Chapter 3 Letter

ANICA POV

"Did you saw who killed the dark magicians and creatures?" Arron asked.

"Huh? I don't know what are you talking about"

I lied.

They look at each other.

"Ah ah, what he means is that the person who's all black and have red eyes, did you perhaps saw, the one who killed them?" Lyra said clearing out for me.

"Ah? I'm sorry but there's no such a person here who has a description like that. Also, there's no killing happened here but actually, it's weird. I feel like there is something that I had forgotten" I explained acting like knowing nothing.

They look at each other again and based on their expression, seems like, they know what's happening now.

"Oh, ok. Thank you. We need to go now" Maxenne said and I just nod her.

I watch them walking away while talking to each other.

"She's different. I can't read her mind" Christian whispered.

"Hmm, she's mysterious huh" Maxenne commented.

"Is she telling the truth?" Lyra asked.

"We're not sure" Steven responded.

"But based on her story, seems like their memories had been erased," Sabelle said.

"Yeah, impossible if those things didn't attempt to attack here. Maybe they erased their memories because look at the people here, they act like nothing happened" Arron stated.

They nod each other as they agree with what Arron said.

"We need to report this" Delixean said with his cold voice.

I change my gaze when I saw them entered the forest. I stand up and decided to have a walk. I need to be cautious, there is a chance they will go back to me.

When I saw that it's already dark, I decided to go home. As I walking, I feel someone following me.

There's no doubt, they are dark magicians. Seems like, they are not done here.

I decided to ignore them and walk fast.

When I already close to my house, the presence of them has gone. That's good.

I walk fast, enter my house and lock the door.

What are they doing here?

Forget it. I need to eat.

After I ate, I go to my room. I sit on my bed near my window. I open it and stared at the beautiful moon. It's round plus the rainbow shadow of it.

I suddenly hug myself when the wind got strong. It's starting to cold. I was supposed to close my window when there is a bird suddenly appeared and enter my room.

It has a letter on his beak. I watch him flying around until he sits on my shoulder and lets the letter fell on me. I just watch the bird flying again and leave it in my room

I close my window and pick the letter, inspect it carefully. I hope it isn't bad news.

I saw my name printed on it. I doubt that it isn't made of magic 'cause it's glowing.

I open it and start reading.

"Dear Anica,

I know, you already knew that it's still chaos in Magical World. You decided to live in Mortal World to have a peaceful life. Anica, you need to go back to Magical World and study in Magica Academia because they need your help. I'm begging you, child, for us, your dad. I hope you go back there and right, wear the necklace that I put together with this letter to increase the energy of your magic. Be careful my daughter, we're always here with you. We love you, Anica.

Your mom"

I can't stop my tears from falling while reading the letter. It's my second time that I got a letter from my mom.

There's no time for this. I need to make a decision. Just like I thought, I have a bad feeling about this.

I don't know if I can make the right decision for this. I need some time to think about it so that I will never regret it. For now, I can't think straight. It's better to think about it tomorrow since my mind will be clear by that time.

I look at the necklace that my mom mentioned in the letter. I stared at it. I can feel the strong aura from it. Also, it's beautiful and made of crystal. I like it. My name is on it.

I pick and wear it. There will no one's going to look for it since when you look at this necklace, it will appear like an ordinary necklace with my name printed on it.

If you think that the magicians will look for it, that will be impossible.

No one from the magicians knows about this necklace because my mom made it that's why it's okay for me to wear it without hiding it.

I immediately hid the letter from my mom and lie on my bed. I remembered that I told you guys that my parents already died. If you're wondering how can my mom send me a letter, that's because it's not important whether you're already dead. It can't hindrance you from sending a letter that's it if you are capable of it or a strong magician.

Let's say, they are already dead but it is only the body but not the soul. Did you get the point? This means, the thing that is only gone is the body but the soul of it, is alive. The only difference is that they are already in another world where the spirits resting.

Remember, the only ones who can do it are those magicians who have strong magic. After all, there's no impossible in the place were full of magic.

I arranged myself, lying in a bed and forget what I just read in the letter. I need to rest my mind. I'm tired just by thinking about it.

Sigh, what a tiresome day. I hope it is a beautiful day, tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it.

I didn't know what happens after that, the only thing I remembered, I let myself be eaten by the darkness.
