Chapter 2 YOUR FRIEND HAD RUN AWAY!

It was 2:00 PM and Jacob stopped his car in front of the police station. As soon as he entered, his eyes first went to Lisa.

"Sir, what happened? Why haven't you found Sara yet? It's been 3 days now." Lisa was arguing with the police man. She was repeatedly ignoring the woman and not answering her questions.

"Madam, look at how big the city is. Maybe your friend has gone somewhere to hang out. Or has run away with someone." Lisa became angry after listening to the policeman.

"She has run away. What do you mean? Sara is not such a girl. She is missing. Your job is to find her, not to speculate that she has run away!"

Listening to Lisa, the man became angry because he also damaged her in front of his juniors. She was absolutely right. She had been traveling around this police station for the last 3 days but they were not writing Sara's missing report, and that day she saw it was left only on paper. She did not know why those people were not paying attention to this case.

"Your friend has run away! At your request, I tried to find her and at the same time when I went to your office. After hearing all the things that I had heard from there, I was only going to call her missing, but I would be stupid! Your friend is a whore! She must be spending her night with men!" The policeman laughingly told Lisa.

All the people present there were making fun of Sara and were saying very bad things about her. As usual, Lisa lost her temper and Jacob saw that she was about to raise her hand on a cop. He immediately ran to her and did not let her raise her hand.

"Lisa, don't." Lisa looked up at him. She was surprised to see him there. She immediately lowered her hand as she realized that she was about to make a big mistake. The policemen's faces turned white, like a blank page, as soon as they saw Jacob.

"Sir, what are you doing here? If there was any work, you should call us, so why did you bother to come here?" Lisa noticed that suddenly all of them were behaving in front of Jacob as if they were all his pet dogs. They were all afraid of him.

"I want the case filed by Lisa to be closed." Jacob ordered those people to close the case, and all of them started working without wasting a second.

"Have you lost your mind? Why the hell are you asking them to close the case? My friend is missing. I don't know where she is but she is in danger. Did you hear me?" Lisa shouted at him in anger. She saw that those people were really closing the case.

"I know," Jacob said and just smiled, looking at her again. Seeing him smile, she became angry again.

"If you know then why are you telling these people to close the case?!" She said angrily, grinding her teeth.

"I'll tell you everything, but in a little while," Jacob told Lisa, and she noticed that he looked serious. This was the first time he didn't smile.

"And all of you!" Jacob started speaking angrily towards the policeman. Everyone present there was stunned to see his angry face. Not only the policeman but Lisa was also scared to see him. She always saw him smiling, but the Jacob who was standing in front of her right now was someone else.

"Whatever bad things you all said about Sara, I will give all that information to my brother. I hope you all know his name: Daniel. He would show you hell as you all dared to talk shit about my sister-in-law, his wife!" Jacob shouted with a devilish smirk. Everyone's jaw dropped to hear that Sara is Daniel's wife. Lisa was also shocked, but at the same time she found Jacob hot and attractive.

"And you also dared to play with my woman. I would show you hell for this!"

The way he smirked at them was hot as hell. Her heart was beating fast to see this new face. He called her his woman. It was the face that he used to hide behind his smile. She already knew that he was not what he was about to show these people. This was his real face, but she never expected that his reality would make her heart flutter.

"Let's go." Jacob held Lisa's hand and walked out of there. She was looking at him only. As they both came out of there Jacob turned to look at her.

"Are you okay? You should control your anger," Jacob said, and Lisa nodded her head but at the same time she realized that he was still holding her hand.

He also saw but did not leave her. He smiled handsomely. Lisa found him attractive again. She pulled her hand from his hold and turned her face to the other side, as she did not want to show him her blushing face. She didn't know why she was blushing at him.

"Yes, I'm fine, but what are you doing here? And why did you say that Daniel and Sara are married?" Lisa asked.

"Because it's true. The two of them got married yesterday," Jacob told Lisa, and she was surprised.

"You're lying. It's impossible," Lisa said to Jacob in panic, and Jacob saw that he had multiple meanings.

"Why? Why can't this happen? They are both married in front of us. Daniel loves Sara," Jacob told Lisa, but he nodded in negativity.

"I'm saying this because Sara will never marry anyone of her own accord." Jacob recalls the scene when she was ready to die for not marrying Nolan. She agreed to the marriage because he had threatened to kill her family as well as Ryan. She was not even ready to marry Daniel, but Daniel convinced her to marry him.

"Is there any reason why Sara would agree to marry Daniel? Or will she never agree to the wedding?" Her facial expressions changed as Jacob asked Lisa.
