Chapter 2 Running away

Two years later!

Jhonia is now 20 years of age. She spent her two years learning how to fight! How to sneak and take photos of other people for blackmailing work of course, for her uncle. It became a part of her, to use evidence as a way to protect and have people do as her uncle says.

She was very smart and good at what she does but that wasn't enough. The day before... She met a group of men who tried to have their ways with her but failed! The present time...

A group of men shows up at her uncle Bryane place as she was leaving to go to her job. "Hey! Sweet thing... How are your parents?" The man with a small tattoo on his face asked?

He moved his hands to her face and she boxes it away. "Don't touch me!" She demanded. Her uncle came out and stand watching them.

"You little bitch!" He said to her, as two of his men hold her by both arms. He was getting ready to slap her when she lifted her foot and kicked him, he stepped back and drop.

He pulled out his gun pointing it at her. "You!" He said, walking back to her.

"That's enough. Eric, if you kill the girl you won't get back your money." Bryane said to him.

"Right! Right!" He responded putting the gun away.

"Jhonia, don't trust anyone." Her mother's words replay in her head! She smiled and swung both her arms from the two men withholding her.

"Her parents are gone. This is your doing as well! Why don't you let the girl go?" Bryane asked? The man walked over to Bryane. Laughing! He stood next to Bryane looking at Jhonia.

"Their deaths or not of mine to care. See? I only want my money... Find my money are I'm going to start killing and this time I won't stop!!!" He said, to Bryane while looking at Jhonia.

"I understand! I will work something out "as always." Come on, "let's talk about it together and come to a conclusion." Shall we?" Bryane said, askingly to the man.

Jhonia marks his words carefully. These are words he used with people he is working with. Those who are close to him! Those with who he does fifty - fifty business profits with.

"Jhoni-ni, why don't you leave us to work this out." He said to Jhonia, she smiled and left. He and the others watched Jhonia leave before they turned around and entered the house.

"Wtf?" The man remarked from the pain he felt from the punch Bryane gave him. "Jhoni-ni is very smart if she finds out the truth? I will make sure she gets rid of you first." Bryane said to him.

"She owes us five million dollars due to her parents. It's not her fault. But now she will have to pay it back to me and you just have to pretend the money is owed to you. Simple! Don't mess this shit up!" Bryane said to him.

"Understood! If I had the money I would pay you myself! Haha! She is too pure. I bet no one has touched her Apple yet!" The man remarked.

"Don't be so sure... Humph! On her sweet sixteen, her cousin Charles messes with her! She her and mother keep it from her dad! A secret to the father only." Bryane said, with a smile.

Suddenly his wife Dana came in in anger. "I want her out of this house. I don't care where she goes. I want her out." She yelled! Bryane got up from the couch and went to the kitchen.

Dana was drinking water to calm herself down. "I sick and tired of that your Jhoni-ni. That bitch, how dare to talk with me with no respect? How dare she?" Dana yelled! Stamping her feet on the floor.

"Okay, okay, calm down. She leaves in a week. One week humph? I have decided to sell her to the Pinnock's they're looking for an innocent wife, though she's not naive she will do. Hmm?" Bryane said.

His wife smiles and stamped her feet with happiness. "Good. Now don't be angry anymore, she's leaving and see these men have come for the money her parents owe. She will agree." Bryane said.

His wife's face glow with happiness. Dave who was coming through the back door to the kitchen overheard and was not happy. "How was she disrespectful?"

Dave asked his mother after his father had left the kitchen and his mother smiling away. Her smile vanished when Dave asked his questions. "Was I not there? Mother, I have never been so disappointed in anyone like I do you now."

Dave said and walked away from her. He walked up the stairs in his room and into Jhonia room beneath the stairs. He packed clothes for Jhonia and himself! He left home without his parents knowing.

He got into his car and drove away from home. Half an hour later. He arrived at the supermarket Jhonia is working part-time. Early in the morning till 1:00 PM noon.

An hour's later!

When she got off work Dave's car was parked outside. She walked over but he wasn't inside. "Jhonia, do you not see the sign? No parking!" A male voice said, to Jhonia. She turned around and it was an officer.

"I'm really sorry, I forgot to tell him not to park here! Forgive me?" Jhonia asked? With her hands together with a smile.

"See? This your smile Jhonia, okay, I forgive you for him, now call him and have him move it." The officer said.

"Thank you so much, Junior you are the best," Jhonia said, giving him and wink. He chuckled and leave her. Dave came out of the supermarket with bags.

"Get in." He said, walking around the car and putting the bags in the back seat! He gets inside the car. While! Jhonia was trying to figure what's happening?

"Get!!! Jhonia my sweet cousin, please! Get inside this car right now." He began to yell but then he decided not to, he opens the door for her. She gets in and seated herself and looks at him confusingly.

Dave started the car and drove off angrily not saying anything but she could tell he was not in a good mood. "Where are we going?" Jhonia asked? Putting on her seatbelt.

"Running away from home. That place is no longer my home, and you shouldn't make it or call it your home either." He said, holding the starring with one hand and the other he runs over his face.

"Why, are we living and so suddenly? Cousin at least tell me why are we leaving?" Jhonia asked? But he didn't respond he just kept driving.

Seconds turned into minutes, minutes into half-hour, half-hour into an hour, and hour into hours. He stopped finally. "We are almost out of gas, you need rest. After the morning we keep moving." Dave said.

As he pulled the car over into a motel parking lot! He got out of the car leaving her. He returned after some time and took the things from the back seat and close the door.

"Let's go Jhonia, we have to keep moving by morning the farther we are the better." He said Jhonia couldn't understand what's happening and why so suddenly?
