Chapter 5 You kissed him

Still in Greater High The lesson was over for the day,Sophie put her books in her school bags,and dressed her skirt well .

She stared at sleeping Eunice and smiled.

"Never knew she could get to sleep like this".she chuckled before waking her up.

She carried her bag on her back and tapped Eunice gently on her back.

Eunice snored lightly and closed her eyes more tightly.

"Eunice wake up".She mumbled slowly .

"Eun-".I tried waking her up but I tripped and fell on something hard...Oh no!!!Am I falling down?But how come I never felt pain?.I thought and was distracted by a scream.I'm sure it's my classmate.But why?.I thought and felt a hand on my waist.

I tilt my head backward and my gaze met with that of Brett_'Brett the quiet guy who always sits at the back.

He's helding me by the waist and also I'm in his arms!!!.

So he was the the who who caught me.

I felt my heart beating faster.

Student were screaming and Eunice stare at me like I was a gross.

"You....".She stuttered covering her mouth with her palm.

I tried standing on my feet releasing myself from his grip.

I took the first step backwards and ended up falling on his hard chest.

"Haaaaaaaaaa".I screamed out loud falling on his chest facing him and our lips met each other.

Thank Goodness it's not a kiss.

The student keep screaming over and over.

I bathed my lashes repeatedly and jump up quickly and stood up hurriedly.

"OMG!!!".

"Their lips crashed!!!!".

"WTF!!!".

Those were the comment the student utters.

Student and their Tantrum's.

Brett stood up smiling and walked out of the class.

Why is he smiling?This is a mess!!!.

I stared at the student they're all laughing.

I wanted to run out of the class but I realized that my books all on the floor,my books and the mask!!!Oh no!!!.

I bent down to pick my books and Eunice bent down to give me a hand .

We quickly pack the books and then I realized that I can't find my mask.My Mask!!!.It's no where to be found !!!.

"My mask..My..M..a..sk".i stuttered slowly.

Balls of sweat forming on my face.I'm so dead!!.

"What Mask?" Eunice asked curiously as she dragged me out of the class with student laughing hard,she dragged me out.

"My life!My Mask!!".I yelp furiously and sat on one of the benches of the school.

"You sound Angry,What's wrong?You know you still have a lot to tell me?Awn don't tell me you wanted a mask to cover your face or walk around the school so no one could recognize our Miss study bug being kissed Huh?".She giggled and I glare at her angrily.

She's crazy!She should not make things more complicated for me.Yeah it's quite embarrassing to be kissed but we never kissed.And as a matter of fact I would've stick to the Mask stuff to hide my face but that's not the issue.

I can't see my Mask !!!It's no where to be found! This is trouble!.

How did I even lost it?Did I not bring it to school?Oh stupid of course I bought it along with me.That's how I got my face covered at home.

I brought it then where did I place it?Brett can never took it .He can't or did he?.

' Let me call him'.I thought and smiled ..yes best option.

I took my bag on Eunice lap and took out my phone.

"What are you doing and you never answered me Huh?".Eunice asked.

"I want to call him".

"Who?".

"Brett".I said quickly and unlocked my phone.

"Do you have his number or you guys paired?".She asked grinning like she wanted to know more.

Oh no!!Right do i have his number?Of course I don't!Then how should I go about it?.

"Your phone".I asked stressing my hand to her.

"To...?".

"Just give me".

"OK..OK".She said handling me her phone.

"I want to call brett I'm sure you have his number".

"Of course I do but why asking?".

Yes that's it ...I know she would have his number.Crazy fan girl !She would when Brett is handsome.of course he is.

"I wish I was the one he kissed ,But wait what happened study bug?Tell me soph please...".Eunice said dramatically.

"Can you just stop all this nonsense and drama of yours?We never kissed okay!".

"Yes you never kissed but he pecked you on the lips or you did-".

"Fan girl !!!I have to call brett to save my life ,I need him!My mask!!I need it!!".

"Oh yes you escaped it Earlier!What mask Exactly?What?you need brett to save your life?How?Why?".

"Because I can't go home without it".

"Why?".

"Because...because..you can't understand even if I tell you".

"Why won't i understand?".

"You ask to much question!".I underscore the word "Question" with a sigh.

"But why?I am your best friend isn't it ?".She asked and I nod positively.

"Then if I am who you claimed I am!Then why keeping the Mask stuff a secret or what?Tell me?".She said sounding angry.

Can I really trust Eunice?Though she's a nice girl ,A crazy girl at that,she's troublesome.

Eunice is a good friend but what if I really pour out everything to her.Won't she betray my trust?

"Soph...Hey...Are you there? tell me".Eunice asked waving her hand to my face.

"Oh...yes...I am....can I trust you?".I mumbled softly hoping she won't get upset.

"Gosh!!!I'm vexed already!!!What kind of question is that?Can I trust you?".She taunts angrily.

"I-

"No sophie you don't trust me do you?".Eunice asked cutting me off.

"I'm sorry I don't mean it that way,I-

"You what?I What?What way then?" She cut me off angrily.

Seriously I don't mean to hurt her!I don't mean it that way at all,of course I trust her but I'm afraid the secret the golden secret I've been keeping won't be safer with anyone else.

"OK...I'm leaving suit yourself" She blurt out angrily and stood to leave.She walks faster leaving me behind.
