Chapter 5 Tell me about yourself

Where is your house?" Rafael asked as soon as they both sat in the car.

Winter gave him the address and he drove quietly.

"Don't you think you should tell me a little bit about the people around yourself?" Winter asked.

"Why do you wanna know?"

Winter rolled her eyes , frustration clearly visible "Well maybe because I have to play your wife so I will have to meet the people around you not just one but many times I think?? and let's not forget your father wants to throw a big -ass party for your wedding. Do you want me to embarass you there?

Because I clearly know nothing about you and if someone asks I think you know what will happen."

Rafael sighed.

"Should I say more?."

"No need" Rafael said.

Winter caressed her jaw, "You make me talk a lot now my mouth aches , my back aches as well."

Rafael coughed lightly ,"I will begin I have no mother my real mother and father divorced a long time ago and my father remarried my step mother was evil ...and she made me disowned and while I was out I met with Aaron and Bryan.

Let me tell you I was actually engaged to Dawn first and she was the daughter of Raymond family and she and my step mom worked together to make me disowned."

Witner's eyes widen "Wait the same Dawn I met that day?"

Rafael nodded.

"..woah...but she looks good?"

"She is good. I was the one who bullied her and insulted her in front of my friends but I called her girlfriend Ashley slut and that was the last straw after that she did what she did. "

Winter nodded "she taught you a good lesson."

"Anyways that's how I met Aaron and Bryan , and guess what it turned out that Aaron and Bryan were Dawn's cousins and they were the grandchildren of Elijah Raymon the head of Raymond family."

Winter's mouth fell open "Seriously!!!!...."

"Yeah crazy I know and Ashley is Amber's cousin by the way, Amber is Aaron's wife and Amber has a friend Ashton who is Bryan's fiance. They will probably get married this year only. "

"That's crazy ...why did Aaron and Bryan stay away from Raymond family?"

"Aaron and Bryan's mother Diane fell in love with Hayden, the twin's father. Her father disapproved and sent his son Victor to kill Hayden but Victor wanted to kill Diane as well since she was the heir and Victor wanted the property to himself , however Daine escaped and Victor told the world that she was.

But Eleanor the eldest sister of Victor and Diane was smarter; she framed Victor and sent him to jail and took his daughter Dawn as her own since she didn't have a child of her own.

Anyways I have been with these people since then and now they are my family other than them there is no one else I like.

When I was framed to hurt my brother all of them called me an abomination and cunt and laughed at me my reputation was gone. Even servants kicked me, everyone treated me like a dog so other than Aaron and Bryan and everyone I told you about any other stranger is trash.

If they try to act friendly with you , you can insult them on face beat them or even slap I don't care they are not worth my time and neither yours that includes everyone of dad's friends his assistant and my uncles cousins and basically everyone from my father's side.

Except my little brother he is innocent and precious ...did you get it?"

Winter took a deep breath and nodded "Wow..,that's a crazy history so I can be an ass to anyone from you dad's side?"

"Right. "

"That would be fun...is there anything else?"

"Ummm" Rafael thought before answering "Oh yeah Bryan has two kids June and July they are twins as well and Aaron and Amber have a daughter Andrea"

"Okay...got it ... take left from here then straight and then again left," Winter gave him directions

"Won't you tell me about yourself ... I mean we both are stuck so if tomorrow I have to meet your family there would be certain things I would have to answer ..I can't leave you alone."

Winter smiled sweetly at first because Rafael showed some consideration to her but soon her smile turned bitter before she said.

"I have no family and neither friends so don't worry you will not meet anyone ..."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes I am and if one day by chance you meet anyone who claimed to be my family or friend just give them a strong kick on their face and break their nose for me."

Rafael nodded but didn't say anything anymore , if Winter don't want to tell anything then it's fine he told her about himself because he didn't want any unnecessary drama or misunderstanding.

And also because Winter should know all these things after all she will be presented as his wife to the world so they have to act perfectly and if Winter thinks that her family and friends are not important then so be it , Rafael should not care as well, after all it's none of his business.

Winter was silent before she spoke "Here we are '' she said and Rafael stopped the car.

"Winter got down from the car and smiled after she saw her two storey beautiful brown colored house with a huge garden filled with plants and flowers.

Rafael was shocked for a moment because this was nothing like he thought , WInter's house looked actually decent and good.

"Let's go in" Winter said and dragged him inside

Too soon .

Rafael assumed too soon that Winter's house was decent and beautiful , it was but only from outside from inside it was garbage .

Total garbage.

Wrappers of chips,, cans of alcohol and cold drinks bottles of wine and champagne and upside down sofa unwashed dishes in the kitchen .

Clothes scattered here and there , it was worse than Rafael had imagined.

Winter however was looking down cursing herself for forgetting how much off a trash can her house can be .

