Chapter 5 Double Date

I have a lot of workload today. It's indeed a busy day for me. I actually prefer to be this busy, because if I have this much of workload, I will not have time to think and sulk because of Seb.

I hate it! I remember what happened at that party again. I left my table and went to the comfort room for a while to cry. A week since Seb and I met again, they were always in the news. While I always go to the comfort room just to cry.

I still can't get rid of the regret and resentment in myself because I trusted him. I love him dearly, and I know he loves me too but why did he gave up so easily? Why did he left me to someone else? Yes, that Sam was beautiful and looks kind, but didn't he loved me? Many girl also surrounded him back then, those girls were also beautiful, sexy and rich women but he never got interested with them because he loves me.

Seb don't you love me anymore? Have you really forgotten me?

I was about to return to my table when I saw my female officemates gathering at my table. I frowned. What's going on here?

I was close to my table when I saw man's behind in front of my table.

"Ahm excuse me?" I told the man.

He slowly turned in my direction.

My eyes widened when I saw Mr. Korea is the reason why my officemates are gathering and giggling near my table.

Well I must say that Mr. Korea is really handsome and hot. He was one of the heartthrobs in our school back then. I don't know why no one caught my attention from their group before.

"Gav what are you doing here?" I asked him.

"We have a date." He said then he winked at me.

"Date? Sorry but I am busy right now." I answered him.

"It was Sam who insisted on this date. That's why it's hard to refused." He reasoned out.

So it was Sam who came up with this idea? Does it mean that Seb was also there? I will see him again then? I'm not a masochist but I want to see Seb again. And I want to see if he will be jealous when he sees me being sweet with Gav. So that I can confirm if he still loves me or not.

I know that when I think about it, I just making myself hoping for nothing again. But what can I do, I still love him. I also can't accept the fact that all my efforts ended up nothing.

"Okay." I just said.

I saw him smile. "Great! I'll pick you up tomorrow at 6pm"

"Okay."

It was almost 6pm, I am sure that Gav will be here any minute now. Well I don't want to admit it but I really prepared for this dinner. I tried to look as simple as I can but still look glamorous.

"Bree you didn't tell me that you already have a boyfriend. And in fairness he is hot and handsome." Jenny commented.

I just smiled at her.

I am not close to anyone here so why will I need to tell them about my boyfriend? I am not being snob but I don't really see the need of telling them about my personal life. Well you can't blame me. I became aloof after the things that happened to me and Seb.

I closed my eyes. Its Seb again. Bree will you stop thinking about him?! He is not worth it... maybe before he is worth it but don't lead yourself on.

I can feel my tears forming again, fortunately my phone suddenly rang and my tears were stopped.

"Gav!"

"I'm already in the basement. Do you want me to pick you up there?" Gav said.

"No. I'm will just go down. I'll just see you in the lobby." I said.

"Okay."

After that call I immediately took the elevator and hit the ground floor.

And just like yesterday, Gav is once again surrounded by female employees here at the company. It's really hard to be handsome.

"Gav!" I called him.

He smiled and immediately approached me.

He was stunned for a moment and I could feel him looking at me from head to toe.

"Y-you look great!" Gav said.

I felt the redness on my cheek. Its Gavin Inarez who complimented you who wouldn't be felt shy and blushed!

"Thanks." Embarrassed I said.

"Shall we?" Then he offered his hand and I accepted it and then he put my hands in his arm.

The sweet look on our faces really makes us a couple. Gav is a real gentleman.

We were in the car when Gav suddenly asked me

"If you don't mind me asking ... What happen between you and Sebastian, why you two broke up?" Its a serious question.

I was surprised by Gav's question. I didn't see that coming. He doesn't look like he loves to gossip.

"His family can't accept me for him because of our status." Embarrassed I said.

"And Sebastian did nothing?" Gav said.

There was anger when he said that. I also saw the tightening of his grip on the steering wheel.

I just smiled. For sure if I answered him I will just cry again.

We were already in the restaurant, the staff guided us to a private room of the restaurant. The restaurant looks elegant and grand, already expected from known elite place. Well, I'm used to go to places like this. My dad is a manager at a five star hotel and we can afford to eat in places like this though we only went here only on a special occasion.

Seb and Sam were already there.

I saw Sam smile at us. He kissed Gav and me and Gav shook hands with Seb, and I just smiled at Seb, just to make it civil.

"I'm glad that you two made it." Sam said.

"Gav said you were busy but I'm glad that you still find time to give in to me." Sam added.

Sam is really sweet and innocent. I wondered even more how Seb liked her, because as far as I know Seb likes strong woman the reason why he liked me.

"I also can't refuse Gav's request, and I've been very busy with work this past weeks and I know that I have to make time for him." I said then I look at Gav and smile.

I saw Seb's reaction in my peripheral vision. Am I seeing it right?! I saw pain in his eyes.

Does it mean that he still loves me? Then why will he marry Sam? Seb can you stop making me confused. Can't you just tell me if you still love me or not?!

"I also talked to my aunt and she told me that she really likes you for Gav. I hope you two will end up in marriage just like me and Seb. Aren't they look good together Seb?" Sam said.

I immediately looked at Seb. I really want to know what he has to say.

"Yes. They look good together." Seb said with a forced smile.

But I know you Seb what you said is not true. Does that mean you still love me? Do we still have a chance?

I want to beat myself up with that I thought. I think I'm addicted to hope, because I already made hoping as my hobby.

I felt Gav's hand holding me tight. I can sense anger in his eyes. Then he smile.

"I also hope for that. My mom loves her so much and so do I." Gav said obviously want to mean something.

Guilt. That is what I saw in Seb's eyes. He obviously knew what Gav meant to say.

"If you want we could have a double wedding! That looks fun!" Sam butted in.

Sam is too innocent. She had no idea what was going on. Didn't Seb told her about us?
