4.

Lesley Ann couldn't sleep, she turned her back and looked at the ceiling, she kept thinking about what Riven Newman had said to her.

Riven was clearly a strange man, whoever would transfer at the last year of high school? She shouldn't have warm up to me, but, he had saved her a couple of times already.

If he was going to harm her, would he do graceful things to her?

Thinking about this, her eyes slowly drifted to sleep, hoping for a brand new day.

The next morning, Lesley had gotten to school late cause of her sleepless night. She smiled at the beautiful flowers planted at the entrance of the school, her mother had always loved flowers, each day, those flowers reminded her about her mother.

"Are you going in without me today?" Tell familiar voice sounded behind her ears. Her heart hitched but she had no option but to face him.

Unlike before, he smiled at her face and walked closer to her. Undeniably, her heartbeat as Riven approached her, he is so cute that she found herself melting at his presence.

The class cooed as they walked in together. Scared of the math teacher, Lesley hid behind Riven in fear.

The last time she was late to his class, he had given her a detention slip, saying next time, she would learn to be early.

Riven held her hand and proceeded to a seat. As presumed, the math teacher, Mr. Stanley, turned to them sharply and was ready to rebuke them.

"You!" He pointed at them.

Immediately, Riven held Lesley's hand and faced the man with a smile and dilated look.

"What is it, Mr. Stanley?" With a devious voice, he talked.

As soon as he talked, Mr. Stanley's voice became soft and his dominant eyes became fluffy. A sweet smile landed on his face and with a calm voice he replied; "You may take your seat, lovelies"

The student gasped and looked at each other, Mr. Stanley is never delightful. Lesley became speechless but still listened in class even though Mr. Stanley suddenly become nice.

Riven wouldn't stop looking at Lesley, she's so innocent and he can't stop being protective.

After Stanley's class, it was time for P.E.

Before leaving, Some girls rushed to Riven, they smiled sheepishly and waved at him in a flirty way.

With a bad-boy smirk, he looked over them to see Lesley standing by her seat, holding onto her bag nervously.

"Babe" He called loudly to her, she shrieked and looked up to him, wondering if it's her he had called.

"Please come" He pleaded in a cooed voice, flaunting his foreign green eyes which made the girls melt at their position.

Lesley took the courage and got closer to him, he held her hand softly and pulled her to his beginning, allowing his hand to stay at her waist.

"What do you want again?" He asked the girls who blushed at his romantic behavior to Lesley.

"Oh, it's nothing. We'll talk later" They echoed before leaving.

Lesley who smiled was suddenly turned to look at him. She blushed at his beautiful face, her hands, nervously, encircled his thin pink lips which looked ready to kiss.

Soon, she found herself feeling comfortable with this guy, ignoring each of his strange countenances.

"I would really think you're my girlfriend this way" He teased, a smirk planted on his face.

Shyly, she removed her hands from his face and tried pulling away but, Riven held unto her and used his other hand to put her hand back on his face.

He closed his eyes and enjoyed the way she encircled his face, taking each of his features in.

Suddenly, she remembered, the class should have been locked.

As if he heard her thought, he sounded without opening his eyes; "No one will bother us"

Having heard this, she smiled and continued. He had a small tattoo on his neck, very small that she couldn't decipher what was written.

"What is this tattoo?" She asked the man that was enjoying her company.

" It's a birthmark, one of its kind" He answered.

Just then, his wristwatch beamed. He opened his eyes suddenly and looked at it, still holding unto her by the waist.

Taking in the look of the watch, it didn't seem like a normal watch. It had a screen that showed some unknown codes, the entire body was made of gold, it looked like darkened gold.

"Darling..." He hesitates and cupped her face in his hand.

" I have to leave now, I might come back late. Don't get in trouble, okay?" He said and kissed her forehead, after which he left.

With a sigh, Lesley changed into her P.E uniform, she packed her hair in a ponytail. One thought about Riven and she found herself blushing.

"No Lesley, it's too early " She cautioned herself and continued.

A loud bang distracted her yet again, with a frown she faced where it came from and it's no other than Celina Gomez, it seemed like she had gotten over her tears.

"If it isn't the shameless dog!" She commented.

Celina isn't as ugly as her behavior she is one of the most beautiful girls. She has long black hair under her perfectly craved oval-shaped face.

"You think you're all good because the new guy is on your side, huh" As soon as Celina got closer to her, she gave her a resounding slap which made her jolt to the back.

"Celina, I'm not ready for your foul play" Lesley defended and choose to walk away. She was stopped by Celina's two friends, the twins; Pinky and Tammy Benson.

"Too bad, Riven Newman is not here to defend you today. I'm gonna beat you up!" She yelled behind her and scooped her to the wall.

Lesley banged her back, still hurting, the twins picked her up and Celina slapped her across the face repeatedly until she bleeds from her nose.

"No one will defend you now, my darling princess," Celina says close to her face. Lesley wanting to run, knowing well that no one will save her, stood up but was only pulled back by the twins.

They held her hand, to make sure she won't move. Wondering why her eyes dilated when Celina removed a shaving blade from her bag.

Before Lesley could defend herself, the blade had Peirce her cheek so deep that she couldn't wait to see what Celina would do next.

"Now, let's see if Riven would like you now!" faintly, she hear Celina say before she blanked out finally.
