Chapter 2 Awkward Moments

Sliding my body on the floor my back against the door I feel defeated because I work so hard to stay away from Trevor not fall into his trap now look at me I'm freaking married to the man what makes matters worse is the fact that he keep saying his name is not Trevor like I'm stupid I will never forget those gray eyes that look like I can see through is brain maybe then I would understand the things that he does you know what is still confusing me is the fact that my best friend knows how I feel about him she invited him into the wedding and didn't even tell me or give me a heads up what kind of friend is that it's more than an invite the man is the groom best man I deserve to have know about that I guess that's why she never really said his name to me cause she kept saying the best man this, best man that now I got her I have a bone to pick with her when We get back home tomorrow , picking myself up from the floor I went to get change since Sylvia wants to have a big breakfast before we leave this afternoon for our flight it's more like a big brunch to be honest since it's around noon that means I will have to see his stinking ass next to me throwing the paper in my bag so I don't leave it here when I'm leaving I already back most of my stuff I don't need the headache of last minute packing. As I was putting I'm in my make up there was a knock on my door went to see who it is, it was my so call best friend standing in front of me on a short white strapless dress that barely covers anything I don't how she feels comfortable In those reviling clothes It took out a lot of me to have my shoulder out I know it sound crazy but I'm not as confident as she is on her own skin it's something that I'm working on believe me pulling me out of my thoughts I saw her waving her hands on my face " did I lost you in there?" Slapping her finger away from poking Me in my forehead " yeah for a minute now I'm back". " do you want to talk about". do I yes is right now the right time no so shake my head no and she drops it ,checking myself one last time we made our way out of the room to the little cabana that we were using it was very intimate everything was white the lights were up on the wall there were some on the long square table with its on decorations the way the sitting were you can speak with anyone in front ,or on each sides of you leaving me to stand by the table alone Silvia went to her fiancé Peter I make myself busy by looking for my sit I saw that I was sitting between the best man and a bridesmaid . I was considering on changing seat Silvia most have seen that on my face she came next to me " don't you dear ,Why are you trying to change your seat?" Before I could say anything to her guests started to arrived everyone taking there sit so does he right next to me.

" ain't you going to sit Babydoll?" There he goes again with his nick name for me I can't stand the man I wish this brunch would move a little faster with my stiff body I sat in the chair next to him my plan was to ignore him through out the all thing but there's no chance of that happening when he say to my hear " you are looking so sexy in that dress Wifey" he makes me wants to vomit how dare him talking to me like that " stop harassing" moving my chair a little closer to the bridesmaid that didn't go unnoticed because a noisy woman say " what's going on Chantel? Why I didn't you like woman from the way you moving towards sky like that" she is lucky I can't smash her face into that potato salad she having to make matters worse he open his mouth and say " well she opening to the idea for us to have a threesome isn't that great ladies?" Giving them one of his many winning smiles and they fall for it pinching his leg I say " I didn't need your help, I had it under control"

" didn't look that way to me, beside what kind of husband would I be if I don't help my wife"

" shut it, I'm getting an annulment as soon as we get back home"

" we will see about that Babydoll" he told me with a wink I can't believe this does he really believe that we are going to play house once we get back home hell no.

The waiter came with our menus I look it over I order some French toast with eggs and sausage with a mango mimosa, while Trevor gets a stack of chocolate pancakes with bacon and no eggs that's strange " since when don't you eat eggs and when did you start liking chocolate pancakes?" Giving me a weird look he say " I'm always like that " rolling my eyes at his lies " he say I don't know what you want me to do for you to believe" what I want him to do is something that he won't be able to accomplish it's hard for some people give up lying but him, he is taking this to a whole knew level " whatever you say ,it's not me you lying to but yourself" I told him at the same time the waiter was bringing up my food he has great timing the smell of the food make my mouth watering without thinking too much about it I dig in the food was divine I'm glad Silvia decide to this i Didn't have to go looking for a place to eat.

Almost forgot that Trevor was next to me it wasn't until he say " i see you enjoying your food ,I'm glad" raising my eyebrows at him. " by the sounds that you making I can tell" I quickly stop I didn't even know I was making any noise until he point it out ,ignoring him I finished my food I ask the waiter for some more water when he came to clean the table looking at the time I waive at Silvia to let her know it's time to put a stop to this amazing brunch everyone was done eating we were just chatting picking up her glass she got everyone attentions " I'm glad that you guys were able to make it to enjoy my beautiful day with me , thank you all now that brunch is over it's time for us to get ready for real life , everyone good flight and thank you again." Everyone was clapping and hugging after I say my goodbyes I made my exit from the tent real quiet and fast I don't want to bump into unpleasant guest.
