Delai accompanied Dina to the BMC Building. They are now looking at the large building in the vast courtyard where the country's top caliber models are being trained. It was quite far from their house.
Dina wore a short sleeves-yellow Sabrina cut dress, knee length and a suit with white 4-inch heels. Loose pin straight hair that is natural brown in color. She needs to look young and fresh to impress Miss Lane.
"Wow. This is my first time stepping into this prestigious Modeling Agency. On what floor are the pogi here?" Delai gaped as he surveyed the entirety of the building.
"I don't know. Other trainer teaches male models. David Natividad is their trainer." Dina took a deep breath. She saw some other tall women entering the building with their helpers or managers. "Come on," Dina said to Delai who almost stumbled due to confusion.
She noticed a silhouette of a woman standing at the entrance. She ignored it and shrugged. She has a third eye and she can see creatures other people can't see. She just ignores them. She can't help their grudges. She has a lot of things she needs to focus on, including her dreams.
They approached the reception area and asked the beautiful woman at the Front Desk. "Miss, I'm Dina, Miss Lane Juez is asked me to come today. I'm with my manager." She pointed Delai whose waving his hand to the staff.
"Just leave your ID. He's with you anyway," the woman said politely. "His office is on the second floor. Use the elevator on the left then when you get out of the elevator, his office is on the right, at the end. His name is written on the door and there's a receptionist so you won't get lost." She issued two ID passes affixed to the ID lace. She took the ID Dina handed to her. "Kindly wear your ID passes while you're still inside the company's premises."
"Noted please. Thank you!" smiling Dina replied before heading straight to the elevator. Delai followed with a glance around the vast building.
"Look, it looks like there's an event or something on the other end of rhe buildinf." Delai pointed at it.
Dina looked at what he was pointing to, there were tall women fully made up and wearing beautiful clothes. They came out of a function room at the other end of the hallway. "They are all beautiful..." Dina whispered in admiration, her eyes watering and feeling excited. She will soon be one of them too. Soon...
"Miss, there's no event there. The three function rooms at the end are just rehearsals areas. It's probably a dry run or final fitting of the models that's happening right now," said the woman behind Dina and also waiting for the elevator. They are the same height, she is 5'9 so they probably do not differ in height.
"Ah really? It's so amazing! Even rehearsals just need to be fully made-up?"
"Of course, it is necessary to test whether the make-up and accessories of the model there match the clothes they are going to wear, and that they can walk properly. There are headdresses that are as high as a mountain." She pointed a woman outside the function hall, wearing a three-meter-long headdress with a peacock-like design. "Look at her. Can you imagine how heavy that is, and you need to walk wearing five-inch heels?"
Dina nodded. "I need training. Bloody training."
"Right. Everyone here goes through rigid training. You need to endure everything to survive. Being a model is not as easy like that. Others think it's easy? No. They have no idea what kind of training we do behind their backs. Also, not all models are kind. You will meet mean girls, also with plastic ones. Don't trust people immediately. You are entering a totally different world," the woman said, shaking her head. She's beautiful and toned, with arm muscles, regular-sized boobs and small waist. She has no visible excess fats. She's wearing a V-neck sleeveless fitted black dress with above knee length. The dress has a three inches slit that brings class and attitude to her overall look. She was carrying a white Chanel hand bag.
The elevator rang, the door opened and the passengers exited. "Did you apply as a model?"
"Miss Lane invited me here." The three of them entered the elevator.
"Ah. Trainee. That's great. By the way, I'm Drew, and you are?" She offered a handshake.
"Dina, He's Delai, my manager." They both shook hands. The elevator opened on the second floor. "We'll go ahead."
Drew waved. "All right. Goodluck!"
The elevator closed. "She's beautiful and she's wearing her dress with a class, right?" Dina said, praising Drew.
"Yeah, she's so fit and sophisticated. You'll be like that in time. Come on. The office is supposed to be at the end." Delai led Dina to the far end of the hallway. There was a receptionist outside Miss Lane's office, looking at them.
"Hi, I'm Dina, we're looking for Ms. Lane Juez, she invited us to come here," she said.
"Ah, all right, that's right. Madame Betty is here, too. You're in." The woman pointed at the door. "I'm Anne. We'll meet often, for sure."
Dina was even more nervous from what she heard. "Thank you." The famous international fashion designer and CEO is there. Dina clung to Delai's hand before knocking twice.