"Umm" Winter slowly said "Welcome to my home sweet home"

Rafael's face turned to Winter with and ' are you kidding me expression'

"More like Home trash home."

"Oh come on it's nothing okay I was busy these days that's why I wasn't able to clean my home."

"Where were you so busy that you shouldn't clean your home and this ," Rafael said waving his hand "This is like a dustbin like seriously this is more like pig farm."

"You shut up okay my house is very good it just needs a little but cleaning."

"A little bit ?"

"Okay maybe a bit more but if I hadn't had to go with you today i would have cleaned it today."

"Now that's my fault as well?"

" Indirectly isn't it ?....accident?"

Rafael neck snapped at Winter's direction "Don't call me that"

Winter played dumb "What?"

"That word."

"What? accident?"

Rafael closed his eyes and then quickly opened them glaring at Winter who was standing there with a smile "Yes."

"Okay Accident"

Rafael glared at Winter "Go , pack your stuff."

Winter went towards herself followed by Rafael who stumbled and nearly lost his balance after stepping on a can and after that on a cushion .

Rafael was wrong when he thought that Winter's room would be a little clean, Winter's room was an absolute gutter which left his mouth open.

Winter smacked herself internally and looked at Rafael who was horrified at the scene of clothes , cans paprera files chargers wires phones tabs all lying here and there.

Winter closed Rafael's mouth "Close your mouth " she said and quickly walked forwards looking for her suitcase which she eventually found .

But her suitcase was covered with dust and she randomly picked a cloth and dusted it.

"Wow" The only word which left Rafael's mouth before a mild cough .

"Help me " Winter said "go and bring clothes and stuff from my almirah"

Rafael carefully went to Witner's alimirah keeping in mind not to step on anything other than floor .But as soon as he opened the almirah a mountain of clothes and other things just felt like a landslide , and one perfume bottle even collided with Rafael's head .

"Ouch"

And once again Winter smacked her forehead "shit ...are you okay ?"

Rafael rubbed his head "Yeah I am perfectly fine."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah...what do you want from here."

"Just bring everything you can grab."

Rafael did as he was told and gave everything he grabbed to winter who just stuffed them into the suitcase .

Seeing Winter packing like this made Rafael feel so uneasy that he to turn away.

"What are you doing?" he asked seeing Winter making a ball of her clothes and stuffing them in her suitcase

"Packing of course."

Rafael couldn't see any longer "Move let me do it."

"But I can."

"No you can't ...go and look for your passport and other documents."

Winter obeyed and went to look for her passport which God knows where she had kept. And in the process she cleaned half of her home while Rafael packed the stuff.

"Winter" Rafael called.

"Yes?"

"I have done the packing of you want to keep anything else just keep ..or better give them to me I will keep them 'nicely'."

Winter nodded and was quite amazed seeing the difference between her and Rafael's packing.

Rafael on the other hand felt thirsty and went to grab a bottle of water but when he opened Winters fridge it was ...empty with only a single slice of pizza.

Rafael rolled his eyes "Seriously!!"

He then opened the freezer and that was empty as well except there he found something unusual.

Meanwhile Winter was checking her suitcase

"Winter."

"Yes."

"Did you keep your passport?"

"Umm. yeah I was just looking for it," Winter said and was about to move before she felt something cold against her cheeks which made her shriek .

"Eeeep"

At first Winter thought that Rafael had kept ice against her cheek but it turned out to be her passport.

"Oh here it is!! I was looking for it for so long" Winter said with a smile.

"Just so you know this is not a thing which should be kept in Freezer."

"Ohh" Winter said as she lowered her in embarrassment.

Rafael glanced at her for a moment before shaking his head with a faint smile.

"Do you have something to drink?"

"umm.. I think I have water in water purifier "

"Please can you give me some ?"

"Yeah sure."

Both of them sat down to catch some air after so much air.

"We are leaving in the morning tomorrow" Rafael said "Four in the morning."

Winter sighed "So damn early ! my sleep."

"So you live alone here?" Rafael asked

"Yup just me and my lovely house....although it gets a little too quiet here sometimes that;s why I go out to get some fresh air but who knows this time I would get a fresh husband as well."

Rafael remained he couldn't think of anything to say although he wanted to ask about Winter but then again maybe Winter didn't want to say anything about herself and it's understandable.

"What do you do for a living?" Rafael asked.

"I write...blogs, articles, novels and I also own a few restaurants and Cafes..."

" I see" Winter is a decent person , but sadly she got stuck in this mess .

Rafael took some time to look around the house once again this time Winter had cleaned and now it actually looked like a house and it was pretty.

"You have a pretty house."

Winter smiled proudly "Thanks this house is my baby , my treasure.."

"Shall we go back? there is a lot of work to do."

Winter nodded "Okay let's go."
