Chapter 2 ARGUMENT

Diana stepped out of the shower wrapped in a towel, but when she looked in the mirror she dropped it. She couldn't believe she still had a perfect body.

Her breasts were firm, but now larger than before, her waist still looked narrow, her legs were now shapelier than before and her ass which had always been her greatest attribute after her face was arguably now enviable.

She scrubbed her body with a peach bodymilk, put on a blue-colored lace paisley cheek-strap and her badtz-maru cotton pajamas.

She was untangling her hair when she heard a loud knock on the door, at the same time the doorbell rang insistently.

"Just a moment. I'm coming." she shouted

When she opened the door her face paled.

"Wow, until I hit you," Ian's throaty, deep, deliciously sexy voice made her swallow thickly.

"What are you doing here?"

He looked her up and down, minutely detailing her body.

"You're not inviting me in, " he didn't ask her if he could. He simply pushed open the door with a jerk and stepped through. He looked all around and could tell there were still boxes to be opened. The house was very clean, looked very warm. But he wanted her somewhere else. Nearby. Where he could keep an eye on her. "I've been looking for you for over two months."

"Why on earth would you do such a thing," she closed the door and looked at him, "You didn't have to. As you can see I'm doing just fine."

Ian looked at her impatiently, it annoyed him when she played it cool.

"I was due in Italy several days ago. So don't waste any more of my time."

She knew he was not a man to be trifled with. But she had to be at that moment strong, and ignore the fact that her knees turned to jelly, just because she was close to him, and the perfume of man enveloped her.

"It's not my fault. If that's what you're trying to imply. I didn't ask you to look for me."

"You left Miami and came here, to this city," he snapped at her.

"That was for a job opportunity."

Ian looked at her angrily and narrowed his eyes.

"Job opportunity? Better than the company that hired you right out of college?"

"You know damn well I don't work there anymore. Sometimes change is good, Ian," she replied somewhat nervously.

"When were you going to tell me," he suddenly changed the subject, his voice containing a hint of reproach.

Diana put her hands over her mouth, to hold back the scream of terror as she realized that he had already figured out why she had dropped everything.

"I don't know what you're talking about," -she pretended to be oblivious.

"Don't play games with me, Diana," he stepped closer to her, invading her personal space.

"I never have," she nervously tucked her shower-damp hair behind her ear.

Ian took a deep breath. To control the anger, he had at that moment. He had finally found it.

He had to think clearly.

"I'll ask you the question just once, Diana," he pointed his index finger at her. "When were you planning to tell me you're pregnant by me?"

Her face paled even more and her body wobbled a little.

"Who told you," she was very frightened at that question he asked.

She crossed her strong arms over her broad chest and shook her head. She raised a dark

golden eyebrow.

"I talked to Andrew and he told me," he gave her a lopsided smile. "I know how to do the math. You knew that, right?"

"You're pretty sure it's yours, arrogant."

He walked toward her and leaned in a little until he was nose to nose. He didn't want to intimidate her, but he would if he had to.

"How could I not be? I know perfectly well that before you broke up with Andrew you had over two months that you hadn't had sex, and when you and I met it had been two since you had broken off the engagement."

Now she was the one who was furious, she crossed her arms over her chest. Making them rise a little higher than they should have.

"Who the hell do you think you are, to be privy to my sex life. You're so unbearable."

"That's not the answer to the question I asked you."

"What makes you think the baby I'm carrying is yours?"

"DON'T PLAY WITH ME," Ian shouted, "You and I know damn well there wasn't another one before me, and after that night neither."
