Chapter 3 Bella is Coming Over

As soon as I was told that they was going to be shutting down travels, I made sure to get to America with the blessing of the godfather. I was to see over the families and hopefully win my Bella's heart to have her come back with me to Italy when the pandemic was over.

I been here for little over a year. I wanted to get shit together and figure out shit before I brought Bella into my world. Why did I wanted to do that? Why didn't Sophie tell me that Bella's father was the fucking Mayor.

This is bad.

Very bad.

I heard about this guy over the two years and his political career. I didn't know he had a daughter. Nor have my men told me that she was his daughter. What the hell? They been watch over her.

Sophie walked over to me as she smirked then sat down in front of me. I tilted my head to her, "What is going on?"

Mikey crossed his arms as he chuckled, "She is up to something." I shook my head, "I gather that." Sophie leaned closer to me, "How much do you love me?" I raised my eyebrow, "I love you like a sister." She hummed, "How would you like to see your Bella without her father interfering."

My eyes widened, "What are you talking about?" She shrugged her shoulders, "She maybe on her way right now." I shook my head, "You are lying?" She chuckled, "I am not. She is on her way over with Rich." I tilted my head, "Rich? Who is Rich?" Theo who been watching her for me walked in as he chuckled, "The man that her father is trying to get her to marry." My eyes widened as my fist hit the table in front of me, "What do you mean? Why would she bring him here?"

Sophie held up her hand, "Calm down, Leo. He is gay." I cocked my head, "But her father..." Sophie shook her head, "Doesn't see it but Bella and I have. We have known for years." Theo shook his head as he sat down, "The guy has a boyfriend."

I shook my head, "Why are you here, Theo? Shouldn't you be watching..." The doorbell rung when I lifted up and ran to the door. I feel like a fucking schoolboy right now. I whipped the door opened as my Bella stood in front of me with her sundress when I lifted her in my arms, "What are you doing here, Bella?" She chuckled as she placed her arms around my neck, "Put me down, Leo." I shook my head as a man stood behind her, "I will never put you down."

The man chuckled, "I am Rich." I nodded to him then cocked my head to the gardened, "Everyone is outside, Rich. I am Leo by the way." He patted my shoulder, "I know who you are. Don." My eyes widened, who the fuck is this guy. How does he know that I am a Don? I laid my lips on Bella's cheek when I muttered, "I missed you so much." She tilted her head as I carried her to the garden, "We only met once before." I smirked up at her as her legs wrapped around me, "We have but I haven't stop thinking about since." She snuggled her head into my neck as I walked out into the garden as Mikey groaned, "Get a room."

I narrowed my eyes at him, "Fuck off." She gasped at me as her head picked up. My god she can't be this innocent can she.

Her feet hit the ground as I had Doris got us some tea. One of my staff members around the property. I eyed Rich as Sophie and my Bella chatted and laughed. Rich tilted his head to me as he leaned forward, "Leo, I know who exactly you are. Her father will kill me if he knew that I brought her here but I can see how much she cares for you." I nodded as I couldn't help feel there is a but here, "Thank you for bringing her."

He shook his head, "I didn't do it for you. I did it for her. If she gets hurt, I will kill you myself." I snorted, "I wouldn't dream of it." He looked over as my eyes went to Bella when he said, "You might not but those that want your throne will." My fingers was into my palms squeezing them before I lose my cool, "I know this. No one outside this circle knows how I feel about her or that she exist."

He sat back as he hummed, "Are you sure about that?" The question here isn't that someone knows about her is how he knows who I am. "What do you know about me and how?" He sighed, "I did my research when she came back to Italy when she started to tell me and her best friend about you." I nodded as my jaw clenched, "So you know what I am capable of if you or anyone else hurts her."

He placed his hand up, "It not me you need to worry about." I nodded as I sat back when my arm went around my little one's shoulders. She leaned into me as I happy to see that she wanted my warmth. Sophie squealed, "We should go camping before you start your online courses."

I tilted my head to her, "Did you get into an art school?" She shook her head as she sighed, "I got some art courses but most politic classes." I groaned, "Your father." How did I not get this information? How did I not know she was the Mayor's daughter? What pissed me off is that I know she did not want anything to do with politics. This was her father's doing. I needed to change that. She needs go after her dreams. How can I help her get there with out that asshole finding out?

"My father will never let me go camping." She sighed as she turned her head. Rich chimed in and I am starting to like him better when he said, "He will if he thinks you are going with me." We all turned to him when Bella squealed, "you would do that for me?" He shrugged his shoulders, "Well, it wouldn't be a full lie. We will go camping and Leo will just happened to be there."

She jumped up and wrapped her arms around his neck as she thanked him. I looked up at her as she turned towards me, "What do you think. I start school in about three weeks. Two weeks of camping?" I chuckled at the sight of me camping. The big bad mafia guy getting all with nature.

This could be a good for outside training for me and Mikey.

I nodded to her as I pulled her to my lap, "If that means I can spend time with you with no interruptions then I will do it." She gave me a kiss on the cheek. Damn it woman. I want to kiss those soft lips. Two weeks of her and me. Yeah, I know there is going to be other people around us but still.

I will take it.

We came up with a plan on how we are going to pull this off without raising eyebrows. Rich was going to come out this weekend with his boyfriend but was willing to wait until after the little camping trip. Do I even have camping gear? Rich's boyfriend is going to come along with us also. As long as, I don't have to watch them make out, I am good.

Rich and Bella left the estate when I placed my hand through my hair, "Sophie, I should call this off. If Bella gets hurt then I will lose it. Because she would get hurt due to who I am." Sophie smacked my arm, "What are you going to do with your feelings? You have been miserable for two years keeping your distance from her. I say kidnap her and marry her ass before you go completely mad."

I wasn't against the idea.

I groaned in confusion.

I know that I shouldn't be bring her into this, but I can't help wanting her near me.
