Chapter 5 Somebody proposed Tanya

Author's POV:

The next day all the students reached college time except Varun and Arun. They come to class after 5 minutes when the class was started.

"May we come in sir?", Arun asked extending his arm while seeking permission.

"Why are you both come late to the class?", Asked Sir.

"Because our car was punctured on the way", Arun answered.

"Okay come in, but it should never happen from next time", Sir replied.

"Okay", Arun said respectfully.

Then they both come into the class and sat in their seats.

Tanya silently saw it all, but she didn't say anything then sir announced that everyone should run the library to make library cards and Identification (ID) cards as per the principal's instructions in their free lecture.

Tanya, Ginni, Varun, Arun, and some other students went to the library. She filled in all the information and submitted it to the library, then she started going but she saw that a picture of Varun fell. He didn't know this but she saw it. She picked up the picture and went to him and gave a voice to him from behind.

"Listen", She said in a high tone.

"Yes", He replied and was surprised to see her standing behind him.

"Your picture fell on the ground, take it back", She said.

At first, He kept looking at her standing there for at least 5 minutes, but when she said again, he took the picture from her and said"Thanks".

"Welcome", She replied in a low voice.

On Arun's call, He started going from there then she again gave a voice to him.

"Listen, I want to talk to you", She said.

He asked with surprise, "What do you want to say?".

"I want to say both sorry and it's ok", She answered while looking down.

"For what?", He asked raising his eyebrow.

"Because from the last few days, you have been telling me sorry again and again for that mistake which was not so big and I didn't reply to your sorry. for that, I'm sorry and its ok is the reply of your sorry", She said with a little smile.

"Never mind, There is no need to say sorry. I don't take things to heart and thanks for accepting my sorry. By the way, I'm Varun and what's your good name?", He asked smiling.

"My name is Tanya", She smiled back.

He also looked at her smiling again. She was about to leave from there that he stopped her.

"Listen, Tanya, can we be friends? I mean to say that we both are in the same class and I don't even know anyone here. Moreover, you are very intelligent in your studies and I'm an average student. So you will help me study", He said.

She listened to him and left without saying anything.

After college time is over, She came home. On seeing her,Ritik came and hugged her. She hugged him back. Ritik loves his sister very much. He can share everything with his sister. It is his sister who helps him all the time whenever he needs her. Their mother is always busy at parties and their father is busy with his work.

"Dida, your birthday is coming up, just a week left. So when do you go to get new clothes for her? you know me, every year, a big party is organized in our house on every family member's birthday?", Ritik asked in excitement.

"Yes chote, Thank you so much for reminding me. I'll talk to mom about shopping", She replied and kissed his cheeks.

Then he ran towards his room. She also goes to her room. At lunchtime, all family members came to the dining table and servants start serving the food.

"Mom, can we go shopping today as you know only one week left for my birthday. I want to buy some new clothes for Ritik and myself", She said looks at her mother with hope.

"Sorry daughter, I have no time because I have to go to a party with my friend. You can go with Ginni", Her mother answered.

"Ok", She said in a sad voice.

Although her father always remains busy on his phone and doesn't pay much attention to his family. But this time, her father Ritesh Saxena hears a full conversation done between his daughter and wife.

"Thanks for remembering me, Tanya. We have to organize a big party for your birthday. I order a card to be printed for your birthday invitation. Tomorrow, you also take that cards with the college and distribute it to the whole class", Ritesh said.

"OK", She replied reluctantly.

After lunch, She went to her room and stars calling Ginni.

"Hello Ginni", She said.

"Hi Tanya", Ginni replied.

"Can you go shopping with me today in the evening? ", She asked.

"I think I know why you want to go shopping today because after 1 week it's your birthday. You have to buy some clothes for herself and your cute little brother Ritik because every year he wears clothes at your birthday party, which you buy for him and you also wear a new dress", Ginni said in an excited voice.

"I know you already know everything because you are my childhood friend. You are the one who knows everything about me", She replied smiling.

"OK, get ready at 5:30 p.m. I'll come to your home and then we go to the shopping mall", Ginni said.

"Ok, thanks, bye, see you in the evening", She replied.

"Anytime Babe, Bye", Ginni replied and cut the call.

In the evening, Both went to a famous shopping mall. Suddenly a boy, Who is their classmate, came in front of them and after 5 minute Talk, he proposed to Tanya and told her about his feelings.
