Chapter 8 Bella rescued Veronica from Lucifer's power

Veronica pov

(Yawns)

I reached out for my phone beside the bed and look at the time.

I rubbed my lips and smiled.

I now wake up with a smiling face ever since I started living with Damon.

"But come to think of, where is Damon?"I asked myself looking around the room but no sign of him.

"Ohh..he is in his training room I guess"I said stepping down from the bed.

I step into the bathroom and took a quick shower.

"I really need to see Lucifer!"I said smiling and bathing so fast.

I step out of the shower, it and pick a towel from the rail wrapped it around my waist and opened the closet.

As I opened the door,my phone beep.

A smile appears on my face.

"So he can't stay a day without hearing my voice"I said referring to Damon with a happy face but my smiling face got sour when the person that was calling me is Pamela my phone.

"Hello"I said feeling angry.

"Hey babe..how are you doing?"she asked but am not in the mood for that,I just said"Pamela get to the business,I don't have strength"

"Ohh"she said.

"I saw Damon near a restaurant, are you with him?"she asked

"What are you saying?"I asked her not being sure of what I heard.

"I said that Damon is in a restaurant!"she stated again.

My body started shaking.

"I thought he is at home!"I whispered softly to myself.

"Please send me the address Immediately"I said and disconnect the call without hearing from her.

I don't take chances when it comes to Lucifer.

I dropped my phone and quickly dried my body before applying my body lotion.

I wear my underwear followed by a red light top.

I selected a pink shoe and slipped my foot inside.

Within a second, Pamela sent me the address.

I jumped to the front of the mirror, picked an hair brush, brushed back my hair,then applied little hair oil.

Am done.

I picked up my phone and rushed downstairs.

Damon's pov

I have waited for Bella for over two hours before I then remember where she worked.

When I arrived there, she was moping the floor so I had to wait for a moment.

"Good morning sir!"Bella greeted as soon as she finished moping.

"Morning!"I replied, looking at her from head to toe.

"She is extremely beautiful!"I said in my mind while her head was bow.

"What does he want?"she said in her mind forgetting the fact that I can remember minds.

"Am here to apologize for what happened!"I said and she looked at me with her eyes wide open.

Probably thinking how I got to know.

"I have accepted your apologize,can I go?"she asked about to turn when her chain she was putting on hanged on my shirt.

Bella's pov

When I wanted to pull away,my chain get hanged up in his shirt.

I was expecting to shout at me but what I saw was a cute smile.

He looked at me before laughing slightly. I watched him in confusion as he removed the chain from his shirt.

"So.....!!"my voice was cut short when Veronica Walked in.

"Wow!!wow!!..the almighty Lucifer is busy with his slut"she said and I bit my lips.

Damon look at her and grab her hands to the extent that she started crying.

"Ouch... you are hurting me"she said.

I wanted to laugh but I restricted myself.

"Bitch,I have told you to stop following me around like a puppy"Damon said finally leaving her hands.

She breathed erratically and look at me while I cover my mouth from laughing.

"So is because of this bitch that made you leave the house very early in the morning huh"Veronica said.

Damon's fist has changed and his eyes has become more darker.

Within a twink of an eye, Veronica was hanging up on the wall, struggling to free herself.

I have never seen Damon this way.

"Damon stop!" I yelled Immediately but he didn't replied me so I had to climb on top of his back, giving Veronica the chance to escape.

"Bella get down"he roared.

But I was determined to free Veronica.

"Let her go!"I pleaded still on his back.
