Chapter 4 Anna's smile

"then what about this place? I do feel like it's good to start our new project here" Justine said with a smug on his face. my heart falls to the stomach in fear, even if I have been staying here for only a week, I get attached here because of all the love that I get from the people here.

My eyes widen in shock because a part of me knows, that they can do it and they are not just joking. I mentally shook my thoughts away and just looked at the way, they were talking. All I got to know was, they are the ones running this orphanage and this orphanage is in Devid's name, one of Allen's friends.

They always know how to blackmail me and it really hurt being powerless in front of these nasty people. All I ever wanted is to stay away from them and have a peaceful life, but I can't have that!

That's when I heard the voice of the head manager, she was an old but kind-hearted lady, I turned to her and greeted her first, then she greeted back, Then she saw these spoiled kids, her eyes widen in shock, as she said in her shattering yet with respect "young masters, what are you guys doing here?".

"why? can't we come here?" asked Lena with her eye roll, bad attitude as always, She never respected anyone as far as I know, and I still remember, the way she use to hurt me just because Allison talks to me and treat me better than anyone. Her one-sided obsession made things worse for me, but still, I can hurt my friend just because of her, so she hates me a lot, while I should be the one to do that.

Author's POV

"No, no, this orphanage belongs to you guys, and I have no say in this, it's just that I am a little surprised," the Head manager said, trying her best to be polite towards that arrogant Lena.

Anna's body froze seeing the way the head manager reacting, and she knows even if she rejected to go with them, she can never stay in this place anymore, so she took a long sigh and said "I don't care, who this place belongs too, but I am not returning back. I will move out today".

Anna never wanted to obey them like she use to do, she has decided that she will never let her self-respect down like once she did.

They have already seen Anna playing with the children when they came inside and knows that Anna will comply with them, but they never expected her to tell something like this. But even they didn't give up, even though they don't like Anna and never wanted her to be with Allen, they have no choice, Allen's grandpa said them to bring his grand daughter-in-law, or else, everyone will be suffering for the things that they have done to Anna, So they still used the same thing and blackmailed that all the 600 children in the orphanage will move out because they want this place for the new project and the only way to stop that is Anna agreeing to go with them. She tried to reject them again and again, but they seem so into that, she don't want the children to suffer so she accepted and went back to the hell that she never wanted to go back to.

End of her Flashback,

Even when Anna came back, after taking fresh air, but Justin is still there, talking with Allen. Her face twisted in irritation but she didn't tell anything and went back to doing her work.

Justin and Allen finished thier meeting and he went back when Allen saw her tired face so he asked Anna with a smile "baby, what happened? you look tired, do you wanna go for lunch?".

"yes, boss," She said without even looking at his face and got up from her seat with her poker face, without caring about him as she believed that he never loved her or will never love her, All he knows is to use her.

He observed that but still, didn't tell anything and only had a smile on his face because he is so used to this look of Anna, even though he wants her to smile at him just like she does at others. He took out his handmade food and placed that on the dining table inside thier office.

Anna saw the dish and remembered all the things that happened in the past, the way he gave her his handmade food without telling her, and the way she cursed the person, who made it, which made her smile. Allen's heart skipped a beat seeing her smile for him. He sat down and just stared at her smiling face, but suddenly, she stopped the smile and went back to her poker face and just had lunch without talking. Whenever Allen tries to talk, all her replies will be with a word, but it is always different with the people she loves. Anna is talkative with only the people she loves and that person is not Allen. and he will never be one among them, according to Anna.
