Chapter 2 strange feeling

I didn't realize how much time had passed as I hugged my brother, and he was slowly moving his hand through my open hair.

I felt good; I really felt very good when my brother touched my hair like this. At this time, I could feel something different from the other times. It was different feelings that I couldn't explain.

My older brother Jacob never hugged me like this when I got a little older. His hot breath was touching my neck. I felt like I had never had so much peace and security in my brother's hands; that's what I was feeling now. That's when I thought of Mark; If I married him, would I be able to stay with my brother? I have to leave him. How can I do it?

As soon as I realized this, I hugged him more tightly. Immediately I could feel the sound of his heart. It was suddenly running so fast that I could hear it clearly. He removed my hands from my shoulders and lifted my face with the palms of his hands. He was touching my lip, nose with the thumb of his right hand. I couldn't move my face. I could not understand exactly what was happening.

But I feel good. I really feel very good. I started rubbing my face a little further on his right hand. I could see he was so shocked, but for a moment. Then he started pulling with both hands towards my own mouth.

I lost myself. The smell of his body was coming to my nose in a very intense way. I closed my eyes in obsession and felt, suddenly my eyes fell on the closed phone lying on the bed. Didn't Mark call me even once after that long? As soon as I remembered Mark, I looked forward with a flash of lightning.

My brother's beautiful masculine face was very close to mine. He hugged me with both hands.

Tightly.

"Brother." I uttered this all of a sudden. I couldn't say anything more. But that was enough for him to understand. I saw that he once closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

It was as if he hadn't been in reality for so long. That's when I noticed that I was trembling; maybe he saw me trembling, so he reached out to me, but I got a little scared and walked away.

I see that he was then burning with self-pity. He looked at me for the last time and then said, "Sorry," saying this, he went out without looking back.

I stared at him until he left. I'm not a kid, and I know what happened now wasn't right. I had never seen him like this. I looked weird, I couldn't figure out how weird it was, but I was surprised to realize that I wanted something more from him. Thinking that I ran to the washroom.

Standing in front of the mirror, I felt ashamed of myself. I wanted to pull my own hair out. The area around my eyes was burning, and water was pouring down from my eyes. I slapped myself on the right cheek as the cheek turned very red and burned. But still, I could not forgive my inner self-deprecation. Argh...Argh, Was I a bad girl? Would I ever be able to look up at my brother again? If people know what to say, I was with my brother . . . And I could not think. I slapped my cheek a second time.

As soon as Jacob opened the door loudly and left the room, Mrs. Linda came forward from the kitchen. By then, the sound of Jacob's bike could be heard from quite a distance.

Mr. William had not yet returned from the chamber. Mrs. Linda sighed and suddenly looked at Avery's closed room on the second floor. Then she hurried up the stairs and stood in front of the girl's room and thought for a moment. Then she knocked on the door and said, "Avery, open the door."

Jacob was increasing the speed of the bike. There were not many people on the streets. He just couldn't figure out how to control his anger.

'How did I let my feelings expose in front of her?'

Avery was still very young; she still didn't know things very much. She didn't know when she laughed and rolled around. Jacob looked at her with silent eyes. And when her eyes filled with sorrow, he wanted to break everything.

Avery didn't understand; she didn't know how often Jacob went to her room every night when she was asleep just to see her innocent sleeping face once. She did not know that her brother, whom she considers her protector wanted to devour her.

He wanted to kill someone; he wanted to end everything in a terrible way. He didn't know, but today he looked into Avery's eyes as if he was seeing someone else. He was on fire. The blood on his body became hot as he imagined someone else with Avery, then when he saw tears in Avery's eyes, he hugged her. Not sure what he was doing then. He wanted to get close to her...feel her very much.

He sighed. She was never his own sister, never was, but he vowed to his parents that he would never ever let anyone know this truth, that he wouldn't tell anyone about this, not even Avery.

He stopped his bike and called Leo. Leo was his childhood friend. Whenever he gets upset, he runs away to Leo's home. He summons Leo; maybe he could reduce his self-deprecation by talking to his friend.

I was shocked when I heard mommy's voice outside of my room. If he saw me in this state now, she could suspect something. I was silent for a while, and then I said to her, "I am very sleepy, mommy, please."

Mrs. Linda sighed and left.

I kept my ears pricked up until the sound of her footsteps disappeared. Then as soon as she left, I turned on my cellphone. When I turned on the phone, an SMS entered the phone. Mark's 5 missed calls and an SMS "Reply fast, it's urgent."
