Chapter 3 Starving

I was busy sipping my camomile tea while thinking everything that happened earlier

Why does he hate me so much? What did I do? Is it because of that someone he mentioned that he loves the most? Am I the reason why he can't Marry her?ugh Im so tired thinking those what ifs and why's

But my curiosity is getting the best of me

If he really loves her, then why did he say yes with this set up of ours? And does his reason's enough to treat me this way?

Ugh I just wanna rest my brain from thinking

I stare at my tea and sigh

I don't have my credit card in me and I only have $20 I still remember Travis saying to my parents that they don't need to give me money because he's my husband and what his is mine so I can just use his credit card Anytime I want but look at now! he wants me to buy my own groceries but how can I able to buy without money? He won't give me,he fooled my parents by saying that they don't need to support me financially and I was also fooled thinking that his really true to his word

I sigh in frustration I'm starving for fuck's sake tsk

He's so heartless

"Zephaniah?"

I look up when someone call my name

A good looking man is standing in front of me

"oh,hi travor what's up?"

He just smile shyly

My brother in law is here standing in front of me

He looks more kind than his evil brother, I guess

"may I?"

He ask politely and I ask with a smile

I look down at his tray,I gulp seeing a lot of food

I feel like drooling

"So you're alone?"

I wanna answer him sarcastically but I hold my tongue to it's places

"yes,so why were you here? "

I answer with a corresponding question

"ah just strolling around and I thought I saw you so I came in and guess my guess is right"

He laugh a bit

He's more handsome when he laugh I can't help but to compare him with his brother they have this different attractive feature but judging fair and square I can tell that his brother are more attractive but both of them are gorgeous

"Anyway, have you already eaten?"

He ask while chewing some of his food,I gulp,I'm now salivating

Gosh Im ravenously hungry

"I ate before I leave the house"

I fake a smile, of course it's a lie, how could I eat at home when that heartless husband of mine won't let me tsk

"Are you sure? You look pale "

I was about to deny my hunger the second time but my tummy betrayed me, it roar louder than earlier and I know for sure he heard it judging by the look of his face

"Tsk I can see that your lying"

He said then call the waiter

"Order everything you want, my treat"

He said

Hesitant at first but I still ordered anything that would fill my hunger

"I won't ask you anything about why'd you lie saying that you already eaten and why'd you still haven't eat for it's almost two in the afternoon even though Im dying to know why, but please accept my kind gesture and eat a lot and stop being awkward around me,I'm your brother in law,brother of your husband so you'd better feel free around me"

Even though I hate it when he mention my husband, I still get touch by his soothing words

How I wish that he is the one who Marry me,maybe Im not suffering like this but I know it's impossible

I just smile and nod

After eating I thank him

He then offer me a ride but I refuse I still don't wanna go home,and I still don't wanna see him ....my husband

"maybe your husband is looking for you"

My smile almost Faded when he mention the word husband again, but I Manage to smile widely,I would thanks to the inventor of the clay blush it help me to hide my redden cheeks made by my husband's slap

"He don't give a fuck"

I saw a glint of surprise in his eyes,I don't know if it is because of my answer or because I cursed,well everyone doesn't really expect someone like me would spit that kind of word

"what do you mean?"

"well it's just that we really, just don't give a damn with each other, our marriage is nothing but a set-up and just an arranged marriage"

"well that's ahm......I don't know what to say but I wanna ask you some question if you don't mind"

"sure"

"Are you already falling for him? "

His question almost choke me I swear I can kill him right now!

"Of Course not!and I won't,I will never fall for him"

I said defensively

I swear I saw his face lighten up but why?

"Anyway, you wanna go somewhere? I can accompany you"

Looking at him I can say that he's far more better than my devil husband and more boyfriend material

"thanks, but no need I still have to go to my parent's house,I need to take back my credit card "

I see a hint of confusion in his face maybe he's curious of what's going on but he stay silent and choose not to ask

"Great!I'm also going there because my father ask me a favor to give this present to your father a little advance gift for his birthday because he know that he will not be there when it will be celebrated,you know he prefer being advance than belated"

It almost slip in my mind that next week will be my father's birthday I still need to think what present would I buy for him

"So shall we?"

He say as he headed towards an old model ferrari,open its door and motion his hand for me to enter

"an old model of ferrari?I mean no offense huh"

he smile

"non taken"

"I thought you were driving a Ferrari Laferrari aperta or an audi just like your brother"

"ahn yeah not to brag but I have a lot of latest cars dump in my garrage but I often use this car this one was given to me by a special someone"

A special someone huh

I nodded understandingly

"that someone must be so dear to you"

I remark

He smile

He says as he close the door on my side and go to the driver set

She?so it's a girl
