Chapter 4 Episode 2.1 & 3.0

Out of sheer annoyance, Sofia just looked away. But when she looked to her left, she noticed a familiar face, which caused her to panic from her seat.

"Selin! Selin!" Sofia touches Selin's arm who is now quietly watching the crowded market.

"What is it, Miss Sofia? What makes you confused?" Selin asked confusingly.

"Look at that!" She pointed at a tall man wearing a white coat and black pants. Shee looked at it closely.

"Who?"

"There! Isn't that Felipe?" Selin was shocked by what her boss said.

"Are you sure, Señorita Sofia?!"

"Yes!" definitely saying it. "Please, let me follow him first! You know how long I've been waiting for him to come back!" She cupped his palm across her chest, she was now facing Selin.

"What if you just looked wrong?" said Selin.

"It's my heart that he said that!" emphasis of Sofia.

Selin is still hesitant to release her boss. If she lost sight of it and could not be found, it would surely be the end of her work, and she did not want it to happen. But her compassion and trust in her boss prevailed.

"Remember this, come back here immediately when you prove that Señor Felipe is that man or not. I don't want us to be ruined by your mother!" Selin said nervously.

Sofia nodded willingly and hugged her doncella tightly. Sofia eventually let go of the hug." Promise, I will not be lost with you." At the same time the height of her right hand signals commitment.

"I have full trust in you, Señorita Sofia. Be careful." Selin smiled.

Sofia nodded and smiled before turning her back on her doncella. At the same time, he carefully chased after the man who looked like Felipe so that he would not collide with the people.

She also finds it difficult to chase the man, apart from the crowded place where they are also a corner away from each other. But Sofia was not discouraged, she still tried to chase the man.

But she was about to pass the corner when suddenly a buffalo passed by with a cart of vegetables and even beat the young ladies when they walked. He was slightly bored with the delicate movements of the buffalo. He was rubbed on her forehead and discarded the sweat that had accumulated on her forehead. As time went on the man got farther and farther away and she also had a hard time seeing it.

She didn't even miss every second that dripped. She searched for the far end of the vegetable cart and there she continued chasing the man.

In the bright sunlight, there is a woman who does not despair of finding only the man she thinks is Felipe.

As time went on, she was two corners away from the man. She thought of riding in a kalesa but did not have any money or anything of value. He was carrying the gold necklace and bracelet, she could not give it to anyone because these things were important.

She could do nothing but run. Sweat and fatigue are not an obstacle to just follow the man.

She suddenly stopped running because she was only ten steps away from the man. It overlooks the wide river and elegantly stands on it.

"Wait, this is the river that my mother said earlier in the carriage, ah! If I'm not mistaken, this is the Dumacaa River!" he exclaimed to himself while smiling.

She also did not expect to be out of the market. It would definitely be hard for her to get back to her doncella because she no longer knew the way back. Apart from that, she was also not sure that Felipe was the man looking at the Dumacaa River. She seems to have broken up with her mother.

She could not believe that she was standing in this place, as if her mother had been crossing this road for a while but now she was free to step on the grass and feel the fresh air. Unlike in the market, here the sun is less straight and the atmosphere is also windy.

Scattered around are a variety of trees such as Narra, Mahogany and Ipil-ipil. There are also fruits such as Mango, Santol, Papaya and Avocado.

As she marveled at the sight, the tall man, only ten steps apart, suddenly spoke, "Like you ... you also love beautiful scenery." Sofia was surprised because her voice was also familiar to her.

She can't be wrong that this is the voice of his youth, it has deepened a little because of adolescence but she is not really can go wrong!

The man spoke again once it turned its back on him. "How are you, Sofia." Felipe smiled.

She almost pushed herself to stand where she was because she had found the man she had admired and loved since she was only twelve years old, eight years ago.

[Chapter 3]

A FEW hours passed but Sofia's shadow still did not return to where she and Selin were sitting under the tall tree just on the right side of the market row. Selin is worried now because her boss Doña Felicia will return at any moment.

In less than five minutes, she could see Doña Felicia. She was so bitten on her index finger because she did not know what to do because up to this time her boss still could not return.

She stood up straight when Doña Felicia confronted him. "Where is Señorita Sofia, my daughter you take care of?" Selin bowed to the ground which surprised Doña.

She looked around at the concrete floor and suddenly thought of a strong and effective excuse.

"Don't say-" Selin immediately cut off her boss's intention to say. "S-S-senora Sofia just w-went to the bathroom!" she excuses, she tries not to stutter but fear dominates her thinking.

"Why aren't you with her? This market is huge, she could get lost!" Doña Felicia's voice became so worry.
