello lovely great grandmama, I am Devin Robinson. I am the middle child." He kissed granny Mila. "Happy birthday"
"And I am Eddy. Lovely to meet you great grandmama. Happy birthday." Eddy also hug and kiss granny Mila. "Please don't be mad at my mommy. It isn't her fault that our father doesn't love our mommy.
"And we don't need him." Andrei added and he is still glaring at Sheldon.
Suddenly, he felt that Andrei is addressing him. That they don't need him and he doesn't like it, one bit. Weird, I am not their father. Sheldon didn't like that the kids is now disregarding their father. He felt sad.
But at the same time, he felt angry at the man. How can he abandon his kids. He wanted to be a father badly and he cant imagine leaving his kid.
How did Eunice survive those years, alone in america without the support of her family. Without the wealth that she's enjoying since birth. He wanted to know what happened to Eunice in those 5 years.
If she can only learn to make good decision in life and love life. She will not suffer and end up, unmarried.
Granny Mila is looking intently at the kids, they are so familiar but she cant pin point why, with their blonde locks and eye glass. They didn't look like Eunice so how come, it seems that she saw them before.
"How old are you."
"We are now 4."

The triplet said at the same time, also they show 4 with their fingers.
"They are just three." Aunt Sol corrected
"Hahaha, my kids are learning numbers now and they good at it." she is nervous but she tried to keep herself calm. She noticed that granny Mila is looking intently at the kids, she needs to cut her observation.
"Whose hungry." Eunice asked the kids, they all said yes.
"Granny, please excuse us, i'll get food for the kids and we will sit at our designated seat. Happy birthday once again.
"Sheldon, help Eunice get the food for the kids and be back here. I want to sit with my great grandchildren." Granny Mila said without the room for negotiation.
"I volunteer, I think it is better, if I will be the one to help my nephews. Sheldon might..." Bernice volunteer, for some reason she doesn't want Sheldon to be closed with Eunice kids but she was cut off by granny Mila
"No, let them be, it is better that Sheldon will get closer to the kids. Get used to it. It will be his practice once she got his sons." Granny Mila insist that Sheldon help the kids
"Got his son." Bernice said confused by the statement
"Yeah, while waiting for you to be pregnant."
"Oh, I'm praying granny." Bernice sweetly smile at granny Mila, for some reason, she always felt indifferent from grandma. No matter what she do, she failed to replace Eunice or be at the level of their closeness.
"Now go!" he prompted Sheldon and Eunice "the kids are hungry
"Common sweetie! Let's get you full." she gather the kids, she cant refuse granny Mila's command so they went to the buffet table with Sheldon tailing them. On the way to the buffet table, Eddy waited for Sheldon and hold his hand then Eddy requested to be carried.
Sheldon, carried her son without thinking that his clothes will be ruined.
"Mommy, can you take a picture of me and Uncle Sheldon. Please, pretty please." Eddy asked his mother using eyes puppy eyes. She wanted to refuse but then she remember that her kids are bullied in school because of not having a father. I guess, this picture will stop it. So she took Eddy's first photo with his father. The kids take their turn for a photo.
In the eyes of every guest, they look like a family.
