Jasper pov

she stood in front of me without saying a word

"were you not going to answer me before?" I asked her

She stops at the spot she is without a single word coming out of her until she finally responds "am going back home, I shouldn't have answered you and come here" she turned back in the direction of her house

"stop" I used my alpha voice on her cause I don't have any other choice. Her wolf whine at my tone and she bowed her head in respect " am sorry, I just want to go back home" she said so quickly

"your home is in the pack now, you are moving in after your birthday, that what I came here to do" I didn't have any other choice, she is already be marked and she will be going into her heat after her birthday, I will rather die than see any other male wolf close to her

"I can't move in, your girlfriend is living there with you, I don't want trouble"

"you should have to think about that before you let me mark you, you should have stopped it from happening, you caused this upon yourself, deal with it" I screamed at her in anger, why can't she understand I don't have choices here

"am your mate, why are you doing this to me"

"I love Brenda, she will be my Luna, the wolf that wants you not me "

He growled at her "she will be your Luna and you will respect her"

"She will never be my Luna"

I walked out of him and went home. Immediately I entered the house, I saw my parent and brother waiting for me

"Is it true, you will be the Luna of our pack?" my father asked with happiness but I just shook my head

"Brenda is going to be the next Luna " tears falling from my face

"that slut cannot be our Luna," my brother said

"he marked you, that means he wants you," my father said inspecting my neck

"my wolf persuade his wolf, he wanted to reject me "

My mother just hugged me, she must have known the pain am passing through " it's okay my daughter, go and shower and come and have your dinner, he did not worth your tears "

" Next week is your birthday, you should invite your friends so you could forget about this". My brother included, he must have forgotten I don't have friends

I saw the look on their faces, they all pity me, I was shattered on the inside and the only thing comforting me was the mark on my neck cause it making Sky happy, at least one of us is happy.

JASPER POV

Immediately I got home, I just went up to my room, I was devastated, was still thinking about her when Brenda entered my room crying and I could see some bruises on her "Jasper, is it truly"

"The truth about what" I was confused, what happened to her

"you found your mate today" oh my God, not this mate topic again

" Who told you, and how did you get these bruises" pitying her, I pulled her close to console her

" it's Danny, he said I should leave you and that you are his sister mate, is it true," she asked again with tears on her eyes ruining her heavy makeup and fake eyelashes, how the hell did I fall in love with her in the first place

I controlled my reaction "yes but it you that I love, and you know that Brenda, I don't want her"

"Really," she asked looking into my eyes, I could only nod cause it's a lie, I only want my mate and it's only her thoughts that filled my head "I already told you to remove Danny from being your beta, see what he did to me"

" Am sorry about him, I can't remove him"

Brenda signed cause she knew she wasn't going to win the argument "I can't wait to become the Luna of our pack"

Am done for and Danny will surely pay for this, why will he need to confront Brenda, am still his alpha, sister, or no sister, he should have consulted me first. I drew Brenda closer to me and press my lip to hers cause I needed a release and fuck if I let this opportunity pass me by.

"You will hurt mate" my wolf finally said, I also chose to ignore him cause definitely, two can play the game

Brenda was moaning into our kiss, I don't feel any spark like I do with Rose but I continue and my wolf keeps crying in my head still I pay no attention to it. I remove her blouse and keep kissing her, my hand then rested on her thighs "I love you, Brenda, never doubt that" I said trying to convince myself and then a thought came to me, maybe if I mark her, Rose mark will disappear and I will not have to worry about the mate thing

"Don't please" my wolf pleaded with me

I don't understand why my wolf can't reason with me and see why I don't want to have a mate, she is going to make them weak and the pain they will go through if they see her in pain "I have to, we can't always protect her, we are doing this to protect her"

Not to make it weirder for Brenda who was staring at me, I shut out my wolf and touch her, this is to show how much I love and care about you, I gently turn her head and my lips found the sweetest spot where I was going to lay mark, she clings unto me as I buried my teeth into her neck, her scream of pain jolts me back into reality and I discovered I can't mark her except if I reject Rose

"Jasper, am burning, what is wrong with me"

I can't tell her it's my fault, I just quickly mind link the pack doctor that he was needed "I don't know, but the pack doctor will soon be here"
