Chapter 5 Five

ALDREN

"Aldren, where's your sister? the party is about to start " I was entertaining some of our relatives and guests, I looked around in the area looking for Amanda at the crowd but there's no sign of her "She's not here"

I kept on looking for her around me, mom tapped me by the shoulders and told me to go and look for her before the party starts. I began on walking and thinking that I should go and check where I left them a while ago, as I turn to the right, I saw Tyson in front of me startled and shocked as he saw my face.

"Tyson, where's my sister?" he was nervous looking at me asking him where my sister was, he opened his mouth but before he could speak, I cut him off from answering me "Did you left her?"

"Actually"

"Hello?" I looked behind him and I saw Crystal holding Amanda's arm, guiding her to walk towards us. "Amanda's with me, there's no need for you to growl at her friend" Crystal said rolling her eyes

"Where have you been?"

"I helped Tyson to guide Amanda from walking to the venue, Amanda needs go to the bathroom for a while and I accompanied her. Why?" She said using her bossy voice with her hands on her waist, raising a brow at me.

"Just asking, Mom's looking for you, Amanda"

"lets go now Crystal" they continued walking leaving me and Tyson behind, as they got a little far, I elbowed Tyson on his stomach leaving him grunting.

"Ow, what was that for?"

"Do you have a crush on my sister? "

"Wait what?" he said confused "What do you mean?"

"Come on don't play dumb, look! you're blushing" I teased him while he's still holding his tummy from what I did earlier "You're planning on courting her, don't you?"

"Huh? what are you talking about?"

"Then prove it to me, why are you stuttering?" I asked him and he still has this confused look on his face looking at me

"Because you elbowed me on my stomach, and it's a bit painful?" I looked at him and sighed, crossed my arms while he's slowly recovering from what I did "Also, how do I prove it to you that I'm not planning on what you're thinking about me, on your sister?"

"Come with me, mom ordered me to buy something from the store"

"That's all?" I frowned at his question "I mean, you don't have to elbow me if you only want me to prove it come with you at the store?" I stare at him and he smiled at me like a clown.

"Do you want me to do that again?" he shakes his head from side to side and mouthed a No answer and I smiled and wrapped my right arms to his shoulders tightly. We immediately start walking to say goodbye to mom and my sister, to let them know we are going "Mom! We're leaving now"

"All right, wait!" we stopped and faced at my mom "Who's that with you?" mom asked

"Ah, Tyson, Amanda's friend and also my friend too, he's our neighbor "

"You better come back right away; I'll be waiting for your gift! " I saw Amanda smile at me

"Ah, what are they going to buy, auntie?"

"Mom, I'll leave Amanda to you, we're going now." We immediately got inside my car. While going to where we are heading, Tyson jammed some songs in the stereo, Minutes later Tyson asked me a question while I drive.

"So, what are we going to buy, by the way?" he asked while my eyes are watching a glimpse from the rear-view mirror, not so long we arrived at the large convenience store and I parked right away.

"Get down, and go take a look on what I brought in the luggage" we immediately got out of the car and he went to the luggage and followed him. "Did you see that?"

"Beer? Are you the only one who will drink all that?" I hit him in the head playfully and he looked at me confused and giving me a what look

"What do you think of me?! Do you think I can drink all of those?"

"No, but are you buying these for whom?" I stare at him for a second and sighed, and gathered some patience from the sky above

"Mom asked me a favor to buy some for the guests since it finished" I closed the luggage and I saw him carrying some cases walking towards the store "Hey! Where are you going?"

"Here, you said we'll go buy and get some"

"Yes, but let me go in first" I just held its glass door, I immediately felt something strange, cold and heavy. There are some enemies here, I hope I'm wrong.

"Well, this seems exciting, Let's go get it"

"The beer?" I sighed and face palm "What? You act so different, what's wrong?"

"Nothing, let's just get inside now." It was very quiet when I entered, only the sound of music in the speaker is all I heard. All I can see is the cashier at the front desk beside by the door, looking at me calmly and I try to act calmly and normal while I looked at her, and gave her an innocent smile and I began counting. While Tyson and I were walking, heading to the beer section I counted what I saw along the way, then I saw three people pretending to be buyers Two, Three, Four

"Tyson, get three beers, anything will do" he immediately took a beer but I felt that those three that people that I counted are pretending to be buyers were approaching me

"Here, Aldre-Whoa!!" I immediately grab those beers from Tyson's hand and hit those persons in the head and the other two persons I throwed bottle at them but they got up after they've been hit by me

"You guys are really hard headed, yeah? "

"Have you lost your mind?!"Tyson screamed a little and looks at me "Why did you beat and hit them with those?"

"Stop asking questions! Let's go get in the car-"

"Ack-" Tyson was grabbed by the collar on the back of his neck, he was caught by the cashier that I made an eye contact with earlier and she got some bottle on his hand. She broke it making the bottle as a sharp weapon pointing it to Tyson's neck.

"One wrong move, and I will kill him" she threatened

"Miss, you know that you're a girl, I don't want to hurt girls, so please let him go-" I was just shocked when Tyson's two hands suddenly had fire flaming into his hands and he choked the girl and suddenly turned it into ashes

"Why didn't you tell me you have an enemy following you?!" his eyes were red like flames.

"Correction, its 'Us'. We are in this together" I said pointing him and myself "And also, you're a fire user, why didn't you tell me from the start that you are one of the special ones?"

"I was expecting you already knew, I sensed you the first time i met you-" I signaled him to stop talking, we slowly looked on the floor and suddenly the ashes were moving like sand and forms into a human shape, it was the girl that pretends to be the cashier in the store "She's an Ash user"

"Let's just talk in the car" he nodded, Tyson threw a fire ball to the girl and we immediately ran to the car and drove fast because we were being followed not only the four of those guys but there are three cars were chasing us right now.

"What now?! three cars are now chasing us" I tightened my grip on the steering wheel "Aldren?" I looked back on the rear-view mirror; those were the cars that are following us earlier before we got in the store.

"Don't worry, We can beat them, a rainbow and fire user vs three cars!" Tyson looked at me in disbelief when he saw my eyes.

"Rainbow, you're a rainbow user?!" he said to me in shock, still the cars were still following us from the back

"Isn't it obvious?" I smirked "you can even see my two eyes right-" someone crashed into in to the back of our car "my neck!"

"W-Wait, you're speeding. Isn't that dangerous?! "

"Just wear a seatbelt" I looked at the them again and smiling holding the wheel "You want speed? I'll give you speed, Hold on" I stepped on the gas and speeded up the car, and already have a plan.

"Tyson, get ready. This is the plan, while I drive, Use the fireball or the flaming chains, target their tires, their cars are fast so if their tires explode, there's a possibility that we will win here. "

"How sure are you that is going to work? how do you know that i know fire chain-"

"I am a rainbow user; I can use all eye elements and so on" I opened the car window above us, he looked up and gave me a shock reaction on his eyes. "You go up there".

"Are you sure we can rock them?" he stood up on the car seat

"We only have the same speed limit of those three cars that are following us" he took something from the compartment and threw it at him, he began climbing outside and gained his balance by sitting first.

"Those are chains and gloves" I immediately handed him over the chain and he caught it

"Don't you dare break the car all of a sudden." he immediately climbed onto the roof of the car, and I scoffed at what he says. This kid can read my mind sometimes "Looks like we've got more company" he said, I looked into the mirror and saw more are coming

"Is that the fastest you can get, Aldren? Step on the gas will 'ya?" he said making me smirk.

"As you wish"
